I have been dealing with Jim, both personally and professionally for over 10 years. The service has always been professional, friendly and helpful. When my 20 year old son had an accident in Oshawa last December I contacted Jim who helped me connect with the claims centre who immediately jumped into action to arrange a tow truck and locate a repair centre. Being so far away from the accident was nerve wracking but Cooperators took care of all the details and made sure my son was safe and that vehicle got repaired in a timely fashion. Every interaction with Jim, his staff and the claims centre left me with feeling that they really cared. Bravo Jim, you really have a great team and your service couldn’t be better. On the professional side I am a mortgage agent and Jim and Cooperators are the only company I ever refer clients to. His professionalism reflects well on me and I get nothing but compliments from the dozens of clients that I referred to Jim. Like me, my clients are thrilled with Jim and his team and fabulous service he delivers.

In a crowded world of Insurance Brokers James(Jim) Rafferty stands out from the pack. He will take time to answer all your questions and get you the product you need. I would definitely use his services again and refer him to friends and colleagues. There was a bit of an issue with the Co-operators database that he had to use to submit my application, but he took the extra time necessary to fix the problem. He does more than sell you insurance; Jim will answer your on-going questions about your policy and future planning. Definitely the kind of peace of mind you want when you are planning for your family's future well-being.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. Over the course of one week, I had to deal with three different people, received a quote followed by a phone call from a very unprofessional and rude woman who told me that the previous agent Robert didn't do his job properly and the quote has changed to almost double the original one. In my 60 years old and I have never dealt with such chaotic and unprofessional place. Needless to say, I would not recommend them to anyone. If they can't get such simple task straight, can you imagine how they would handle the actual claim?!

Agree with the previous review, rude and unprofessional service. No willingness to help existing customers, one employee gives you wrong information and the next agent tells you the opposite.We were bounced from one person to another. Yet we have been diligently paying our fees for years. I will be switching companies after the latest conversation with one of your agents.

Although you can probably find cheaper insurance, staff at the Rafferty Agency are tough to beat for their professionalism, responsiveness and personal touch. Highly recommended!

Do not use this company. They gave me the run around trying to switch providers. Took 4 people on the phone before they would actually let me cancel my coverage. I did my full term and they ended up still charging me $300. No one has been able to help me get this reimbursed. Do yourself a favour and go else where.
