Scammers. Unprofessional. Con Artists. I had a used rack installed. Pat was the mechanic that did the work. After he put the rack in, one of my control arms were damaged. Also , before he installed the rack, i asked if there was any way to be sure the rack would work before he put it in. He said it looks fine. The next day he called me to come pick it up, once i get there he started saying i should not have put a used rack in. I should have never done that. 3 days later the power steering reservoir is empty. I have been trying to contact him. NO ANSWER. Before, the phone was picked up before the 4th ring when i call. The other mechanic answered the first time and i relayed the message. He said Pat wasn't there and to call back. Ever since, no answer!!!! Don't trust this business!!!

I rated this auto repair shop thats located 3009 Washington Ave. New Orleans La 70125 a 1-Star rating due to price galging this establishment practice. The mechanic is very nice intil he gets your vehicle keys in there possession. I visited there store that was attached I would not recommend this establishment to my followers nor family and friends. I visited there Food Mart and the cashier was very rude and unprofessional to myself and also customer that was before me. I ask another customer that had the same problem with the cashier which I found out his name is Omar! Enough is enough! I recommend all my family and friends to not patronize there Food Mart or Mechanic Shop intill they realize without there customers there business would not survive!

I had a leaking brake cylinder and the mechanic was right on my van! He put it on the rack immediately! He replaced the faulty brake cylinder and a leaking brake line! He allowed me the opportunity to observe his work, troubleshooting as well as the repair! After replacement of the faulty parts, he bled the line and I was ready to go! He was very fair when it came time to pay my bill. I recommend Claiborne Auto Repair for anyone needing brake work!

Pat is a great mechanic and an even better person! He is friendly and knowledgeable and will be straightforward with you about the repairs needed. He isn't the type of mechanic to try to make a lot of money off of you. He actually saved me a lot of money not only on labor, but also on parts. I am new to New Orleans and I can say that Claiborne Auto repair is where I will be going from now on for all of my automotive needs as long as I am here!

We are tourist travelling through on a road trip and one of our shocks blew out. Pat helped us out and was honest and knowledgeable. He kept in communication with us through the day to update us and he squeezed us in to get the job done same day so we could keep on our road trip. Really glad we found this shop to work on our truck!

Replace A/C compressor, working well. Bad part, I paid the 693.00 at the store next door and not only did that clear my bank but the auto shop has a hold of another 693.00 on my bank account that is supposed to clear in a few days, that's 7 days from original charge.

Ali is the man. I needed a new throttle body and drove in one afternoon. It took him only 30 minutes from when I pulled in and the price was really good. He then helped me with a dragging bumper for free. Highly recommend if you need any auto repair in New Orleans.

Fantastic service, the master mechanic is Pat Longo. This gentleman was honest( explained what needed to be done now) and what I could wait on. I shopped his prices with 3 other shops and he was the lowest. The only kids I saw at the shop were changing tires.

This guy has no customer service skill at all. The place has children doing auto work while the suppose to be mechanic runs around the shop with his head cut off. Don't bother wasting your time here. Nothing professional about this place by far.

These guys were able to get us in the day of to change my starter. They were super nice, up front with the quote, and got my car back the day of!!! I will definitely be back for my next car issue!!

Im not from the area, traveling from Michigan, and started having car troubles. The guy helping us was very friendly, genuine, and helped us quickly. Also not expensive! Definitely recommend.
