After bringing in my vehicle for a simple diagnostic and qoute, I recieved the call with how much the repair would cost. I was not prepared to pay "an unknown amount for labour" so I said hold off on the repair as I will come pick it up and take it elsewrtel for a second opinion. To my suprise when I got there I had a bill of 110$. 50$ diagnostic fee and that's fair. However the issue was very broad. I was pointed to multiple oil spots on the ground saying "those are from your truck" and in-order to fix many things needed to be replaced. Now I'm a heavy mechanic by trade so I know my way around an engine. (Just don't have the space to repair at home) so I Infact know the issue did not involve multiple systems. Second to that, after telling them to hold off on the work they went ahead and replaced my headlight... And charged me 55$.... A god dam headlight that anyone could replace on their own. Plug and play in the parking lot of Canadian Tire!. Unacceptable and poor business. After confronting then about this the mechanic proceeded to tell me how much work he put into finding the problem in hopes to justify his actions. I can Infact tell you his hands were nowhere near the engine as nothing was moved (dust/dirt was untouched on places that would have to be touched in order to see the problem) New ownership since January. Place has gone downhill would never return!

Buyer beware....I bought a battery on June 2, 2012 from this place. They sold me the wrong battery. I didn't know it at the time but I need a venting battery because my cars battery is in the trunk. I also need a higher CCU (I think it's called) than what these people sold me. I was charged $130 for this battery, then a $15 install fee and it's now November 2013 and I've had to buy a new battery, thankfully I'm getting educated on what I need. I called this company and was told they only warranty for one year, then a percentage is given back, this is not what I was told when I made the purchase. I can get 30% back. Seriously? This is not right by any means, the battery they sold me is about $70 elsewhere (I've since learned), I was able to buy the proper battery with the side vents for $130 with installation. If you buy anything from this company, get it in writing as they are not good to their word and shop around, without a doubt you will find not only better service, you'll find better prices. This response from owner 6 days ago (4 years after I posted this review) is not correct, the issue was never resolved! And to not reply for 4 years, well that speaks for itself.

0/10 DO NOT GO HERE. Seriously it was that bad. It took them more than 3 weeks to diagnose my vehicle and the problem the whole time was exactly what I told them it was! My belt was getting stuck and after a full price belt change, them changing parts of my pulleys without asking me first or confirming pricing with me, and telling me I needed a new battery when I didnt, they almost let me drive away with the problem still there and still charged me full price for the new pulley change despite moments ago assuring me my vehicle was fine. Fast forward 4 months later and the "brand new" belt they put in has snapped and the pulley they assured me was free spinning was totally locked up. If I could give them less stars I would. Please please please save your money and dont get scammed by this stereotypical scamming mechanic. Do not get serviced here. I may be a rare case but the horrible experience was one of the most expensive mistakes I have ever made!

I got a thorough explanation of the problem found with my F150 & didn't have to pay an arm & a leg! It is my 2nd visit, & I am going to return for all my auto needs. I drive for a living & this company is helping me save money on my truck. Friendly, convenient, no beating round the bush, they go the extra mile to make sure they find the best value for your dollar. I am very impressed and telling all my friends and family that here is a place you can trust!!

My Uncle had gone to his Dealership to get a quote on some repairs to his Austin Mini. He then came to Classified Auto and was given a much better quote for the same work. He said they did a great job and even suggested some of the work could be done later. I went there to get a synthetic oil change and he told me he would do it right away. He also took a look underneath and told me there was a rear shock that was leaking. His prices are very reasonable and I will definitely be going back to get additional work done. Much cheaper than the Dealership.

Small independent shop but versatile, thorough, reliable and have always kept within their estimates. Not afraid to tell me "it's not worth spending the money!" They've always honored their guarantee and they always do good work. I have three old vehicles that do a plenty of miles in a year and I've found Mike's pricing and service consistently better than Canadian Tire or my local auto dealership. It's worth my time and effort to drive to the south side for reliable and honest service whenever possible.

My family has gone to classified for all of our auto repair needs for years and I have nothing but good things to say. I admittedly do not know a lot about cars, and I appreciate the transparency that I always experience. Things are clearly explained and they take the time to show me exactly what they are working on. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone needed vehicle repair or maintenance.

Brought my car in for brakes but was aware my front end was feeling off. The mechanic self assessed the issues without me asking and brought me to the back to have a look at the specific things he was referring to. The parts were brought in right away, and all issues were fixed at a very fair price. The whole ordeal felt very honest, which is what I appreciate most when seeking an auto mechanic.

Had a great experience here after running around to different mechanics for two weeks. No one could figure out the part number for a specific hose I had a leak in. The gentleman here took one look for me on the weekend and he knew right away, this Monday I brought it in and he had it fixed for me in under an hour. Will be coming here again if I ever need more repairs.

This was not a big facility. But the service was great and the main highlight was the owner’s (Ashok) honesty. He will let you know what is wrong in the vehicle and also recommend what items need immediate attention and what can be attended later. He will take you in and show you actually what’s going on under your vehicle. Prices were very reasonable too.

A cohort of mine recommended me to ashok and I just had my high pressure steering hose done on my Mazda today I must say they did a really good job and I was able to pick it up before I went to work.
