Love love love this local pub. Great in the winter when you want to hunker down for a pint and some great food. Speaking of which - the food here is unbelievable! Their menu is fairly sophisticate especially for a little pub - from mussels to cheese plates, burgers to escargot. I'm not much for snails but their pork chop is hands down one the best meals I've had - and I've had it there many times. Their food is consistent without fail. The beer list has a great range of local, craft and old standards. Finally the staff is friendly and fun. Totally a great place!

One of the few proper pubs in the true sense of the word. A consummate neighborhood restaurant; friendly and welcoming, affordable, and better than it has to be in every way. The bartender is attentive, charming, intelligent and attractive. The drinks are strong and well made. Great beer and wine selections and a rotating menu you could enjoy every day of the week.

The food here is great! The French Dip sandwich is the best! Get extra creamy horseradish, you will thank me later! I've only been here to eat, but the bar has a homey feel and there seems to be a lot of regulars. You can also order some of the menu on Caviar if you dont like leaving your house

Great dive bar/pub with reasonably priced, great quality food. Got the clam noodles with red sauce and it was delicious. Staff is super nice and atmosphere is great for chill hangouts.

Absolutely wonderful dive. The food is fresh gourmet chef quality and the kitchen is open until midnight! This place reminds me of the guest houses in Germany. It's a very intimate venue. Far from generic. The Cock and Bull is a hidden gem that I will always revisit!

I never leave reviews, but I just had an amazing meal. I ordered the mussels using Door Dash. They came piping hot and tasted amazing. The portion was huge compared to what I expected. I would have easily paid twice as much as what they charged. Fantastic!

Words cannot describe how amazing the food here is. I have been fantasizing about that meal for weeks now. Had to take my kids because the power was out, and they loved their meals, too. Great atmosphere, great drinks, great food. Will go again!

Amazing neighborhood dive. They have good food, my favorite being the gyro sandwich. They've got plenty of different beers to choose on tap and very friendly staff to serve it. It's a nice corner to escape the world for a bit.

Our server, Bertie, was excellent-on the ball and quick to bring our food and refills. The food was amazing, even for my very picky son who ordered the Kobe hotdog w/chili. Great drink selection. Will definitely come again.

One of the best kept secrets in Dallas and easily the best spot to eat on the East side. Try the blue cheese burger and mussels. The brunch is also phenomenal- Cadillac breakfast sandwich is a go-to.

Had the Blue Bull Burger with roasted redskin potato wedges... The burger was GREAT! Really liked the potato option and was skeptical, but they pulled it off admirably. I'll get a pic next time.

Classic dive bar where the bartenders and regulars know each other. The food is also excellent! The cheese plate is my favorite. I might be able to survive on nothing but the Prairie Breeze.

We go here for date night. The dive bar atmosphere is deceiving. The food is consistently excellent. The ladies, Christina and Vanessa are fantastic. And I love that there is a juke box.
