One of the better Uber eats options if you're hungry in the evening and ultimately the best Indian Restaurant in the South East region. We experimented with every other Indian restaurant until we landed on Cinnamon Club and we haven't been elsewhere since. The key for me is the sweetness of the butter chicken. Be it Cinnamon or some other sweet spice they've added something to give it an extra kick and it WORKS. Well done. *Edit - I've lowered the score to a 3. While their best is CLEARLY a cut above the rest their worst is putrid. I'd bet my right hand but this looks to be the SECOND time we've received leftovers. The first time I got a bad batch of butter chicken (tasted bitter, nowhere near as good) I was told that they'd had a big function at the restaurant and this was the result of the leftovers from the function. They did the right thing and sent out another butter chicken, freshly made, infinitely better and I was satisfied to keep the 5/5 review. I've just received another Butter Chicken tonight and it tastes as poor as the time we received the function leftovers. I apologise if I'm incorrect but if I'm right, CINNAMON CLUB are a quality restaurant with GOOD quality food but they take nasty shortcuts and frankly I'll either hold off in future or call to ask it be made fresh, which is a little ridiculous. Both Lassi's also arrived warm, hardly ideal for a yoghurt drink. Disappointing...

I am DONE with this cheapskate of a business. This is the FOURTH time in about seven orders we've received tasteless and dry LEFTOVERS from some other batch they've cooked up during the day (butter chicken + naan bread) and we will never order from them again. The sad part is, their best is actually fantastic, the butter chicken is fragrant and delicious and honestly is amongst some of the best we've had in this area but after THREE sets of apologies and excuses regarding us being sent late night leftovers, the FOURTH time has me convinced this is a clear management directive to cut costs, as opposed to the explanations we received regarding it being a "mistake" on the chef's part. The first two times we got the food remade and it was unsurprisingly delicious, the third (and now 4th) time we've just gotten it refunded and I refuse to entertain their promises of "we always make our food fresh, we're sorry for the mix up". There is a MASSIVE distinction between their best and their worst and I already feel ill after 4 mouthfuls tonight . We've thrown out the rest and I hope this review serves as a warning to all customers ordering from this business. Ask for it to be cooked fresh and I guarantee you won't be disappointed, however take caution if you don't. I understand businesses need to cut certain corners to survive in this climate but this particular shortcut is an absolute disgrace and I hope they learn from it. 0/5

We recently had the pleasure again with a few friends of our dining at Cinammon Club, and it was an extraordinary experience! We have been visiting this restaraunt for years now and our friends and us enjoyed the experience completely. The Chicken Biryani was fragrant and flavorful, the Goat Biryani was a delightful surprise, and the Butter Chicken was a perfect blend of creamy goodness. The Traditional Indian Chicken Curry showcased rich, authentic spices, while the Blinman Masala and Chilli Chicken added a tantalizing kick to the meal. The naans were soft and freshly baked, complementing the dishes perfectly. A true gem in Cheltenham for anyone seeking an unforgettable Indian culinary adventure. And the staff looking after us were amazing. Their duty of care was of an impeccable stsndard. Highly recommend this restaraunt for authentic Indian cuisine.

My fiancée held a significant Birthday party here and it was staff that helped plan was very accommodating as were all the staff on the night. Food was beautiful and flavoursome, not your average Indian at all. The buffet was diverse and generous. Settings and tables were simply lovely and elegant. The band (After Dark) was excellent, performing a perfect blend of music to give everyone a good knees up. They played their hearts out till there was no time left. A family member is a professional singer and was generously allowed to offer her mum a song she had written for the occasion as well as join in some songs along the way. What a great way to celebrate! And the fact that we were one of a few groups celebrating that night made it all the more exciting and enthusiastic. Melbourne is a multicultural haven and this restaurant showcases all that is good about about sharing life together. Do not miss out on this great restaurant and venue.

We went there cos we've heard good things about this restaurant. Unfortunately the day we reserved a table, so did a massive party for a 60th birthday which took over the whole restaurant. It became awkward cos we were all of a sudden celebrating a stranger's birthday with their loud family and friends. Their party took over the whole restaurant, and were constantly standing around our table talking loudly, very much in our space. We ended up having to go home and finishing our celebrations (cutting our cakes etc), as it was too loud to even speak to each other at that point of the night. Otherwise the food was delicious, and the staff was lovely. I just wish they had arranged for the private party in a seperate area/time - specially during COVID.

The food was warmish although tasted okay. We booked the $45 banquet for 12 ppl but after waiting for 40mins we discovered that we should help ourselves to the buffet. The restaurant had run out of the first wine requested, however the waitress was helpful in not recommending a particular bottle which must have been quite cheap. Most of the wine on offer sells for $10-12 at a bottle shop. Overall the food is not memorable (which many buffets are not) and the service lacking considering we were not advised that the banquet would not be served. If your looking for something more than an ordinary buffet then I recommend you go elsewhere.

Ordered take away on someone’s recommendation. Said it would be 40 minutes. Got there on 40 mins and seemed to have not started cooking it yet. Waited another 35 minutes until we got order. 5 other people including Uber drivers were angry and waiting line us long overdue orders. Secondly butter chicken was not smooth and worst butter chicken I have tasted. Medium to hot spicy….not normal. Even pumpkin masala was too spicy. Will be asking for part refund as total experience and food well under par.

Don’t waste your time! Service was terrible, the waitress was uninterested as soon as we said we didn’t want to have the banquet due to dietary requirements. Cinnamon Club catered my brothers wedding at Fior and it was absolutely amazing. Him and his staff were so accommodating to all our food requests from canapés to mains and desserts. They were able to provide everything we asked plus so much more. We also held a Mehndi night at the Cinnamon Club which was also 10/10. All our guests were so impressed by the food and service. 100% would recommend for the restaurant and their amazing catering services for any occasion.

I went there with my family a fews ago and the food was great - bit oily/buttery but very nice. Last night I had ordered a few things for takeaway and called immediately to ask for it to be made spicy. Portion sizes for takeaway were great but the food was so oily that despite being wrapped in cling wrap it was leaking through the plastic bag. It leaked onto my car and stained the kitchen counter. The food was overall lacking flavour and simply too oily to eat and had to throw it out.

Fantastic venue for parties! We had our son's second birthday party and it was a wonderful experience. Pankaj was very pleasant to deal with and accommodated all our requests from beginning to end. Had an amazing night out for my birthday dinner last Saturday night. With delicious selections from the buffet, vegetarian and non-veg options available. The bar has a good selection of alcohol with very reasonable prices, the staff were very attentive and friendly. I had hosted a party over here during the Diwali period with my university friends and we practically had the whole restaurant and the stage to ourselves for the whole duration of the party... I would recommend this restaurant 100%

Not recommended at all. Attended someone's party there and the food was very disappointing. The kabaabs had maggots in them and had to be returned. The chicken tikkas were under cooked. Basically all the meats were stale. Not sure how the food inspectors have allowed them a licence.

they're quite average tbh. lots of wedding venues here but I don't see the hype. I had a banquet for $35. actually came for the elusive buffet which I can't find a single photo of on Maps nor their socials. not sure it even exists tbh... my mango lassi was room temp and the 4 curries are medium heat by default but arrived heat-less.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Cheltenham. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in. There was also plenty of room for family and work parties. Highly recommend!

Years ago, people would say that you go to Cinnamon Club for the music and atmosphere, not the food (which was average at best). However, recently the food has been great - I really enjoyed the Goan prawn curry in the NYE buffet. And of course the live band and dance floor were ace as always.
