Been using this coin up for a little over 12 years, as it’s super close to the canal where i moor my boat sometimes. It’s a no nonsense launderettes, with effective and clean machines that are soft to your clothes, protecting them, yet industrious enough to actually wash them. There’s even a powder machine and a spinner Driers are also on point Overall a super economical and cheap place to wash the dirty out of your week! Also happens to be perhaps the most photogenic and authentic launderettes in the whole city, the signs that the management have up in the place look super old, maybe 60’s? Also a handy newsagents next door and an even handier pub up the street for them essential, wait-for-your-drawers-to-dry-beers, at half time.
Very pleasant small launderette. It was clean and the washers modern enough, though the dryers a little older (still perfectly good). There was a small book collection for passing the time which was very cute. Pricing as of review: small £5, medium £6, large £7, drying 50p for 5 min, 20p for powder Important: there is no change available onsite, the shop next door let me buy something to break notes. It's recommend bringing coins. Only £1 for the machines, 50p for the dryers, and 20p for the powder. No £2 coins here. Close to the canal, fairly priced, easy and clean. A good boater launderette.
Launderette had no one watching over it both times I’ve gone. Machines take 2 different types of coins and there’s no change machine so you have to go to the off-license next door for change. The off-license gave us their last pound coins so if we had come later we might have been screwed and not able to do our laundry. The launderette owner should really give the off-license a cut of profits because otherwise they’d be out of business. I wouldn’t mind the non-existent service if prices were cheaper than other launderettes, but they’re not.
I stared using this laundrette when my washing machine was being repaired Honestly, any excuse to come here now and I do. Really clean, always smells lovely, washing machines always work. The larger ones can do a weeks worth of clothes in one go. The shop next door are always happy to give change too. I come here to wash and dry all my bed sheets now. Very therapeutic. Highly recommend.
Used to be much cleaner. During my recent visit found the drawers had detergent buildup and mold groving. The machines, including their drawers, should be left open to dry. Among many printed requests there's no one to ask customers to leave the machines open and moreover the staff closes them when they close the laundrette at night.
With my local launderette so run down and dirty, took a bus to this and cannot praise it too much. Helpful, friendly, spic and span cleanliness a real jewel in the crown of launderettes. May it long continue. Home washing machine broken - but having found Coin-Op laundry am not bothered about getting it fixed soon.
Just come prepared with lots of coins. You can buy soap with 20-pence coins. The dryers work with 50-pence coins for each 7.5 minutes cycle. And the washing machine might accept any coin, I tried with 2 pounds and one pound. Overall, really good place with new machines and no wait time, at least for me.
Clean, cute, fast and quiet! (I mean what more can you want?) The washers have a lot of space for your clothes/sheets etc… For the driers make sure to have 50p or £1 coins. The guys from the off-licence shop next door were super nice as well! Definitely recommend!
Have never used a laundromat before, let alone in another country, but I'm really impressed. The owner is a lovely guy, the place is clean and quite pleasant, and the machines do a great wash. Highly recommend.
Visiting from the States and the hotel had no laundry facilities. Came on a Saturday night and there was no wait for a machine. Clean, easy to find location. £6 to wash and 50 pence for 7.5 minutes to dry.
Great experience of getting my clothes washed and tumble dried efficiently and quickly. I can enjoy and chill or read a book while I wait for my clothes to be dried. This is my new favourite place to be.
A good clean laundrette and each time i have been i find no waiting to use machines....Smaller are £5 And Larger £6 Dryer is 50p for 7 minutes and does at diff heat settings...
4, 5 and 6 pounds washing machines are available. And you also dry your laundry in the drying machine for 50p. Thanks to Coin Op for this convenience.
A quite excellent laundrette. Clean, well managed and with a wide range of machines. One of the best that I have used in the last 40 years.
I love this launderette, I’ve been using it for a while now and wanted to comment on the fantastic new machines and consistent cleanliness
Delightful, cosy and smells nice. This is a place of meditation and to cleanse the spirit and get rid of skid marks. 2 for 1!
Clean Launderette with good choice of NEW washing machines. Doors open nice and early from 6.30am, seven days a week.
Clean, great service, super friendly. I’m thinking of not replacing my broken washer dryer and just coming here.
This is my first coin-op laundry experience. To my surprise machines and the place overall are very clean.
Good facilities. A change machine would be very helpful - however the shop next door helped me out.
Good clean launderette at an affordable price as everywhere now seems super expensive.
Convenient coin-op launderette, with a cheerful and very helpful owner.
Clean, reasonable prices and no wait early in the morning.
Clean establishment and they were friendly and helpful!
The owner is very very nice and helpful.
Good value, clean, safe and has books!
Very friendly and helpful staff!
