(Romans 2: 19 - 24). Why does this church continually delete truthful reviews? This church believes it is above reproach and accountability. Family members of the church's inner circle have continued to retain our father's possessions and sell them on Marketplace (as recently as 2023), nearly 6 years since our father died. We have evidence of this. This unethical behaviour has occurred despite previous conversations and written communication highlighting the distress this caused our family. In 2017/2018 members of this church made arrangements with their family to sell a congregational member's (our father) estate without the knowledge of his daughters and grandchildren who had been the sole support to both parents. Members of this church have used their family to wrongfully keep/use our dead father's possessions and sell these items on Marketplace instead of returning items to family. In addition to recent evidence that can be shown for this Marketplace sale (2023), we hold evidence for numerous previous Gumtree sales (2018). We will continue to highlight this church's deceitfulness and lack of transparency. This church wrongfully and foolishly assisted a mentally unstable elderly woman demonstrating erratic behaviour, to cut off her family. Families connected to this church and its leaders have ultimately profited from our father's death. More significantly, this church denies, ignores and disregards the trauma, damage and distress it has caused other Christian families within the wider community. Proverbs 6:17-19.

The ascention has improved my spiritual journey since first attendance. Outsiders intitiall aren't accepted re(a)d-ily. It began with a red baron pointing the proverbial finger of accusing me of bludging of morning tea feastings. But this couldn't be further from the truth. I have an etiquette personal rule of three tea cake limit. And, I really do believe in God and Jesus Christ. As the clergy gets to know you, their attitudes to newbies soften. The church was $47,000(?) in debt on my first visit but this seems to have improved, perhaps because I am here. I would really like to see a visit from a Southern Baptist Choir from the United States, it would be great. Don't talk about your life's work, material possessions, or life experience and it won't give them a reason to break the "thou shalt not covet thy neighbour" commandment and nominate you as a human sacrifice to the Lord. You can rest assure Hope Colegrove will remind you of your human errors and correct your language without knowing the full story of your perpetrators who behaved badly to provoke you. Ultimately, you are bad and the sinner.

My home church so of course I'm biased Solid biblical teachings, friendly people - but not all up in your face - and uplifting traditional hymns (with a few modern-ish) songs and choruses thrown in Kids programs Sunday morning (all ages), Nursery available during the service and Free off-street parking available behind the church in the United Services Club on Sunday's for church goers (please don't park undercover tho - that's not for church members). Looking fwd to meeting you one Sunday soon ☺

Beautiful church with organ music, choir and a great group of members who served in the service. I attended the evening service and felt the warmth of the people. The worship service, Bible reading, choice of songs, offer of prayers and pulpit sharing ministered to my heart and soul. God is so full of goodness towards us.

Great acoustics!!, beautiful big windows that really brighten the whole area, it is also air-conditioned for excellent comfort all year round. Lovely high ceilings make it feel very bright, fresh and spacious. It also has a swimming pool inside which is small, but would be lovely to wade in during summer.

Over the last couple of years this church has been and still is wonderfully led by a lovely couple who we are humbled to have a part of our church fellowship. Richard and Pat have gone above and beyond in their care and nurture of so many, and we have been blessed.

Excellent venue for a baroque concert and the concert was very good. The pews were pretty hard though - could have used cushions.

A very unique building for a Baptist Church. I had the good fortune to be given a guided tour and a free sausage sandwich. Went as part of Brisbane open door 2019.

Beautiful church the architecture and acoustics! The choir and pianist and Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra were spectacular.

Very friendly people, very close to Central Station and had very good Christmas events and Facebook streaming.

Thanks for the free event of Excerpts from Handel's Messiah during Christmas season. It was spectacular.
