What a terrible shame that this practice has been sold to a new GP who does not care to communicate to her patients. Having an appointment to see her, and then have her not turn up for it, is not professional nor satisfactory. Having to sit outside the locked up clinic during opening hours waiting for her to arrive for my appointment, and getting no phone call from her or her receptionist is NOT acceptable. Having her laugh it off as a big joke when you finally get to see her, and not always on the date of your appointment, is disgraceful. The online booking system is of no use. You cannot get hold of them via phone. The Facebook page is not updated to give good correspondence to patients. We have since changed to a reliable GP and have tried to get our files transferred across since January 2022 and are still waiting here in May 2022. A very big shame for a community of a reliable doctor .

I appreciate the area needs a local family doctor and was happy so far with the service. And yes I can understand the good reviews (actually requested by the practice to all it's facebook members). BUT the good doctor has refused to help me with a simple letter stating that he had not seen my son recently, that I required for a Travel Insurance claim. Apparently he wants me to make an appointment with my son to come in a discuss, which wouldn't be such a hard thing if I didn't work full time and he was closed by the time I get home. My whole family have been regular visitors to the clinic since it opened, but apparently looking after your clients needs is not something they consider. I have a substantial medical claim that I'm now not sure how to continue :(. Hopefully the insurance company will be more understanding.

I was the Drs biggest supporter until today. I put up with hardly ever getting an appointment due to the clinics short hours & I work full time. I felt he was through and left no stone unturned. However after explaining initially that I was looking for a new dr and a run down of my medical issues. I had discovered I needed extended referrals. Not only did he lack the compassion usually shown o was told to see my regular GP which was in my mind him after seeing him nearly every fortnight over the last 6 or so months this is how I was treated. I am so hurt & disgusted that I turned to you for help and this is the result

There hasn't been a Dr here since my kids all adults now in their 30s were at Primary School. The town really needed it. And how wonderful to have such an amazing Doctor. He is so kind, caring and listens to everything you say. Your not rushed and he makes you feel special, he really does care for each of his patients. He takes all your worries away. He's been fantastic with my elderly Mum. My kids and my grandkids too. He has excellent staff that welcome you when you walk through the door. Thank you Dr Ramesh for coming to our little town. X

Dr. Yapa is knowledgeable and exceptionally talented. He’s kind and cares for his patients. I’ve been going to where ever he works in the past 5 years as it’s literally impossible to find a replacement for him. I had really bad experiences with a few other GPs, but Dr Yapa has never disappointed me. When you talk to him for a couple of minutes, about 50% of your issues are already resolved and you start to feel better! Highly recommend him. I must also mention about the staff at this practice - they are the friendliest and the best!

Really disappointing. I rang to confirm the clinic was running on time 35 minutes before my appointment as I was short on time. I then drove 25 kilometres to get there during a break. I waited more than 15 minutes once I arrived then had to leave without actually seeing the doctor. So, 50 kilometres and 1 hour at my expense for no benefit. I don't have any doubt about the quality of the clinic, but when overbooking and profit is more important than meeting a commitment to a patient I am reluctant to return.

If only all doctors were like Dr. Ramesh. With old school values, of treating the patient and not just the disease. He is a doctor you can feel comfortable with while knowing you are in the best hands. Finding a good doctor is not easy. You have a wonderful bedside manner and nothing is ever too much trouble.Why anyone would go somewhere else is a mystery to me. I am so grateful you are in our town and provide us with such a first class service at a price that everyone can afford. Thank you

Staff& Dr. Yapa very friendly and polite. Walking in the clinic smiling staff. Nothing was too hard. Dr Yapa Not judgmental Dr. Or dismissive of my complain. Also never I made an appointment and it was 5 minutes and I was out of the doors. For then the next patient. As most often happens in lots medical clinics these days. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Rude, judgemental absolutely appalling.I have never been spoken to or treated like that from any doctor. I work in the health industry and this is not how you treat and talk to your patients let alone people in general. Might I suggest you read the signs you have plastered on your walls about how rudeness and unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated in your practice.

I am a long time resident of Cockatoo and was so pleased to finally have a local GP I could go to without having to travel to see someone, Dr Ramesh is kind and thorough, I find him easy to talk to and he follows up with a phone call if test results are ordered. I'd recommend him to prospective new residents, anything complex he has referred me to a Specialist.

Dr. Aruna is a wonderful, highly experienced doctor who looked after me with compassion and the utmost care. Dr Aruna Yapa had a very kind, caring energy about him that made me feel welcome, valued and at ease, and the reception staff were also very welcoming. It is also nice that it is a small clinic so I feel like the Dr and staff will know their patients more than if you go to a super clinic. I will certainly be going back.

I was in Intensive Care earlier this year. When I was discharged from the hospital it was Dr Ramesh who picked up on the early warning signs and sent me back to the hospital before I got worse. I can never thank him enough for what he has done for me. He is such a caring man.
