Ahhhh so the Classic debate here in Washington…. Do you get Cinnaholic or go for a Cinnabon? Well they both offer a different experience in my opinion. But today we are discussing Cinnaholic. Recently, marked their anniversary and they offered a amazing promo for $1 Classic rolls. You can always count on their Cinnamon rolls to be packages fresh and still have icing dripping off the bun. The roll is light and fluffy, and the cream is almost like a melted cream cheese texture with a hint of butter…but wooooooh they go together well. The beautiful thing about Cinnaholic is you can customize your Classic cinnamon roll how ever you want. They have many toppings to choose from and you could pretty much try something new everything. A good comparison is like the Cold stone ice cream of cinnamon rolls. Not feeling so creative? Well They offer a wide selection of Pre designed customer rolls ( see my picture) if you want to try something new without making al the hard decisions. Every-time I’ve visited Cinnaholic the customer service team is nice and very timely with my orders. This is something I really thank them for, many locations in Seattle have felt so slow recently. As a side note, if you visit Cinnaholic in Capital Hill it’s perfectly located to go to after you hit all the bars or clubs in a weekend night. ( If things are open, covid has been off and off). Overall I would recommend you to try this place! - Colter

I love cinnamon rolls and I was so excited to have a custom cinnamon roll but I was slightly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the toppings on the cinnamon roll were good but the cinnamon roll itself was subpar. It just tasted like dough rather than a cinnamon roll. My cinnamon roll was also not warm and I asked if I could have it warmed more and they said they don't take them back after they give them to the customer. Everyone in my group wanted theirs to be warmed a little more but was rejected. Other than that, the workers that day were really nice and friendly and gave good insight when we had questions. Would I get another cinnamon from there? Most likely not, I've had basic cinnamon rolls that tasted better but it was a good experience. If you look at my review history, I'm not one to give bad reviews but I couldn't help it.

Customizable cinnamon roll spot that’s open late. Came here around 10pm after dinner to satisfy my sweet tooth. There is indoor seating available as well as takeout. Credit cards are accepted. You pay first and then they’ll call out your name once your order is ready. You can customize your cinnamon roll or get a pre-made option. I got the cream cheese frosting and cookie dough on mine (it’s 75 cents per topping option). The cream cheese frosting was a little thin but there was a generous amount spread over the roll. There was also a good amount of chocolate chip cookie dough. The cinnamon roll tasted better the next day (microwaved for 30 seconds). You could also easily share one cinnamon roll between 2-3 people. They have drinks available. There’s one single occupant restroom available but it was out of order when we were there. Overall, it’s a good option to get something sweet before going out in Capitol Hill.

Goodness. I'm not too sure what I can say about this little dessert place. But one thing should make it clear if you're wondering what to expect here. Cookie dough on cinnamon buns. Yup. If you're a sweet fiend who can't just have one, but two types of desserts then this place is for you. Not only do they have many types of this cinnamon bun monstrosity, the cream they use tastes just like heavenly sweet butter. It can't be good... But then again, if you're interested in coming here, I'm sure being good isn't on your list. Don't like the Frankensteins cinnamon bun and prefer the simple life? Well, they got you. The cookie dough and cinnamon buns by themselves are also a god send. Wanna try and actually bake the dough? They got you covered with simple to go packages. Overall, if you're feeling adventurous and wanna try something ridiculously fun, then Cinnaholic is the place you've been looking for.

I've been here twice now, the first time was pretty good - I ordered a classic roll (Cinnamon Roll with Vanilla Icing) - the breading was soft the cinnamon sugar was gooey, but the icing was excessive. This recent trip I ordered a Cinnamon Roll with Cream Cheese icing and the Cookie Monster. It was quite underwhelming this time. Not sure what happened, but the breading was tough on both rolls. The Cream Cheese was good, not too different from the classic Vanilla, but again excessice icing. The Cookie Monster was overly sweet and it's one of those things you kinda hate yourself for eating. Both were pretty mediocre. The staff is pleasant and polite, so that's a plus. The interior is simple, but effective. Decent desert spot despite this recent disappointing visit.

First time here after living in the area for 3 years. I’m not vegan but I am lactose intolerant. The staff was super friendly. I had a lot of questions and the manager answered all of them with the utmost care and positivity. They don’t blatantly say they’re vegan which was confusing. I had a cinnamon roll with strawberry frosting and fresh strawberries. It was pretty good. I was surprised by how good the roll was itself. It was hot and chewy and sweet. I then went back and got a…. Believe it or not, Pizza roll. Get the extra cheese. It’s worth it. I highly recommend coming here at least once, if not once a month for a date night. I will be back to try something else on the menu.

Really friendly cashier. Very positive and adorable. Unfortunately gave him a needlessly difficult Saturday trying out their specialty matcha with coconut and pineapple juice. He had a great can-do attitude and found the recipe despite me giving him the out of making a normal matcha. Glad to see it. Can't say I would recommend that drink but it's not his fault...I won't punish the delivery service of another's idea lol. Would recommend a regular matcha. Of course the cinnamon rolls were DELICIOUS; I got an almond icing with raspberry and bananas and somehow managed to make myself feel like I had been healthy eating a decadent treat. Very pricey but worth it. Would recommend!

Amazing cinnamon roles. I’m going to cut straight to the point - I typically steer clear of vegan and gluten free desserts, so I didn’t know going in the cinnamon roles were vegan. Wow, they tasted incredible. To be honest, I didn’t know until my wife told me. Probably the best cinnamon role I’ve ever had. I had the original and my wife had the apple pie. For those that don’t have a sweet tooth, you might not like it. I will admit that it’s a bit heavy and probably needs to be eaten over a few sessions lol. My advice is to go for the original frosting - it is a classic and keeps things simple. Highly recommend if you like cinnamon rolls.

  • Ramiro Alejandro Restrepo

Pretty good cinnamon rolls! As everyone has said, there are so many choices, so I’d be down to come back and try something else. My choices ended up being just ok - pecans and banana cream. The banana cream tasted like warm banana yogurt, which is fine, but something just wasn’t working for me when it combined with the cinnamon roll. Maybe I’m just a fan of a classic roll. My partner ordered the omg roll with cookie dough and oreos - he enjoyed that. We also got a tub of cookie dough to take home, but we didn’t like it at all. Lastly, service was a bit slow - took a bit for our order to come out.

  • Courtney Clarke

I was so excited to order these for my sons birthday but they weren’t ready at the selected time and then they were frosted hot so I’m left with this mess. I would have been use to pick up later but no one contacted me to let me know that the time selected wouldn’t work. I won’t be spending money and time to visit this business again. EDIT TO ADD: I reached out to Cinnaholic and they were quick to respond to my mishap today and have worked with me to help fix the situation. Thank you! I will increase my star rating because of the customer service response.

Delicious vegan cinnamon rolls are hard to come by. I’ve heard of Cinnaholic for a while and really wanted a Seattle location to open. The cinnamon roll gods answered my prayers, and these treats sent me over the moon! This is a warm, gooey, melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon roll. One bite, and I was immersed in cinnamon-y goodness. My favorite part is getting to that warm, creamy center. Divine! If you haven’t tried their banana bread yet, it’s also worth having. It’s dusted with cinnamon sugar with chocolate chips baked inside.

  • Kieran Tobias

Very nice counter attendant! They didn’t have the ingredients for the first two rolls I wanted (peach cobbler and strawberry cheesecake), but I substituted a flavor and ended up with a raspberry/strawberry cheesecake. Also ordered an apple crisp. Sadly, the rolls themselves were chewy in a bad-mouthfeel kind of way. The fresh strawberries were good. The spiced apples were a bit crunchier than I would have liked. Also note that they don’t take bills larger than $20.

One of the few places open in the area on a Monday. Service was great and the lady was kind and attentive. I custom ordered a cinnamon roll with marshmallow icing and cookie dough (pictured) and my husband ordered the apple crisp cinnamon roll. The lady asked if we would be okay waiting 10 minutes while she prepared fresh apples. We didn't mind the wait and it was worth it. Everything was fresh. So much so I was able to enjoy the leftovers the next day!

  • Tyler J

So close! I got a regular cinnamon bun with creme brûlée icing and it was pretty good. The bun was fresh out of the warmer, icing melty, gooey, and abundant, and the flavor was pretty on par. My one complaint is the texture of the bun itself. The outside looked dry and crusty, where I am looking for a brioche-like consistency in cinnamon buns. It could’ve dried out in the warmer, but that’s just my opinion. It was delicious, don’t get me wrong.

  • Aubra Fly

Fun little place to grab a treat — I customized my roll and even with a tip, it was around $9, which is a steal for Seattle standards! My morning was made by John, who promptly greeted me, asked if it was my first time (it was), walked me through things (and even gave tips on what’s most popular), and didn’t rush me. He was kind and helpful and even asked me before I left how I enjoyed my breakfast. John, your customer service was excellent!

  • Chris A (SimplyAvina)

My girlfriend has been raving about this place for a while and I have been meaning to come and try it. We made a trip down in Seattle for date night and came to this spot after dinner. Needless to say, I was impressed. The menu is very extensive and there’s so many options! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I love the ambiance and the layout. Parking is Seattle parking so take that what you will, but definitely recommend this place!

  • Sipho Ncube

I always look forward to buying cinnamon rolls at this location but my experience today was bad. The cinnamon roll seemed stale and not fresh at all. The girl taking my order seemed in a rush to finish what looked like a bigger order so she kind of just rushed with my order and it did not look visually appealing nor did it taste fresh as I usually get it. If I had a refund option for todays experience that’s what I would’ve opted for!

  • Lilith Collins

Hands down the best cinnamon rolls of my life. The store was clean and smelled amazing. A very nice girl helped me order as soon as I walked in, and then my order was made immediately. Whole process took 3 minutes at most. I ordered an "Old Skool" regular cinnamon roll, and a build your own with banana cream frosting, strawberries, and chocolate syrup. They did melt, due to my drive home, but they still tasted absolutely incredible.

  • Eric Tank

WOW that was tasty! And goodness there are options!!! I like to start simple and get fancy later, so I tried the plain vanilla cinnamon roll and it was lovely. Different base than any I've had before, it's not as heavy/dense like some but still has plenty of substance. Can't quite place it but I think it makes for a great roll. Also, they're baking small batches all day & night so you get hot and fresh rolls even right before close!

  • Erik Bailey

Do you like gooey goodness? Large soft warm rolls covered in cinnamon? Coffee? Decent seating? Quarky toppings on your cinnamon rolls? Then you should probably come here. Wait was not long at all and the food was exactly what I thought it would be. They have different types of frosting and toppings, but call me old fashion but I got classic frosting. Gooey, warm, cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting on top.

  • Olivia Witt

Honestly not worth your money. Ended up being $12 with tip for a cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting and Oreos. I’m not sure but I think they used the wrong frosting because it didn’t taste like cream cheese frosting and it was very wet. The cinnamon roll had like no cinnamon too so much so that I had to recheck their menu and make sure I ordered a cinnamon roll instead of something else. Not worth it.

  • Lindsay McCoy

Wow!!! I’m seriously not going to want a cinnamon roll from any other place now! Also seriously can’t believe these are vegan!! I tried the maple one which had pecans, caramel, and maple frosting, seriously out of this world delicious! Very soft, the perfect amount of gooey frosting, and tastes amazing fresh baked. There are so many customization options, I’ll have to come back and try more variations!

  • Vanessa Siemens

This is a great option any time of day, and they are open late. Their creativity in creating delicious cinnamon buns is phenomenal. It was hard to choose toppings as they have so many great options. They also have a good selection of coffee to choose from. They were welcoming and friendly and it was packaged well for take out. I look forward to trying other flavour combinations in the future.

  • Mika Carvalho

I love this place. Everything is plant based and delicious. It has the best brownie I had in my life. I'm super addicted to it now. It's open until late in the night. I usually stop by to get a treat after a bar. It's also the best place to get some last minute food for a party. I ordered 2 dozen mini cinnamon rolls and they were able to prepare everything in less than 2 hours.

  • paradox

Great food!! They have a very wide selection, with an almost over the top amount of combinations you can make. Their make your own cinnamon roll section has about 20 kinds of toppings and 20 kinds of frostings, which if you only included 1 on 1 combos, no using multiple toppings, would equal out to 400 combos!!! That's kind of insane, but it's awesome. Love their stuff, 10/10!

  • Elly T

It was alright. More expensive than I was expecting. Way sweeter than I wanted. It took me 3 days to eat due to the sweetness. I could not find the nutrition facts anywhere on sugar content. It was unavailable online and in-store. Though, I did find the calories -- which were greater than 2000 for my "Oreo Madness" single serving order. Everything is vegan.

  • M

Delicious cinnamon rolls, love that everything is vegan! I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake roll through DoorDash and it was really yummy, still warm when it arrived too! Big portions and extremely sweet, so make sure you're in the mood for sweets since there's many sauces/creams on this one. Delicious though! Would go back and try more!

  • Jonathan Van Steinburg

Fantastic! A vegan cinnamon roll that you can choose different toppings and frostings. Now I have to come back and try some different variations. The roll it self was light and fluffy and I opted for the cream cheese frosting and some walnuts to top it. I ate the entire thing wishing i had four....teen more. I'll be back soon. I promise

  • Jennifer Thurmond

VEGAN cinnamon rolls topped with delicious goodness and love. Had an amazing customer service experience! [I only wish I knew their name.] If you like sweets this is a great specialty shop, the rolls are served warm and topped with a variety of toppings. Had a morning java roll and was very pleased with the textures and flavor.

  • Alex Olson

One of the worst experiences possible. Even with an online order placed well in advance, and almost no one in the store upon arrival, my order hadn’t even been started. To make things better, the staff was cold, apathetic, and unbelievably slow. And the cinnamon rolls are mediocre at best. Save yourself the time and headache.

  • Joshua Lozensky

This place is one of my favorite spots for a sweet treat in Seattle! The rolls are made fresh when ordered with all sorts of different icing flavors and toppings. Even better, the entire thing is tasty, so you're not just waiting to get to the center like other shops. Definitely worth a visit for anyone with a sweet tooth.

  • Kito Page

Traveled 25 miles only to find out they were sold out of the items I selected. No call...and the cashier who was working just substituted my order but was not going to mention it to me. When I arrived I purchased a hot chocolate but was charged for extra items as I looked at them. They were refunded but it was ackword.

  • Benji Tri

I can't believe it's vegan! Seriously, my wife only told me this when we were halfway through eating. Buttery, rich rolls with a variety and customizable toppings. The more you pour on, the more it'll cost, but they are very good and rich. Service is fast and friendly. College area with more niche shops and eateries.

  • Hannah April

LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE this place. If you’re not a sweets person, just get the Old Skool. They do an amazing job with the cream cheese icing and the options are quite literally endless. Thank you for being plant-based and offering a bakery experience for us veg heads who cannot eat anywhere else. Stay awesome.

  • Vega

Talk about great service and amazing workers, being a fan of cinnamon rolls I was just thinking it'd be just another pastry shop with a different style but they surpassed my expectations...easily the best cinnamon roll I've tasted! The work they put into these things is crazy, I'll be back!

  • Mo Stych

This is a good place to satisfy your sweet tooth! Just be prepared for the sugar coma that follows. We split the Cookie Monster roll and it was so good! Not sure why it took the world so long to put cookie dough on a cinnamon roll, but it’s a brilliant idea. Perfect for a late-night treat.

  • Alex Nguyen

Wow what a cool spot to get cinnamon rolls! They have so many flavors and you can make your own too! What I love about this spot is that it’s vegan and it’s not too sweet either! My favorite is the strawberry one but the fluffernutter was good too! Very friendly staff too! I’d come back.

  • Alex Maloney

Friendly staff and very very sweet cinnamon rolls! Love that they are vegan - we got the we nutter butter, which had a peanut butter frosting with fudge and marshmallows. I only wish the cinnamon bun itself was a bit warm/gooey. Also got a chocolate chip cookie which was nice as soft!

  • Trina H

I love cinnaholic because they are vegan, so it makes it so I can have cinnamon rolls. They are delicious. We usually get the old skool rolls.

OMG I love cinnaholic!!!! Is one of the best Cinnamon rolls I've had! And they have so many different flavors to choose from, even if you get the original, believe me: IT'S SOOOO WORTH IT!!!!! and the attention is always amazing, I come back over and over again, no complains ever.

Warm service, warm rolls AND VEGAN?? I’m not vegan but holy cats these are quadruple better than Cinnabon. Still moist and voluptuously fluffy with perfect frosting/bun ratio (I chose the crème brûlée with strawberry jam) cheers for local businesses that simply do it better …

  • Evelyn Tepe

If you are going to get dessert in this city, do yourself a favor and make it here! Holy moly, was this place insane! Gooey and hot cinnamon rolls topped with almost anything you can think of. Maybe this sounds dramatic but… I think this place changed my life. A hundred stars.

  • Brittany F

Spent $17 of my hard earned dollars on 2 cinnamon rolls with tax and tip. My first bite reminded me of soft pizza dough…lacking in cinnamon even as I got to the middle. I love supporting local businesses but would rather have gotten make at home rolls from the grocery store.

  • mick yevengich

Tried this place and won't be back again walking in and lady did not even look at me I sat there for 5 total minutes asking her if I can order she just kept looking away I'm unsure if she was High or just lazy and hates her job nonetheless I will not come here again …

  • L C

Tons of awesome all vegan options, so hard to choose!Had the Cookie Monster and it was great! The cookie dough they have is delicious and a great texture. They list out the calories in the menu which is fantastic. Friendly and helpful staff too! …

  • oh no

customer service was great, so kind :) and the cinnamon rolls… omg the cinnamon rolls are HEAVEN. they’re one of the best cinnamon rolls i’ve tried: so soft, so fluffy, super tasty, plus they’re vegan (absolutely amazing). definitely recommend!

  • Methal Dabaj

It’s so disappointing. This place used to be good. For $18 you’d think you’d get a fresh cinnamon roll. Two times now I order and receive stale rolls. Very disappointing

Vegan cinnamon rolls!! This place is seriously so good. So many choices, and SO much sugar. I couldn't eat the entire cinnamon roll in one sitting, sooooo sweet, but so good. Fantastic bakery. One of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had.

  • Ashley Blackmer

I drove from Tacoma to visit this place and was unimpressed. The location is dirty and I didn't want to be in there any longer than I needed. I was also unimpressed with the cinnamon roll itself, it tasted very weird. I won't visit again.

Delicious....delicious...delicious! I got the brownie beast cinnamon roll and it was amazing. I have a sweet tooth, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but it definitely hit the spot. In addition to custom cinnamon rolls, they also have

  • Cloud Writer

These are the best cinnamon rolls ever. Even if I wasn't vegan this would be my first choice. During the pandemic they have been kind enough to occasionally deliver to other parts of the area outside of Seattle. It's so appreciated.

  • William Cabezas

A truly unique sweet snack experience. I had a strawberry shortcake and a blueberry blitz (without marshmallows), and both were incredible. Definitely enough cinnamon roll for one person in one sitting, and mine both last for two.

  • stephanie bock

This place is really great! The cinnamon rolls are outrageous and everything is vegan. The only thing I will say is that the frosting is pretty sweet. Could’ve probably just had the cinnamon roll alone and been perfectly content!

  • Hiral V

Amazing little find. All vegan place!! We aren't do much into cinnamon buns so we ask the server to prepare us vegan brownie + orange cream + nuts and it was mind blowingly delicious! Definitely will try to come again!

  • Beth Gasser

Great experience. Stopped in on a whim to grab a treat for later. Loved that we could sample frosting prior to ordering and fresh rolls were in the oven while we ordered. Loved the creme brulee frosting with pecans.

  • Kallen Tu

Huge pillowy cinnamon rolls with lots of toppings of your choice. We put raspberry frosting and some graham crackers on it and it's a huge mess, but tasted great. It's pretty sweet and good to share with two people.

  • Alyssa Knoll

Such a cool place! I was worried when I walked in that all of the options would be too rich and heavy to really enjoy but our custom cinnamon roll was light and fluffy and melted in our mouths. Highly recommend!

  • Very Raft

Awesome experience! I was so excited to find a vegan cinnamon roll shop so close to my apartment. It smells incredible inside, and my cinnamon roll was delicious. I'll definitely be back for more vegan desserts!

  • Mbaye Dione

This place is amazing! They offered the best coffee and showed the best attitude to its costumers. The service was good, and the variety of cinnamon roll and coffee served in the ambiance was very satisfying.

  • Katie Vranesic

Their crème brûlée frosting is seriously incredible. Enjoy while hot and you’ve got a tasty treat. Usually have enough for leftovers the next morning. Best thing about this place is how late they’re open.

  • Rebekah Haukaas

Absolutely fabulous! I don’t like too sweet of anything and this place was perfect! You can make your own or pick from their menu. Cute little dining area and the staff are delightful. We shall be back!!

  • Dale Burks

The coffee! Why why why is it better than the coffee shops? Oh the cinnamon rolls. Forget it. Best ever. I mean, that’s a mild compliment. I don’t relish a cinnamon roll, but it redefined the experience.

  • Forrest Robbins

If your sweet tooth tends to get the better of you then bring your business here. Everything you ever wanted on a cinnamon roll is all here. Your served fresh baked rolls with mountains of toppings.

  • Amabel Gale

So many amazing options! I love having such a large vegan selection and every roll I tried was delicious. Some rolls are sweeter than others so consider inquiring if you are sensitive to sweetness.

  • Michael Fronda

A good place if you're craving a cinnamon roll. I love how you can customize your roll with all sorts of different toppings and frostings. Only giving a 4 because my roll was a bit on the dry side.

  • M3DICINE MAN

Absolutely worst place I've ever been! Customer service is horrible. The cost was insanely expensive for something that taste like dog food. If I were you I would go anywhere else but here!

  • Gabby McDaniel

The lady behind the counter was super nice! But the cinnamon roll wasn’t great :( Was looking for a sweet fix like cinnabon, didnt quite live up to that for $10 Pretty thick & doughy & wet

  • Robby Daigle

It feels like the branding was randomly generated by a computer. The cinnamon buns could use more cinnamon paste but when you load it with stuff it really doesn't matter. Would recommend.

  • Ravi Nehra

Not a good experience, I like a sweet cinnamon roll but this was borderline inedible, swimming in icing and with only a plastic spoon to try and eat it. Not worth the $12 price tag.

  • Nasra Dahir

The vibe is great but the food just really isn’t tasty regardless of how good it sounds, dole whip is good but taste extremely similar to the one at the froyo shop in Renton!
