This place is a must visit if in Kansas City and have a couple of hours to kill. During the summer on weekends, if possible. The food aromas give it an atmosphere like no other. Fresh vegetables, fresh foods, great restaurants, bands sometimes are playing even street performers. If you are looking for recipe ingredients that you can't get at the grocery store, this place will probably have it. Awesome museum too.
I Had a terrific meal at the Middle East restaurant. The woman taking orders recommended a lentil soup and meal with free hot tea. I have been to the Middle East once before and once again truly felt welcome and pleased to experience a cultural experience without having to fly overseas. I also had the baklava and found it was very sweet, but light and authentic.
Decent market. Many of these places had lines out the door. Variety of fruits, veggies, spices, tea, plants,etc.. All fairly, if not super cheap, priced. One massive Con: parking in the lots on the weekends is crazy. People dont check corners or back out without looking all over the place. Just have to be careful in the parking lots.
Such a beautiful market to visit. You can shop fresh produce, continental groceries, bubble tea, different cuisine restaurants, museum and one should not miss stopping at beautiful garden and flower shop there. My favorite place in Kansas City downtown. Plenty of parking available as well..
Really cool and lively place on a summer Saturday. Beautiful Riverfront Park is nearby with an interesting bridge and path. Accessible via streetcar. Kansas City is on the way up!
Very nice. Lots of fresh produce. We didn't eat there but looked like lots of good food vendors and restaurants.
Come down Saturdays and Sundays between 9-3 and meet local farmers and artists. Love buying local!
Great deals and great selection of food choices and a variety of options to purchase items.
Really fun to walk around, lots of food, crafts, and artists. Wife and I had a great time.
Best place for fresh produce and I just like the environment here whenever I visit.
Increidible place to walk and spend a day. You could get there on the tranvia
Great place to get food and enjoy the city with your family
A busy streetcar station. Many people get on and off here.
