Regarding Clove’s new ‘all you can eat' buffet experience, I note the following: Firstly, your impression of an all you can eat restaurant … you can throw it out the window at Clove. Who would think there are terms and conditions to an ‘all you can eat’? When you’re first seated, you’re told you can only choose three entrée’s and only two mains. Upon clarification, this meant it was not ‘all you can eat’, rather it was all you can eat of the three entrée’s and two mains. Don’t get too excited, you must also finish your entire plate before being allowed to reorder. To put this into perspective, I had one potato left on my plate and I was told I had to eat it, or no other meals would come out. Now when you have done the dishwashers job of cleaning the plates, you are fortunate enough to get new plates. However, don’t think you’re going to get new cutlery. Yes, you must use the same cutlery with a fresh plate … I would recommend Clove to reconsider the wording displayed on their signage out the front as some may be led to believe they are entering an all you can eat experience . The food was acceptable for a local Indian restaurant; however, the experience was further ruined by the insensitive waitress who maintained a permanent sarcastic demeanour throughout the night. Thank-you for a rather unforgettable night.

The service was the nly extraordinary thing at this place . We ordered entre plater ,the plate was hot but the actual entre was cold . Orders malai chap as second entre it has more onions than actual chap. The bread were nice and soft . Ordered Sam savera which was good something unique that you would not get at every Indian restaurant here in Melbourne,however it was overly salty . The paneer handi we have ordered was full of onions and there were very few paneer I thing they should have name it as onion handi rather than Paneer .You can't run restaurant like home saving money on paneer adding more onions and those onions were very big chunks and uncooked. This restaurant should be named Onions rather than it's actual name

I have been coming to Clove regularly over the last couple of months. The flavours of the food are refreshing, and caters to any palate, from those new to Indian cuisine, as well as for those who are seasoned spice hunters. Serving portions are deceivingly filling, and everything we've had form the menu has been a winner. The flavours you find as you consume the food is a wonderful experience to behold, and is washed down well with a trusty glass (or jug) of mango lassi, which is also a necessity. In regard to pricing, Clove maintain a competitive price point for their food in comparison to other Indian restaurants in the area, and in my opinion, is good value for money. I look forward to attending Clove for the coming years; it is a gem of an Indian restaurant, and I look forward to continuing to be a patron for many years to come.

My family and I are regulars at this restaurant as our favourite cuisine is Indian . My husband wrote an awesome review years back, but I feel it just isn’t enough! We do get takeaway but mainly always eat in! The all you can eat non veg banquet is amazing! The food is so tasty, fresh and always worth the money you spend there. One reason we always go back $ ! Αnother main reason I wanted to post a review is to say the staff there are always so friendly, welcoming and on the ball with anything you need. Thanks to all the waitresses who are also so incredible with my two baby boys! They loved the smile on there beef korma the other night! You guys are fantastic! Overall top restaurant! I’ll never go to any other Indian restaurant within the state!

If I could give this place zero, I might have done that. Just a request if you really don’t know how to cook please close the restaurant rather than running a scam business. Whenever I see an Indian restaurant I get so excited to try there food but this place has traumatised me to go to any Indian restaurant I will see in the street next time. Never have tasted such an awful food and service “don’t even ask me”. The worst experience I ever had. Sorry to say, this but because of restaurant like yours people want to avoid going to restaurant. Change your chef or cook whoever it it, if you really want your business to keep going. We go to Clove quite often. They have comfort food to serve. Never get disappointed wherever we dine in with them. They have a big menu to choose from. We like the ambiance and the service. It is a must try. The prices are reasonable with quality food.

Absolutely delicious food and great service...always! I have been to this place twice, and can vouch for their amazing food. Certainly the best place to get Indian food in this area! Service is equally good, and they make you feel comfortable. Perfect score for starters, mains & desserts! Can't find any fault. Serving size is good for curries. We ordered paan and Kesar pista kulfi in desserts and both were amazing! Just a minor improvement can be done by increasing the serving size of Kulfi(Desserts). Will definitely come back and happy to recommend!

We went there for lunch when it wasn’t busy, I reckon we were the only ones there maybe that’s the reason the food we ordered came quickly, sadly the waitress was not only arrogant but was also carless, food was barely average, chicken malai tikka wasn’t edible as it wasn’t only undercooked but was also not fresh, when we gave that feedback to the waitress, her response was “it’s ok”, lol. Two other gravies items and naans which we ordered were ok. I’ll post some photos.

We've been here three or four times, and were happy every time. The food is authentic North Indian. Unlike other Indian restaurants, they do *not* use nuts in their preparation of basic pastes used for preparing food. So if you are allergic to nuts, this is *the* place to visit. Nights are busy. Weekend afternoons are okay. Rates are okay. Service is fast and the food excellent. Go for the $10 jug of Lime and Lemon bitter! Goes excellent with the food and good value. The veg and non-veg platter in the starters is excellent.

I ordered the Lamb rogan Josh and I was quite disappointed in the quality of the meat, it was really dry and tough.. For a dish that cost $23 (not including rice) it definitely wasn’t worth it. I was a little hesitant in paying a total $33 for everything but thought if its a good dish then $$ is no problem but in the end it wasn’t. The cheesy garlic naan was great and the Customer service was amazing!!

This has been our regular Indian restaurant for the past 5 years but they lost a loyal customer tonight. After buying the same family pack for 2 for years, they have not only reduced what is included but also increased the price by $5. While I understand that prices increase and if the pack remained the same it would not be an issue as I know they have not increased prices for years but to also reduce the contents shows they do not care about their customers. Plenty of other local places to try.

My experience with Clove Chill and Grill was pathetic today. Firstly the order took more than couple of hours for home delivery. Secondly I ordered 2 chicken briyanis, where in the second one I literally had to search for chicken and finally found two tiny pieces and that's it. Happy to share the video if restaurant demands. Unfortunately I will think twice or thrice before ordering here going forward.

THE SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY IS COMPLETELY OUTSTANDING!!!! Quality is almost too short of a word for this amazing restaurant! The cuisine is out of this world and the portions are impeccable. The food was certainly lovely and filling, the spice level adjusted to our liking. The ladies serving were friendly and lovely, and made deciding from their large vegetarian range much easier (they also have a large meaty range). We had the mixed (served sizzling hot) vegetarian entree to share, chose a curry each to share and with the generous serving of rice were certainly full. Would recommend Clove and will definitely go back.

We booked at Clove Chill & Grill for a birthday lunch with the family on Sunday 15th Nov. It was a fabulous experience from the word go as we were greeted with polite welcoming smiles, seated at an exclusive table, attended to with warm personalised service throughout. The food that came was totally awesome, beyond our expectations...each dish was cooked to perfection. Ticked every box for us. Five stars no question. Well done guys! You made our day ...will be back for sure.

Never been here before, apparently its their 7 year anniversary today, partner and I ordered a few dishes, tandoori mushrooms, onion bhaji, tandoori meat platter, coconut rice and....a butter chicken masala? Anyways, absolutely amazing.... oh, breads too. Argh too much to write. The food was amazing, you'll love it here. Definitely will be returning. Big thanks to our waitress for amazing service. Placed the take away and got told to pick up in 45 min . Arrived there and waited , waited and just waited for nearly an hour to find out staff coming to me and asking for my order and wake always saying another 10 min . At the end just walked out with no food in my hand and went to priya restaurant to place new order and pick up . Please respect peoples time and be honest if you can’t deliver food in time . The bread items are pretty awesome..the curries are allright..they are bit into innovating the traditional items and reinventing them..I give them all the points for that..the menu is well designed and are a bit different...this restaurant is good for aussie crowd and it is really indian food, reinvented. Dont really like the girls serving the food and taking the orders..she puts on this big accent and felt she is a bit pretentious...

I have interstate guests staying with me. I wanted to give them a real authentic treat on their last night here. I ordered Clove takeaway. The rest was history. They delivered the food to where they don't normally deliver! After the food arrived, we had a feast. As we lifted the container lids, the food presented itself so beautifully. The aroma, was so enticing. The flavour? To die for!!! Thanks Clove Team. Keep up the great work.

My son Ordered takeaway through DoorDash. Ordered Tandoori Chicken amongst other dishes. Tandoori chicken was horrible. The meat was not only dry but cold and hard without much seasoning. The side salads was very soggy. It appears a cancelled order or something cooked previously was reheated and sent to us.

Delicious. The serving sizes were perfect, curry, jug of lemon lime and bitters with a side of naan - the perfect amount of food - not leaving you feeling too overloaded. Appropriately priced with kind and efficient service. The atmosphere was soothing, I found the background music to be at the perfect volume to have an intimate conversation. Very flavoursome food!

I am working as uber delivery driver in this area and today i got delivery from this restaurant. I think the welcome, attention and willingness to please and make customers happy is very well handled by the staff over here.I loved this place. They give the best customer service. Moreover there is huge selection of mouthwatering Indian and International food.

Not sure why so many bad comments, as I think the food is good quality and the flavours are good. I usually have the food delivered and get the beef vindaloo, lamb rogan josh with onion bhaji, sheesh kebab and butter naan bread. I didn't enjoy the Korma curry but that was just my taste buds nothing to do with the cooking as I had never had Korma before.

Would highly recommend! Every single time myself and my partner go here, we receive above and beyond service as well as great quality food. Mid week all you can eat is a great deal, and more so when the food is excellent. However service was at times very poor. One waitress kept walking past us and ignoring us. Long waits to be served, so that can be improved. Otherwise recommended as long as you're not in a hurry.

This place makes great food but to pay on average $20-$25 per main meal and only receive maybe 5-7 pieces of meat in a container should completely put anyone off from coming to a restaurant again. My mother in law called to explain this to them and got the response “this is a standard serving size”, for 1 person? Not good enough.

Just ordered Lamb Rogan Josh via Uber Eats, lamb - meat wasn't tender, hardly Any meat, more like soup (questionable whether it was lamb at all, tasted more like beef), very spicy, no vegetables, very disappointed, threw the rest in the bin, being a local new to the area expected a much better experience.very disappointed

We had a all you can eat on week day. The spread was decent and enough options in the menu with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Can’t complain the pleasing staff and they made the experience really good. The naan and curry were to the right amount of spices. May be a little bit of wait for the food to arrive.

It was referred by my friend and I tried them and they kept in amusing with the taste. Really happy with the taste of the dishes and they are really good at service. The owner who takes the order and the girl who delivers the orders. Both are very patient when taking orders. It’s a good one in the area to visit.

Food here is really good. Must try is lamb chops, malai tikka Chicken Punjabi and mother of all is the Paan kulfi( must must must try). Chef Mukul, Prabh and Mamta were absolutely amazing and superb duper hospitable. Do try, you won't be disappointed. Three cheers to Clove chill grill.

Great restaurant with finger licking food and marvellous service. Their sham savera veg kebab is worth trying. These guys made our evening with the taste and quality of food. Will surely be visiting again…!!!

We order Gobhi Manchuria, kofta and kashmiri Naan. All these items were really good and fresh. Thanks Clove. But only thing is we pay per item average $16+ but the quantity is not that much compared to other restaurants. So if you can add little quantity this will be great restaurant.

Exceptional food, amazing staff, fantastic ambience. traditional Indian cuisine from mild to intense heat, there is a dish to satisfy everyone's taste buds, whether you eat in or take away, you will be going back for more, and you will tell all your friends about them, I know I do.

The beef Korma is superb. It is also nicely decorated inside and the staff are very friendly. My favorite Indian restaurant in the western suburbs.

We have been ordering take away from here never been disappointed with the entrees. Even some mains are good, but biryani is an average. Quantity is just right one. 24/12/2020 First time did a dine-in, ordered Sheekh Kabab, Punjabi Chicken with Roti taste was really good.

Had the Mutter Mushrooms and was delicious. The mushrooms was fresh and peas was still green. Unlike some places where you find the peas brown because it's been sitting in the curry for hours.

Punjabi style butter chicken is the best I have tried!! I have been ordering from clove chill and grill taylors hill for a few years, and they have never disappointed. Definitely worth a try.

Poor quality food. Ordered a goat biriyani and it had Zero meat in it. Ordered a chicken tikka masala which was full of bell pepper than chicken. The good reviews are really misleading.
