I had my children's birthday party here yesterday. We were taken to a party room that was disgusting. The floor looked like it hadn't been swept in weeks. The walls were smeared with who knows what. There was a huge hole in the ceiling. The bathroom in the party room was covered in filth and feces. They whole room smelled of sewage as well as the public bathroom outside the party room. I asked to speak to the manager twice. The first time I was told she wasn't there and would be back in 20 minutes and they would have her come talk to me. Before our party was over, she still hadn't come to see what I wanted, so I asked to speak to her again. When she finally came , she walked into the party room, past me. I had to go to her. She was very rude. She admitted there was a known sewage issue and that the room was filthy but didn't understand what I could possibly want from her. I ended up feeding my guests on the tables next to the lanes to keep them from being exposed to the filth in that so called party room. This manager needs a lesson in customer service, manners, and cleanliness.

I rate lanes against each other. 5 being highest and 1 being lowest. Based on our last 5 lanes bowled at here is how I rank City View. Atmosphere – 3. Large alley with a commercial vibe to it. We got there at noon and bar wasn’t open so they scored low on that front. Bar – 1. Scored lowest because bar wasn’t open. The other 4 lanes opened their bar at 12 noon. Lighting – 1. Dark from the approach to about 80% down the lanes. Made the pins seem distant. Seating – 2. Kind of cramped. Scoreboard – 3. Easy to follow. Pin Action – 5. The pins seemed very live with a lot of action. Lanes – 4. No complaints. Friendliness of Staff - 5. The man who worked the counter, while not the most personable by nature, was very helpful in getting us set up with the scoring system. Offered some tips. Bathrooms - 3. Average. Pro Shop – N/A.

Not only is the staff unprofessional the lanes will destroy your bowling ball. I don’t recommend anyone going here and using their personal ball. Two of my balls that were purchased last week had chunks taken out of them from the ball return. Even though both balls were purchased at this bowling alley they only want to replace one of them. Also the overall appearance of the bowling alley is honestly disgusting the bathrooms are never cleaned and you can tell the floors are never mopped or vacuumed. I watched staff at the end of the night clean certain parts of the floor with a napkin instead of mopping. I would say you get what you pay for, but this place is also overpriced. I’d rather pay more money and bowl at Main Event.

I enjoy going here. I bowl league and this is one of the better alleys to bowl at. There is a young lady behind the counter in the grill area that, in my opinion, doesn't understand that working in food service should be approached from a more friendly personality. Normally the people behind the counter there ask me what lane I'm on. When she didn't and I offered her the info, she told me she wouldn't be able to bring me the order to my table, as they were to busy. She did bring me the order but I could tell she was put out by it. Now every time I order food, I feel like she treats me like I've kicked her dog or something. Not sure why I get her attitude when I was only continuing a trend that has been ongoing for years.

Outdated, raggedy, and constantly malfunctions. Never pay by the hour because you’ll spend most of that time waiting for the ball to be returned as it spends relentless at the end of the lane. Also watch what you’re being charged for. The staff clearly will steal your money so after my recent experience I will not be returning to this establishment. Paid for several games and it was confirmed by the young lady however, some scrawny man cane over and was dishonest from the beginning. This man tried to tell me that games are per bowler and not the usual 10 frames. It didn’t even make sense, but he tried to justify their error. If I clearly paid PER GAME that means a GAME = 10 frames x 3 = 30 not 3 players.

Very old school but nice! We always have fun here. Everyone’s friendly and pretty good prices during the day. Never crowded during the day - not sure about night times. A lot cheaper than the mainstream places. Food is decent and priced well - large drinks for $2 and they have burgers, fries, pretzels, etc. My only complaint is that every time we come here and play, the pins get messed up and don’t reset well and we have to come up to the front to have them reset the lane. It’s not a big complaint - they’re nice and reset it and usually give us a couple of minutes back but it happens every time. Sometimes it happens multiple times. Other than that we have fun here and have a good time!

Saw a review left earlier about a "16 year old kid" being rude and being called "a thug" so hilarious because that "thug" is NOT 16 he is obviously more mature than a drunk beligerent man that has nothing better to do on a Friday than harass people just doing their jobs. Being a league bowler who is here many days of the week I find it very offensive that this person that was throwing a childish temper tantrum would resort to calling this young man a 16 year old thug. He has more respect in his big toe than you do at probably twice his age. Get over yourself! Childish, disrespectful and you owe this young man an apology your attitude was offensive. Bless your heart

Sleepy bowling alley. Had plenty of open lanes on a late Saturday afternoon. Can’t usually find that at the new trendier spots. Had a bar and snack area. The security guards in the parking lot were friendly. The people working the desk were extremely helpful as well. Restroom was not dirty and plenty of available seating and bowling balls. Only complaint was that the bumpers didn’t properly work for the kids but the front desk people had a fix for that, all of us bowling got bumpers and we gladly accepted that small sacrifice for the kids(we really did need them too haha). I will definitely return if I am in the Fort Worth area again.

No shoes? Really? I have seen his place, though it’s been some years, completely packed and still have shoes. No table available near lane. Just a poorly managed bowling alley. People here sit wherever they feel and it isn’t maintained. Like I want to go have a family night with my kids and get into a fight with the rude people here. Oh and then to get food, you just have to check yourself. No over the intercom no bringing it to your table. Just wait forever have a miserable time and then leave everyone waiting while you check multiple times to see if it’s ready. NEVER AGAIN

Nice place to bowl with a family atmosphere and friendly staff. The only problem they have is with the ball return process. We played two games and each game had at least 20 to 15 minutes of stoppage as we waited for the ball to be returned. There were a few times that the ball was never returned so the staff nicely put us on a new lane. Only to have the same problems happen. Lanes 34, 34 and 45 are troublesome. The staff gave us extra time but it was still a frustrating trip. The owner needs to figure these issues out ASAP.

  • TheDentDad

The conditions of the lanes were decent. They were setting up for a tournament the next day so there was a lot of hustle and bustle. If the prices weren’t so high, I would consider returning but, it was $37 for two of us to bowl 3 games. I don’t think I’ve ever paid that much. If everything was brand new, I could understand but, the scoring system was in need of some serious updating and you can barely even tell who’s turn it is. We also had a dead lane that took nearly 10 minutes to address.

Place is ok, had a good time. However the bowling balls were oily, possibly from previous users who after their meal failed to properly clean/wash hands before handling the bowling balls; they kept slipping from my hands. Bathrooms were decent, didn't consume the food so I cannot relate to other comments. They have a small arcade with old school games (bring your quarters or dollar bills), a few were out of order but no big deal. Will definitely return as they have great prices.

  • blaine matlock

Used their pro shop to buy a new hooking ball and spare ball. Sohn is amazing at his worked and spent a couple of hours with me tweaking them to perfection. The lanes are in good shape, oiled well, and return the balls reliably. They also didn't create any hints of gouges in either ball which can be a problem in many places. The staff were all extremely friendly, the food was great and the prices were all very reasonable. This is a place I'll be going back to over and over

  • Kendrick Williams

This was us at a family gathering for bowling. First photo: my queen and I; second photo: sister and nephew; third photo: mother and Cliff; fourth photo, Jasen; fifth photo: oldest sister and nephew; and last photo: sister and her boyfriend, Jasen. We bowled for a few hours in some lanes while the place was congested because some tournaments were already occurring. My only complaint would be that the bumpers to help my nephew didn't come up. Other than that, great time!

  • AUDRY WIEGREF

Went to a birthday party and was very disappointed. They put us in a room that was filthy and smelled like sewage. The bathroom in the room was unbearable. We asked to speak to the manager twice before she finally came and was immediately rude. She admitted that the room was not clean and that they had a sewage issue but said it was not a health issue and she didn't see a problem. Couldn't believe we were spoke to in the manner she spoke to us. She clearly did not care

First time stopping by since before the pandemic. This is a classic bowling alley. The front desk staff was awesome and super helpful. We had a large group and they accommodated us from beginning to end. There was one bartender and she was absolutely great. If you want to experience a bowling alley as they were meant to be designed come here. Hands down one of a kind. We will always choose Cityview when we want to bowl. Keep up the good work! Thank you all!

  • David Stewart

I had alot of fun! I love old school bowling allies. I hate to say this but a couple of the customer service people seemed a little annoyed to even be there. Like they were in a bad mood. I get it though cause I work in a stressful food service job and I can be that way too at times but experiencing that from the customer's perspective was a little off putting especially on my birthday! No biggie though really, I just thought I'd pass that on.

  • Tra'Landa Branch

I called, last month, about reserving lanes, and was told no one had booked my date, my info would be sent to a manager, and they’d call me. I heard nothing for about 2 weeks. I called back and was told the day was still available, but I still had to wait for a manager. I called, today, only to be told they’re all booked and can’t do anything for me; not even an apology, just a condescending jerk. Unprofessional and extremely disrespectful.

  • Stephanie Whitaker

We had fun but for the amount of money I spent for 1 game wasn't worth it. The lane kept having issues on the 3rd bowler. The first few tries it kept resetting after each bowl, not each frame. It didn't count pins correctly and it took an hour to do one game because I had to stop after each frame to correct something. Clean place. Didn't buy food or drinks since I paid as much as I did for a very frustrating bowling game.

  • Molly Burton

Great place! Occasionally come here for a couple hours of family fun to beat the heat. This Friday we we came and unexpectedly my three year old threw up all over himself! One of the staff, a nice older lady supplied us with a really nice clean shirt for him to wear to the car at no charge! Truly friendly and caring staff! There are probably fancier and newer places available but Cityview Lanes has won me over!

  • B Ward Jr

Although they made an effort to update they came in with sub standard panels, and are not keeping the lanes as well as they should. The food here is mediocre at best and the staff are fine from time to time but when things go wrong (it happens alot) they will just infuriate you and make matters worst. Customer service is not a priority here. Only plus is the pro shop is very knowledgeable and won't oversell.

  • EightBitRG

The staff were very kind, they know their consistent bowlers by name and they do a good job on maintaining all of the lanes. The system is a little but old, but it works pretty well! Past that they have a bunch of lanes so you don't have to wait, and the bowling shoes they give out are high quality and Velcro on instead of thelanes, which helps with getting them on quicker to start your game!

  • Kevin P

Had our company Christmas party here. We rented the party room, 5 lanes, and ordered the BBQ package. We were not disappointed! The BBQ Brisket was AMAZING! Customer service was great, and we were not disappointed at all. As a matter of fact, several employees said that this was the best Christmas party to date. Thank you Cityview! Pricing was affordable, and we will be coming back!

  • Beatriz

It was ok. Food not good at all, pizza was hard and no toppings, cheese and everything slide right off as soon as you lift it up. Our alley was not working properly. Pins would not come down when needed. I guess you get for the price they offer which was cheap. I would go back bit to bowl only no food for sure because of how bad it was.

  • Abdu Sharaf

Service was horrible, waited 15 minutes for front desk person to come out of the back room, got put on one lane and it didn’t work then on next lane didn’t work. Need to talk to rusty about a refund, $40 for one hour and two people absolutely ridiculous just for both lanes not to work and all of our time and money wasted.

  • Deidre Ann

The bowling was fun. Lanes in good shape. However, the bartender lady was rude and had to take a break every 10 minutes and when she did serve someone it was after a 20-30 minute wait with one 2-3 people in line. I will not go back there with my friends. There has to be a better place to bowl and have a good time.

  • Tana Beth Cagle

The experience of being there was great! The cleanliness of the lanes and area for bowlers was great; however, the other areas were filthy and need a good scrub down. Walls nasty looking, carpet needed vacuuming, counters were dirty and I had to clean my sitting area before I even sorta felt safe to set & enjoy.

  • S Butler

Showed up to rent a lane for an hour to test out a new ball. The internet line was damaged so they could not accept credit card, the atm was down as well. I went to get cash out of the atm which took no more than 20 minutes. I was then told they were not able to give me a lane for another 20-30 minutes.

  • Shortie Wilson

We Enjoyed ourselves.... the only problem was that the Cafe was out of stuff and Closed EARLY. Also I was shorted 5.00 from when we split the lane and shoe rentals. But the young lady that cashier when we paid was Awesome!!!! So if I could just get my change back or a free lane I'll be Good!! Thanks

  • Rene Franklin (TravelGirl)

This is a reasonably priced bowling spot. My family and myself have been going here for years. It’s a little outdated but still a nice, family friendly place. The bar is decent and the food is okay. I would suggest to eat and drink before somewhere else but if not, they have the option available.

  • Jess Moss

It was cool until I went up to the concession stand. I said excuse me to the lady up there, because she was on her phone. She didn't respond so I stood there making subtle noises just to get her attention, she finally rudely asked what I want. Other than her rudeness the bowling was fun.

  • Judy Castleberry

My sons love to bowl and I just love being around my sons. This was my first time here, it was clean, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We were socially spaced out also which was comforting to me. I really enjoyed myself and I will definitely go again.

  • Elizabeth Goines

Our first time here. We drove across town just to go bowling. We were in a lane and balls kept hanging up. Moved to another lane and same thing. Tables are not numbered and no one knows were to sit. Not given any extra time on time lost. Very disappointed in service.

  • Charles Vernters Jr.

Nice place with 64 lanes, so there's PLENTY of room! They upkeep the lanes, but the approach can cause you to stick. The snack bar is BEHIND THE TIMES with the variety of selection. I mean 15 years behind! Still a nice place to bowl. This was my 1st time here.

  • Anthony Brown

It was nice-but busy (it was Friday night). It was also a bit pricey, having a higher price for the busy hour. Everyone there was really nice, except the lady bartender. She was very rude. I won't buy a drink there again, which means I'll probably not return.

  • Kendra Mixon

My best friend and I took his daughter bowling she well we all three had a blast! The prices cant be beat. Hands down the cheapest around. They are a little outdated but everything works well. So no issues. We will be going back regularly for sure!!!

  • Kendra Payne

Paid for 1 hour, only bowled about 25 mins. Balls kept getting stuck. Staff seemed annoyed. Had no socks to purchase as they sold out, would be something watched in inventory. Also, small selection of ball sizes. I do not recommend this place.

  • baker H

Very clean and orderly, spacious place. Lanes are fast and we'll maintained, polished. The selection of loaner balls is a bit scarce, few to choose from. Shoes are nice, seems a bit higher for shoe rental $4. Overall do again. Great location.

  • Nijall Boykin

They must put some sort of oil on the approach that makes it EXTREMELY slippery. I’ve been bowling for over 10 years and haven’t had this issue once. First time bowling here and I couldn’t even finish my series. On top of the super slippery

  • David Imus

This bowling alley employed 16 year old thugs. I made a comment to my coworkers about how lazy the employee was (had every right) and he ended up cussing me out on the bowling alley floor. I couldn’t believe it until I found out this kids

  • matt shaw

Every pool stick in the place was badly damaged. The bartender was passing up a lot of money for the establishment. You guys need someone that has a tad bit more energy. I watched several people get frustrated and walk away from the bar.

  • Kelli Barnes

First time at this bowling alley, and I would recommend it. Took the kids and they had a blast. Facility is clean, prices are affordable, and staff was friendly. We didn't purchase any food from the cafe area, so I can't comment on that.

  • Michael Stuhlman

This place is in horrible condition. They did not have enough shoes to go around even those there were plenty of open lanes. We had an issue with our score board not wanting to work so they fixed by coming over and beating on the unit

  • Joe Burnes

Went on a late Saturday evening. Music could barely be heard on our end because speakers only work on the left side. I brought my own ball which there machines would never return because they had way too much oil on the lanes. Even

Absolutely beautifully well maintained and surest bowling facility. We have bowl tournaments there numerous times and always been pleased with the quality of the facility. They are also very accommodating to meetings of leagues and

  • topgunna 88

My first time here and I really enjoyed myself. Lanes really do handle my balls very well( bowling balls). Outside has some landscaping issues but inside is where it counts. Nice bar area and pro shop. Will be coming here again.

  • Riley Wantz

Main event who? If you just want to bowl without lines, don’t mind no kick butt party lights and a more limited snack bar - this place is great. Very clean, no wait even on a Saturday night. Pin resets are crazy fast too!

  • Luis Lara

I've been going to City View for years, at first it had a small mom and pop feel. Usually that's good, but not in a bowling alley. They've really stepped up their game! The place is modernized and the staff is great!

  • Charles “Tazlien”

Food isn't bad, lanes are great. Staff is super friendly, and prices are reasonable! Great place to go have fun all around! Add to that, the great pro-shop, pair of pool tables in the bar, and arcade games to boot!

  • Norma Vargas

Good place for fun. The lady bartender is very very slow. She can't multi tasks like most bartenders can so you will wait for a long time. I think they need to consider that when your bowling timer is ticking away.

  • Nathaly Quintanilla

Been coming to this place for a good while and have noticed each time how grumpy the bar lady can be. Each time its a remark being made or sounding sarcastic, i enjoy coming here but that is kind of ruining it.

  • Isabel Garcia

Bad management, rude employees that want to start drama. Who hires people who assault a customer? This place is ghetto as hell. If that's your vibe, go for it. But I certainly am never coming back.

  • John Shawesome

They help a lot if you have lane issues. Will sometimes give extra time if you paid for the hour if you have multiple issues. Don't recommend balls over 14 lbs. Has caused many issues in the past.

  • KD Albarez

It’s old and out dated. The lane kept getting stuck over and over. No extra time was given. It cost just as much to rent the shoes as playing. The staff were slow and Not friendly. Won’t be back.

  • Kendall Borg

Place was clean, staff helpful and accommodating, and I will be back. Bar was great too! Did not try any food, but they did have a kitchen. Lanes were in good condition, and functioned properly!

  • Douglas Pentecost

I bowl in a league for older folks. We have a great time and the league is managed very nicely. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is in good shape. I really enjoy the bowling.

  • Julie Ritz

I was very disappointed with the equipment performance. We had many problems with ball return and bumpers. There were five bowlers and we didn’t even get to finish one full game in an hour!

  • Donna Davis

It's usually hot in there, sometimes the fans are on. The equipment and lanes need some serious help! We've had balls damaged, takes forever to get a sweep fixed, puns reset, full rack

  • Janine Sheckells

FOR THE PRO SHOP ONLY The young man at the pro shop on Saturday afternoon 12/19 was completely disinterested in helping me. He offered no assistance sizing the holes in my 2

  • Wyatt Gray

Good league bowling. Very nice staff but it takes forever to get your food. Not sure if it's lack of staff or something else. I think prices are good and a solid bartender.

  • JR Peters

Had fun, but the lane was dry. I started to run to the lane half way down, my shoe would stop on a dime. Other then that I would give them a 5 star. The service was great.

  • Sheena Jones (Sheena)

Great family fun. Only problem was they had 1 older woman working the concessions and the bar. She did an amazing job even tipped her. But she was being ran ragged.

  • K N

This business deserves a stop anytime you want to bowl. They have helpful staff, nice equipment, and also support fwisd special Olympics!!

  • K B

The lanes were fine but the older lady that was selling the food customer service was terrible. Besides her everyone else was great.

  • Zachary Payne

Been coming here for years they're making new improvements and it really helps out and overall just a great place to come bowl.

  • Amber Sloas

Great family place. They serve beer and liquor. The line was long when we got there on a Saturday night but there was no wait.

  • Zari K

I like this place! Friendly staff, this place isn’t a noisy arcade with extra distracting things. A real bowling alley!

  • Darwin D Pitts II

I wish they had a person rate instead of the hour rate at night. Me and the wife paid more than expected to go bowling

  • Carl Martinez

hadn't been here in years don't know why I hadn't it was so much fun and the place was clean and people were so nice.

  • Doug Gardow

Traditional bowling alley with an excellent pro shop. It is super clean and no smoking so it's great for families.

  • Valerie Stilwell

For how much we were charged, the experience was awful! Changed lanes and still had issues. Lipstick on a pig!

  • Wanda Green

Bowled the Senior Tournament and surprisingly enough the lanes weren't bad & the staff was very courteous.

  • Justin Prestwood

We had a memorial service here. Service was great but the room we had was lacking AC thus the four stars

  • Greg Toney

Great tournament! The cafe was under-staffed but still managed to get great food out quickly! Kudos!!

  • Sean Keller

I want to thank Cityview Lanes for hosting the SYC. The facility was great and the staff was amazing.

  • Danielle Williams

Not bad. Needs a upgrade badly. There seems to always be a problem with the lane and ball return.

  • Joe Brewer

Very clean. Lanes were perfect and oiled. I'm hoping to go to the pro shop soon

  • Quinton Boldon

Good, affordable family environment.. will definitely continue to go back..
