"Good off leash Dog park"
"Lovely dog park"
"We found this wonderful place when we moved to Mount Martha a month ago and attend most days, our dog has mastered the obstacle course now and there is a ball fairy who fills baskets for us to throw to our pooches, a lovely touch"
"Ideal all-weather leash-free dog park"
"Great park, its huge compared to a lot of other off leash parks in the area"
Good off leash Dog park. Has a couple of drinking areas for the dogs. Across from a kids playground and the art gallery. It's medium sized. Really needs to be seperated into 2 spaced thou one for small dogs and one for big dogs. The owners can be more aggressive than the dogs. Had a lady tell me off because all the dogs were scared of my great dane (9 months old) he was only playing with them, not aggressively. I leashed my boy and we watched the dogs play. 15 min later angry lady had to put her medium dog on a lead and drag him out for harrassing the smaller dogs. My dog was eventually allowed to play and had a great time. Even ran into another Great dane.
Lovely dog park. Big enough and interesting enough (re landscspe) to keep every kind of dog busy. Plus people have left tables and chairs about so that owners can sit and chat with a cuppa if needed. The park is generally kept clean, well mowed, and there's water to drink (for humans and dogs), plus no problem with parking. Also overlooked by a kiddy play park, and a duck lake. My dog and I love it here.
We found this wonderful place when we moved to Mount Martha a month ago and attend most days, our dog has mastered the obstacle course now and there is a ball fairy who fills baskets for us to throw to our pooches, a lovely touch. There was nothing like this in Sydney, they could learn a thing or two from the local council here! Thank you!!
Ideal all-weather leash-free dog park. The dogs love it. Undulating, lightly treed, water available, seating for less active owners, pleasant surrounds, toilets available short walk away (& coffee)!! Beware the irresponsible owners who are not attentive when their dogs run having fun in packs, and other people get bowled over.
Great park, its huge compared to a lot of other off leash parks in the area. Heaps of big trees, so plenty of shade. It's like the doggy wonderland for any doggy who doesn't live on a massive farm! Plenty of water taps with bowls, plenty of park benches to the humans to have a seat. I highly recommend this park.
Beautiful walk beside saltmarsh landscape set mostly amongst trees on meandering wooden boardwalk paths. Use insect repellent before the walk and you should be ok. The mosquitos were plentiful and persistent even in late August. Dogs allowed on leash and buggy friendly
Good dog park except too many people don't clean up after their dogs. There is a man who goes there regularly, with a young woman generally, and walks a bunch of dogs (5 or 6) and never picks up their doggy messes. Very frustrating.
Best off leash dog park in area, happy dogs, happy play unfortunately there are still the scum bag dog owners that deliberately don’t pick up their dog’s poo but overall the council do a great job of keeping this park clean & tidy.
My dog loves it. Could be better if some people, mostly men, didn't treat it as a place to take their dog to pooh and not pick up after them. Fines should apply in park as well to deter such behaviour
Always a good vibe at this place. Coming from a more open park previously, the more dense nature, varying levels of terrain with structures make this park very interesting and dogs will love it
Good space. A great fenced off area to take your pooch. The public leave plastic bags, in case you forget to bring one, for your dog's poo. Seating available, so you can have a rest too.
Good off leash area. Popular. Fully enclosed. Two drink taps and bins. Children's playground and a skate park and toilets at one entrance. Also public BBQ.
Looks really nice. I've never actually been as I don't have a dog but google in all it's glory continually asks me to review it. So 5 stars... I guess.
Always good generally no problems l always go around 9 am only problem not enough people pickup after theirs dogs ( poo)other than that all good
Plenty of parking. Water for dogs. A few hills for the active dog. It is a pity that Council doesnt empty the rubbush bin at the south end
A nice dog park with a natural feel, trees, seating and a nice view of the lake in parts. Not huge but plenty of room to run & explore.
My fur baby loves this park. Just watch out for the land mines. Please for the love of God people - PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOGS!!! …
Great place for dogs and their owners. However watch out where you walk as some owners don't pick up their pets droppings.
Always plenty of dogs for your pup to play with. Large area to walk around in, water fountains for the animals as well.
Dogs run happy , owners always find someone to have a chat with. Great place next to big ponds with plenty of birds
We LOVE this dog park! Very well designed with lots of different areas for all dogs to play & explore.
Such a fabulous park for the dogs. Very well fenced and great to let them off the leash for a run.
Great leash free for dogs seats for humans and water for both and a hill to run up and down
Too many dogs at one time and mixing large wild dogs with little puppies just doesn't work.
Absolutely beautiful food, service, facilities, location. All around great place to go.
Nice big park for did to run around in. Great people and nice community at this park.
Be careful of the occasional mud puddle at the far end, but otherwise lovely park
A great place to visit with your dog. A nice play area for kids and picnic tables
Great to have a place for our dog to run free and socialise with other dogs
