✨This is an amazing food store✨ We visited here last week to check turkey prices and were very impressed with the price and quality of the meat section. The turkey prices were the best bar none and they had prime rib roasts for the best price I have seen in a long time. Other shoppers had also done their homework and were taking advantage of the great beef and turkey prices and stocking up. The Co-op has a great look to it's store which has a really good vibe going. The assortment was very very good with all the pork and chicken as well. Fantastic selection of dry goods as well. We found some different pastas that we just can't wait to try. Several different brand names with a great deal of local producers and businesses being supported. We are defiantly shopping ️ more here. We grabbed a Co-op number and are now members to share in the cooperative Update: I visited the car wash and gas bar the other day and was very impressed with the touchless car wash system and the Turtle Wax shine my vehicles got. This is a gem in the rough. My new go to for Gas, Car Wash and Grocery !!!!

Two weeks before D-Day, I called Janet (the bakery lady) to check on the price for the cake and cupcakes. Then a week later, I placed my order via phone and recnfm the price but she CHANGED the price HIGHER! and she said that last week she was busy so she gave me a wrong price. And I still placed my order via phone anyway and also sent an email as a confirmation. A week later (on D-Day) I picked up the custom cake and 2 dozen of cupcakes. On the cashier I realized that the price has CHANGED HIGHER AGAIN for both cupcakes and the cake! She keep changing the price for 2x! So I did confronted her and asked why the price changed again upon the pick up time? She said this is a good price that she gave me that I wont get this price from other store. Not only that one time she did this to me. It happened before that too (for a couple times). But I just accepted whatever price she charged me as I dont want to argue or making a big deal abt this. However, she did it again. This is so not acceptable! No more Coop Chappelle bakery. Very not professional!

UPDATE: I've decided to drop my review by two stars because of the butcher. He doesn't listen to what we ask for. I sent my husband to get a 2lbs roast and the butcher cut him a 2.5lbs roast- which is fine. All while making unnecessary comments that a 2lbs roast is so small. I looked at the roast and knew it was so much larger than 2.5lbs. Weighed it - it's 4lbs. Please get a new butcher your current butcher chooses to "know best" and he absolutely doesn't. Absolutely fantastic and love the cashiers! Produce is always fresh and delicious. My only complaint is with the new butcher. I'm assuming they have a new butcher because we never had an issue with meat until recently. Too much fat is left on cuts where there should be no to little fat and the beef tenderloin cuts have been atrocious lately - too thick, too large, and he's very confused when we ask for a specific size. I grew up on a cattle farm so I know a bit about good cuts... If it wasn't for the one small inconvenience I would've given 5 stars.

Best Co-op in Edmonton hands down!!! The meat department guys are amazing. If you don't see a product your looking for they go in the back to try find it. But nothing tops the cashiers! One older native woman is super friendly and another Older blonde lady always have great talks and make you smile. Super clean and they display the fruit and veggies amazing. The deli has great selection and love the have a sushi person on site to make it fresh. Weekly deals so you feel good about shopping there. Keep up the amazing work! And I always give them my business. Ps the meat department guy taller with black hat is super friendly and always try chat when we see him...best meat and presentation in Edmonton

Staff are very friendly. They work together to accomplish customer enquiries and requests. Very professional. I needed Veggie Dogs for my diet to fit my calorie deficit and intake. And even though they had none left, they went above and beyond to make sure I did have at least 1 pack. They checked the back for me and found that the last ones were being used for the BBQ, so they went out, got me a pack, was on ice and as fresh as morning dew. The veggie dogs were delicious. If you live in the area and have not been, I highly and strongly recommend shopping here, even if it is for a few things here and there. Great prices, excellent staff and perfect customer service.

Shout out to Janet in the bakery department. I had ordered cakes for my baby's birthday. One was the birthday cake and the other one was the sheet cake. Janet nailed both of the cakes. We loved them. All my guest asked where the cakes were from. The cakes were not very sweet and that is what we liked. For the birthday cake we gave her the design and she made the exact copy of what I showed her. For the sheet cake I was unable to go down to the store and placed my order over the phone. I just mentioned I would like flowers on the cake. She did a wonderful job with the sheet cake as well. All my future cake orders are going to be made at Co-op Chappell bakery.

This is a really nice store. Upon entering the store you find it well lit and clean. There is lots of room to move around. The arrangement of the store is well presented and flows nice. My wife and I enjoyed the shopping experience here would return again. There are washroom facilities available here if needed. There is ample parking available. The produce is fresh looking and appealing. The prices are reasonable and there is lots of stock available. The rest of the store is pleasant to shop. There is a pharmacy in the store also. There is also a Co-op liquor store and gas station ⛽️ here.

I give my previous experience at this store 2 stars. I was in on this past Saturday and the staff was rude and condescending when asking about product, that they claimed to be sold out of. The product was not advertised in the cooler with the sale price, and they had no idea when they would be getting the product in. The lady working at the Customer Service desk/fast lane checkout, was short and rude when asked if rain checks were still a thing. This has been a bit of the norm at this particular location with many, not all, of their staff and also keeping product in stock when there's a sale.

If Coop appreciates kindness and empathy then LOUELLA - who's an attendant should be rewarded. I was moved to tears yesterday when I needed to buy some groceries and I had lost both of my cards. This lady paid for my groceries. Little acts of kindness makes the world a better place. I hope she seems this review. Louella, the world needs more people like you and I am mo than grateful, you shall be blessed on all sides. If anyone sees this review and visits coop Chappelle, pls ask after Louella and say a big "thank you" to her on my behalf. Thank you Louella. Your helpers shall not be few.

A pleasant surprise! Store is well stocked, clean, spacious and staff is helpful and friendly. Impressed with the abundance and variety of items available (shelves look to be stocked regularly). Store is well layed out, and the isles are wide enough that you aren't bumping in to other shoppers. Impressed with on site butcher, bakery, pharmacy and deli. Appreciate the option to order online to pick up at a specified time. Also impressed with the variety of gluten-free options! When shopping here, you get the small town feel (with exceptional customer service) in the city.

I had ordered my daughter's cupcake cake and was on really short notice. The lady did notify me that they need minimum 24 hr notice but upon requesting that its for my daughter's school, the lady at the bakery was so cooperating, she not only took my request and helped but was really compassionate and took my daughter's request for green icing. I was expecting cupcakes put togethet with green icing all over but when we looked at it, she had taken extra effort Nd made it look really pretty too!! Thank you so much for making my daughters day!!

I always have a great experience shopping at this Co-op. Staff are always friendly and very helpful. Today I was super grateful with how helpful Noreen at Pharmacy was. I asked them multiple questions that did not even relate to the medication I was picking and they took the time to answer what they could and what they didn't have an answer for, they looked up so they could help me. They were super approachable and spoke to me in such a kind tone. As someone who tends to worry a lot, I was super calm after Noreen answered my questions.

i bought jerky for my child and it was expired and i can smell it is rotten. now my child is sick. and i went back there and talked to manager. they didnt apologize first time and just try to refund. she said it is manufacture problem, and you should check expiry date before feed child. sounds like it is my fault. expired food is not manufacture problem either. i will talk to head office about terrible customer service. and thx for store gift card refund. manager Leanna

I had to get a last minute birthday cake, and being a Sunday at noon, was worried they might be out of birthday cakes. No need to worry though! They were fully stocked with tons of beautiful cakes and the woman who helped me was AMAZING. She was patient (there were a lot of options to go though lol), kind and seemed to love her job. She put the finishing touches on the chosen cake in under 5 minutes and my daughter is so happy! Thank you for the excellent service!

Big shout out to the bakery department. I had a design of a cake I wanted done for a baby shower. I first approached the grocery store chain that I had worked for for over 16 years at a Bc. Location. The store here said that they couldn’t do it for me at much shock to myself . Co-op is close to our new house and they said they could do it for me absolutely no problem. Not only did it look great but also tasted delicious. Thanks once again for your great service.

The bakery deserves a shoutout! Discovered this and absolutely loved it. The number of positive feedbacks caught my attention. The range of options and customization was easy. Thank you to Pamela, who helped us so much even at the busiest times, and also to Janet, who made the fresh, delicious and beautiful cake. Super amazing place to shop! My wife and I have been to a few of the other grocery stores in the area and this store is by far the best. Staff members are very helpful and super friendly. I’ve also found that the prices here are a little bit cheaper than the other stores in the area. We’ve also dealt with the pharmacy staff and they’re super helpful and very kind. We’ll definitely continue to shop here!

Amazing store. Very clean and great food and bakery. The store always smells like fresh bakery and its displays and make you want to enjoy all they have. They have a lot of original items. Its definitely a must if your in the area and I suggest walk through the whole store they have alotnof good items. I am adding some pics of the bakery just because it is worth noting.

The bakery, local food selection, and the sale price items are great. However, multiple times the fruit or vegetables I’ve bought from this store have molded quickly. The front desk staff aren’t very hospitable. And more than once I’ve bought three pork chops and some were steaks! That’s fine for me (better value!) but if I didn’t eat beef I’d be VERY annoyed.

Very clean store with friendly staff. Usually quiet so your not bumping carts with someone on every isle. The butchers are excellent and will go out of there way to help you find the perfect cut of meat you want. Price's maybe higher then say superstore but the quality is much higher. Just Remeber to bring your own bags as they are plastic free now.

We love this store. It's clean and pleasant and the intercom plays "singing in the rain" whenever the veggies get misted. The staff always take care not to cross contaminate my celiac wife when she gets sandwich meat, and are sometimes successful. The butcher recognizes us and teaches me cool stuff about cooking meat. This is a great store.

Staff is awesome. No complaints on them at all. Managers Special was out of stock and I was not able to rain cheque it nor did they know if it would be continuing the next day, this was at the discretion of the store manager. It was not on the next day. Food is priced far too high. Profits are up and we know it. Stop price gauging us.

Just bought the 9 piece chicken from the deli, very dissatisfied it was old and very dry. We have bought these many times and have always been satisfied! Called the store to ask how long do they keep them in the heating case before they discard. The lady told me 3 hours. It tasted like it had been sitting there for longer than that.

I dont know that I have ever been to a store with such consistently friendly, competent, helpful staff. The store is clean and organized and convenient for us plus they have fun promotions. There are cheaper stores but I havent had any problem with the quality of product at this store. And the service is consistently great.

The staff at checkouts are always friendly and outgoing. The product and meat I find to be very good. Only thing, sadly selection of those pantry items are pretty scarce with different brands. Regular priced items can be hit and miss in terms of value. But when sales are on co-op doesn’t disappoint that is for sure.

Purchased cheese that was bad. Contacted the store the next day. Sent pictures and a copy of my receipt. They need to email too many ppl in their company to get approval for a refund of $5. Why? This seems pretty simple to me. I will not be back. This was a week ago. I’ve never heard of such absurd policies.

Fantastic store, wonderful layout. The extensive bakery is definitely a nice feature, the cut to order meat department, the ready to cook meals and selection overall makes this grocery store a 5 out of 5. The staff are very friendly and attentive, I'm so glad to have this addition to my neighborhood.

Generally their regular prices are higher compared to other stores, but have also found some good deals here. What keeps me coming back are the very helpful and friendly staff that work here! They also have a nice candy section with a great selection of products that you don't see in most stores.

I ordered a birthday cake for my friend. Pamela (will confirm name and edit later) went above and beyond to make sure i was satisfied. I am truly grateful to her. Everyone was asking for more. The store is so neat. They have a beautiful collection of greeting cards. I will be buying again.

I like this store. Decent selection, nice staff. I sometimes have trouble finding certain items there that safe-way will carry,but their Bucher area is great. Guys working there are awesome. Very knowledgeable, and the quality is great. 5 star for the Bucher. 4 star for the whole store

Most aspects of the store are really good, but the quality of seafood and meat cuts has been unreliable, especially on pickup orders over the last few months. We have had to throw out some burger and seafood as soon as we opened the package of late, which is unfortunate.

Went there on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. The place is clean and everything stocks up nicely. I'm really impressed with the customer services. The staffs are very friendly and helpful and I'll definitely visit again even though it's a bit drive from my home.

The butchers at coop are second to none. Extremely friendly and willing to take the time to educate and give suggestions where needed. The quality of the meats are also great. I highly recommend the farmed Atlantic Salmon. Best chain store bought option in the city!

A great grocery store with fresh produce and a full service meat counter. If you are on the go this grocery store stocks a full service deli plus a soup bar, sushi counter and the famous Co-op Fried Chicken. The store has a great selection of organic items too.

What makes this place amazing is how underutilized it is. Brand new store, and I feel like I have it all to myself every time I'm in there. It is always si clean. Employees are always so helpful. Amazing priduce section, deli and meats and bakery as well.

False advertising!! We enjoyed going to the Co-op due to the selection and great dry aged ribeyes. They do have a tendency to advertise items in their flyers as being on sale then when you look around and ask for assistance we are told that

I rather enjoy this grocery store and drive out of my way to go to it. It has a nice layout, the shelves are always stocked nicely and has very friendly staff. Plus, it’s not very busy whenever I go and never have to wait in long lines.

Excellent selection. Top quality produce and bakery. They have an awesome candy and pop shop with candy and pop from all over. I found a Rowdy Roddy Piper bubble gum drink with a quote from his best movie "They Live". How cool is that!

The quality of the meat in this store is some of the best in the city and the service from Atikur was incredible. He took time to cut some fresh ribeyes and explain a little of each cut. Atikur is top notch.

The only reason we used co op was for full service gas pumps. It brought the small town home feel. Always tip your gas attendant. I hope they choose to reverse this choice. I'm going to miss my attendant.
