I wanna give it more stars, like 5 for day drinking. Bailed out of work after lunch once and went drinking with my friend and we found that place. Cool vibe, great prices and spot on with drinks. Fast forward and dropped by with my best female friend/P.I.C., and yeah, we like the place being that I'm a downtowner & she says she's one also (by association) but I kinda prefer the 'little local hole in the wall' bar feel to it as opposed to it becoming a packed club at night. That's usually mid-week to the weekend, and it's too damned small for that. I mean really, do you *need* a dj spinning like it was a full blown club with multi-level dance floors? My first studio apartment was bigger than this place. If it was me, I'd keep it cozy. But hey, that's just one guy's opinion. And yeah, yeah, yeah. I know: everybody's got an opinion and I know what you're gonna say about it. But MY opinion is bigger and harrier than yours, so back up. Don't get me wrong, I really dig Sirius and I'm glad they didn't let some fire in there shut them down completely. I just prefer a little bar feel to the place.

We came in from out of town for a work trip with VERY little spending money, but nonetheless wanted to check out Downtown San Antonio while we had the chance. We quickly realized that though the River Walk is gorgeous- it’s not designed for those of us on a serious budget. So we started to walk back, feeling defeated, about to grab a 6 pack and go back to the hotel, when we came across Club Sirius- the great dog. Booooy did they hook us up! (AND there happened to be an adorable Weimaraner at the door) Cheap beers, SOOO many shots, our wonderful bartender even let us sample their blended tequila- which we ultimately bought and was fantastic. All together, 3 of us left feeling awesome for less than $40. We would have paid that much per-person at any of the bars on the river! I loved this bar. Next time we’re in town, we’re definitely coming back here. PS: TOTALLY keep allowing the dog. She’s the best door-man you could have!

I tried this place out for the first time and it will be the last time. Had the worst experience ever. My boyfriend and I met up with some friends. My friend asked me to help her to the restroom. The minute I closed the door to the restroom, there was this hard banging on the door and some lady yelling for us to get out as I said we were in there. This lady banged the door again yelling saying we need to get out and go somewhere else. Mind you we are customers not homeless people! We had been at this bar for almost an hour with one drink. As I open the door to see what is going on. There is this crazy bartender yelling at me telling me to leave as if I did something horribly wrong. Since when does going to the restroom to help a friend become a crime! Talk about paranoid bartender ..she may have had some terrible experiences In her lifetime to react how she did. Nightmare!!!! DO NOT RECEOMMEND THIS BAR TO ANYONE!!! BEWARE!

I wish I could give this bar less than a star. I was here last night with my boyfriend. We walked and went straight to the bar and stood there for about 15/20mins trying to order a shot and beers. There were 2 bar tenders, not ONE of them paid us any attention. Not even a “hey, I’ll be right with you”. Zero mention of us possibly being in the wrong area of ordering drinks. They continued to serve people at the opposite side of the bar. We got so fed up after the bartender danced right passed taking other people’s order as they just walked in. We will never be back. RUDE AF!

5 stars absolutely one the best bars intown. They make sure they take care of their high rollers breaking 100s by giving them change for a 5 dollar bill, while asking for the cheapest drink they have. I went downtown with all hundreds, yall did this to me three times. Watch out for them, they are shady and lie.she threw the cash in my face after acting like she took it out the register and was fondeling with her purse. I got up and left w o picking up the cash. Watch ur drinks . I've seen people try to slip stuff in other couples drinks. Stay safe ppl.

Amazing local club right off the Riverwalk. Great to see them back open, safe and clean, masks are required. Staff is great, Bartenders are top notch, all packaged up in a great little cozy spot. They have upgraded the menu to include to-go mixed beverage items, and a new line of adult coffee creamers so dubbed " Sirius Boozy Creamers " If you are on the Riverwalk and need a nice place to unwind with some locals, this is the place!!! Highly recommended.

Whether you just want a quick drink or you feel like doing a night out in good ole downtown San Antonio this place is great! Right in the smack of downtown, great place to wind down and have some drinks. Also a great spot to bring a date and show off what downtown has to offer. Juke box can be controlled directly from your phone. They have great drinks and great shots for whatever your in the mood for! I strongly recommend this place.

It's a bar in the middle of downtown. So it's very convenient if you're going to go bar hopping downtown. The only downside is that it's a shoebox. There's not very much space. It's more of a place you stop in to do day drinking and then move on to the next place. Or you do a couple of shots at night and head down to the river walk for sight seeing.

Nice little hole in the wall. Very small tho, like the music they play. Bartenders are slow, probably need more on staff then they need to so every one can be attended. Im going 50/50 on this one because there are usually fights here and the whole bar tends to join in on the fight. Last fight bottles and glassware were being thrown.

Had one drink and was asked to leave after 30 minutes and not told why. I don’t appreciate the treatment I received. Edit to specify, the bartender on duty was Amanda- I wish Amanda had a more secure sense of self and appropriate sense of customer aptitude. If you’re a female beware of this bar

Very bad experience my girlfriend went to the restroom with her friend to help her out and they did not allow that and ran us out of the bar with profanity and ugliness! Very unprofessional never will go there again and do not recommend this to any customer. Bad managment & worst experience!

Love the service. Great specials for being Downtown. Awesome watering hole in downtown San Antonio! Some of the fastest bartenders in San Antonio. Judy was my bartender at the time and her speed and awesomeness was a gem! Definitely a must while passing thru.

Its a small bar, not alot of room to move around in, but they have a jukebox so you can play your favorite songs to improve the atmosphere, especially if you're with friends. I believe they have a DJ on weekends at night but again, it could get crowded quick.

This place is extremely small. The description says cozy bar/lounge, but there are like 4-5 seats. The pictures make it look way bigger than what it is. Not sure why it’s called “club” sirius.

Tiny bar. Like, a bar and a 3'x3' dancefloor. Atmosphere was a little strange but the drinks were cheap and good. We moved on to another bar. If i was a local i might frequent here more often

As a street patron. I thought this place would be a crazy Harry Potter Dive bar. "Club Sirius" (the great Dog) You need to re-brand. You will have way more traffic. #harrypottersanantonio

They have great music and large variety of shots and drinks at decent prices. Main downfall is its super small and gets crowded quickly. Easy to get to downtown especially in Uber.
