I feel awful to have to say, I firmly believe pokemon cards are being weighed and/or tampered with at this location And I'm not suggesting this as a result of buyers remorse. I've been a frequent visitor at this location, I only purchase pokemon cards. They keep their sealed booster packs out in the aisles for customers to grab and select their packs as they deem fit. Now this is the first and ONLY location that I've ever visited that does this. If you visit any other card store, sealed single booster packs from booster boxes are always placed behind the counter with the register attendee. Unfortunately, every single time I've selected packs from these boxes, I've NEVER received more than 1 pull per purchase. This has not happened 1 time, or twice, or even 3x. And after each occasion when it happens, I tell myself I will only purchase sealed boxes from this location. However I refused to believe my trusted card store could be guilty of such wrongdoings, that I don't take my own advice, and make the mistake of selecting their single packs again. I just purchased 10 chilling reign booster packs, I received only. 1 holo rare pull. EVERY time I purchase single booster packs, and I ALWAYS purchase at least 8 packs, I always receivs no more than 1 pull which is always just a holo rare.... If this happened once, I'd say bad luck. But this is EVERY SINGLE TIME! it's upsetting spending around $50 per visit, and leaving with this outcome EVERY SINGLE TIME!! I FEEL DUPED!! If anyone sees this, I will be more than happy to speak to someone about my experiences. It's sad, but I do have to belive that either a worker is tampering the booster packs, or since the packs are accessible to customers, there are customers that are weighing and/or tampering with the product behind the workers backs. EDIT: boy do I feel attacked lol. Notice I did not make ANY direct accusation, hence my choice of words, and the attempt to suggest multiple possibilities like internal tampering or external. I was not accusing anyone directly, just merely sharing my experience which has been consistent for EVERY purchase and my personal suspicions. I suppose the main problem I have is the fact that the booster boxes with the seald single packs are displayed on the sales floor. Now whether or not you personally belive that's the best place to display pokemon single booster packs is merely just your opinion and not a fact that your choice is the best option. However, I promise you, you can visit every single trading card shop in jacksonville, and I can guarantee you will not find not ONE other retailer that displays their single packs the same as you do.... that's all I'm saying. Going by the fact that you had to do research on pokemon cards, and tampering and weighing etc, and the fact that your store focuses more on games like MTG and role play games and your employees have said to me many times that pokemon isn't really the stores focus, maybe there's a strong possibility, that You're not as knowledgeable on pokemon card sales as some of the other retailers. And again since not 1 other shop in jacksonville would EVER place their sealed single booster packs on the sales floor for customers to access, maybe just maybe your opinions and reasoning for their placement, isn't the most logical and knowledgeable one. That's all I'm saying. As a manager, there's no need to attact my credibility for sharing MY personal experience....

By far worst place I have been to hands down. Never attempt to do events here specially prerelease events. The employees do not communicate with one another at all. Tried to play in a prerelease came in earlier and asked if the event was still going on for today the lady said yes, I asked if we could pay early to guarantee my spot. I was told if you were already registered online that you have a spot and don’t have to pay ahead. I asked again are you sure and she reassured me yes you’re good. All lies went to the event 5 mins before it started and was told flat out sorry we only have enough for 8 people. I explained what I was told and the person that was working for the event “ Justin “ looked dumbfounded and like a deer in headlights. Tried to call the person who was working earlier and could tell a problem was rising. 10 mins later after a few phone calls supposedly done I was told sorry we could offer you a gift card. That’s just a spit in my face due to the fact I was in there earlier and was told I would be fine if I was on the list,, clearly not the case. Still the best part told me not to worry bout paying ahead. If you ever do decide to do a event make sure you pay in advance and don’t listen to the employees or else you won’t be able to play. I was told that they sent a email out a hour to a hour and 15 mins before the event on the app but I never got anything. Love all the run around.

Everything about my experience with this store and the event I attended was terrible. I drove 2 hours from Orlando along with 2 other friends to attend the Road to Nationals flesh and blood event. Upon our arrival we were told that the event was not classic constructed like advertised and was in fact draft which upset us but we drove 2 hours to go there so we played anyway. My friend Alex and I made top 8 (1st&2nd after top cut) which was awesome but we were told right before the top 8 draft that the store did not receive the promo kit. They received the promo kit and notified us about it a week after the event. They told my friend and I that they shipped it to us around a week later. However my issues arises in the fact that I haven't received my promos in the mail and they have failed to provide a tracking number for the $400+ in promos they owe me. I just find it hard to believe it takes 3 weeks+ to ship to Orlando. With all that said I would avoid this store. Edit: I appreciate the timely response I just fail to see why you would even lie about shipping them out, fortunately I received them today but the letter was stamped August 16th 2022 at 4pm

The staff have always been friendly and helpful. I appreciate having a nice local game store to visit, play and purchase role playing games and card games in a clean and friendly zero pressure customer environment. Not only can I brag about the store but having been there with customers who are excited about gaming and helping the community grow is a sign of a store that wants to be more than just a place to buy things. Regular activities both by the store and by customers are listed on their large activites board as well as listed on their social media to keep customers and potential customers in the know on events of interest greatly helps all. Thanks for being my local friendly game store.

Stopped into this game shop on a whim with a few of my friends and was blown away! The front of the store was loaded with a variety of games from WH40k, MTG, D&D, board games, and more. There were options to purchase new or used for several items in the store and even an option to rent board games to take home and play. The back half of the store is focused on playing your games with no fees for using the tables (be sure to call ahead to reserve a time!) The store manager was also super friendly and helpful, answering our questions and sharing the plethora of upcoming events. If you are looking for a place to call home for you and your fellow adventurers, look no further than FLGS!

We went in tonight and was greeted by a friendly clerk by the name of Taylor (or Tyler). He asked us if we've been in before and since we had not, he showed us around and asked what we were looking for. He provided great, friendly service and once we selected a mini figurine that was close to what I was looking for he continued his nice conversation. I didnt find exactly what my character was but he went above and beyond telling us about events and even looking up the figurine I wanted. It turns out it wont be released until August or September of this year. Thanks to Taylor (or Tyler) for the great service. We will be back again to support a great local gaming business.

This is an awesome game store that caters to board games and tabletop gaming such as Warhammer and other miniature type games. The selection is incredible with pre painted figures as well as preowned and new. They have terrain and painting accessories and even have painting demonstrations and other events for the community . The staff is friendly and accommodating. there's something for everybody. the prices are reasonable. they have a big room for people with several tables to play on that already have terrain and there's room for you to bring your own terrain .this place is a really cool store for the whole family to come and enjoy.

Was part of a warhammer 40k tournament today. Was a fun day, great opponents, great judges and well run... Sadly I can't give more than 2 stars for this because the terrain was just bad. We are talking barely enough terrain for 4 tables even though this was touted as up to 16 players. Instead they barely had enough decent terrain for 8 players and even then it was just rough. I played chaos knights and we live and die off of terrain to work around and this was... janky isn't even good enough. Great people, great fun, bad bad bad terrain

  • Tyler Johnson

I attended a warhammer 40k tournament here today, and the store has absolutely no good quality terrain left. I found out that all of the terrain that I had previously donated to the store(which included almost $100 worth of printed terrain) was sold by the owner at a flea market. The store also did not have appropriate objective markers for tournament play. A combination of these two factors made it extremely unfun to play in this tournament. What little terrain remains at the store is wholly unsuitable for competitive 40k

Not my favorite comic place to go I only go here when my main store sells out on new comics. They should think about hiring an extra staff member if they are going to take 15-20 minutes just to rate cards for ONE customer for him to possibly sell them or not. You are losing guaranteed business by making customer wait for no reason. I’m just trying to get my comics and go about my way I could care less on waiting for a card rating / sell. Very unprofessional for a comic book store.

I've been coming here for years, the staff is generally very friendly, and they have a lot of space for gaming, be it 40k, Magic or DnD. I dont play currently, because of the pandemic, but used to play DnD there once a month, and very much liked the store for that. Now for one negative, their prices. Many already expensive games and minis are priced above MSRP, making their prices the least competitive in town. Other than that, great store.

  • Brandon Look

I came to FLGS for their huge selection of minis, but now that it’s owned by CoC, they have replaced their massive wall of minis with Funko Pops. The employee behind the counter said they don’t have any intentions of continuing to stock all the Reaper minis. It’s still a nice place to nerd out, but they’ve gotten rid of the one thing that really made FLGS stand out for me. Now it’s just another run-of-the-mill collectibles spot.

I brought my son here today for the first time. It was his birthday and he wanted to pick out some new Pokémon cards and I wanted some Magic the Gathering cards so I can teach him how to play. I had not played in 15 years and Jake was super helpful. He answered all my questions and was very friendly with my son and I. I was also extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the store. Great store, great employees! We will be back!

  • Kenny Patts

Love to browse here, never any pressure. Also fun gaming scene for MTG and 40k. I have never played it there but there also seems to be a regular group for Battletech and for D&D there is always a game on. The staff are kind and personable. No table fees and flexibility about bringing in outside food/drink are the two things I would not have thought about beforehand but that I REALLY appreciate about this place.

  • Cameron Bulley

Super helpful staff that don't make you feel like you're wasting their time like some other local game stores I can mention. They also offer a really great trade in value for used dnd minis! Just traded in my old collection and had enough credit for 3 new table top books, two new sets of dice, and the newest dnd book. I am super happy with all aspects of my experience today.

  • Tina G

Great place for when I need dice or minis. They have a huge selection of minis and when I was there they offered to help me find one I was looking for, one guy on the computer searching, the other manually looking to find similar ones. Haven't utilized the paint stations or game space in the back yet, but I love the spooky designs that were up for halloween.

I’ve been coming to FLGS off and on since 2015. Hiring Brian has been the most positive change that has happened at this store. He has improved customer service, flow, product, and events. As a customer, I have always been welcomed by him and enjoyed our conversations. He has so much product knowledge and has inspired me to begin table top gaming again.

  • William Tanner

I've been to all of their locations and I am very fond of the oakleaf location. I've been to the Arlington location as well but I would say my favorite is Oakleaf. I have a good relationship with the staff and they're awesome! This one on roosevelt is very small compared to the others, but the selection was good but limited!

  • Ashley Sarroca

Fun little shop with friendly staff and a nice selection of board games, cards, and tabletop rpg figures/supplies to choose from. Was also having a clearance sale on a bunch of comics at the time as well. Also loved the fact that they showcased and highlighted a bunch of card/tabletop games designed by locals as well!

  • Shannon Stringfellow

Not only do they have a huge selection of mini figures from Warhammer, pathfinder, dungeon and dragons ect. But they had a decent amount of board games as well. The staff member was friendly and informative.this out of the way shop is a good place to stop by and look around maybe even buy a thing or two.

  • Renee Farris

We are on vacation from TN and stopped in to check out the store. Very clean with a great selection. Brian, the store manager, was very helpful and recommended some great games. We purchased several games which were reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again whenever we are in this area.

  • Ariana Loveday

This is one of the best local game stores I’ve been to. All the employees are welcoming and kind, and they always help with all the needs I have. There is wonderful communities for all the games. I’ll always enjoy coming here! There is no table fee, and it’s an awesome enjoyable environment.

  • Matthew McDade

Love, love, love this store! Staff are always friendly and helpful. I do have a question though. If I have something on layaway or reserved and I wanted to get the money back on what I have put on the product, how would I go about this if at all possible? Thanks in advance!

  • Kendra Dix

What an awesome place! Matthew was very helpful and didn’t make me feel bad for being a complete newb. It is well stocked with products, paints and a variety of different games. In the back they have a surprising spacious area for gaming. Highly recommend stopping in.

  • Preston Gerard

Free chairs and tables to enjoy gaming at your leisure, as well as snacks and beverages for sale. An array of the best board and card games known to man, plus expansions and accessories. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I wonderful place to spend time with friends!

  • Emma Nightshade

Love it here. My husband and I have been hanging out there, playing the games they have available to play in the store and enjoying watching others play their own games while having snacks. Highly recommend coming here if you want a cool place to chill.

  • Scott Lamb

Hands down the best store in town for all your D&D, table top, boardgame, and hobby needs. Staff is always friendly and helpful and have the best prices and collection of miniatures in town. Do yourself a favor and visit them, you wont be disappointed.

  • Josh Mahaffey

Currently my home away from home. They have a wide selection of games and miniatures, with plenty.of.space.in the back for playing said games and painting.miniatures or working on games. Prices are very reasonable, staff is incredibly courteous.

  • Michael Marbut

This is a neat little store great for people who play magic, D&D, War Hammer, Pokemon, or even board games. Half the store is books, games, game pieces and cards. The other half of the store are tables for play and painting figurines. They

Let's be real. I was there to play mtg commander with folks, and yes I bought cards. I'm not sure how this company stacks up to others of the same type, but it does seem to be a bit more organized than i expected. My only issue seems to be

  • lacey schmidt

Just left there. Went in to get a game, got to the front to check out and there was a kid sitting behind the counter zoned into cell phone. We stood there a few mins, less than 2 ft away from him as he ignored us. Finally I asked if there

  • Kris Bussey

Not a great experience. Products are fine, but the dude at the cashier was way out of line. I'm a female shopper and as I am checking out, I'm using the tap feature to pay for my things. He looks to my male friend and says how I just got

Edit: I no longer come here, as of today. Unfortunately, the mask mandate is enough to keep me from coming in. I really wish you would drop this mandate and join the rest of the state in making it optional. Our venue will, sadly, be

Awesome store to have nearby. It’s a haven for old and new folks alike. I’ve gotten some really good deals and they have remained my #1 source for my nerdy needs — even if that means just poppin’ by to see what’s new.

  • Dave Ambrose

Used to be a fun game shop. Not so much anymore. To answer the question posed by the owner in the response, it's not one specific thing. It seems like magic players aren't wanted at all. The young lady behind

Amazing staff.. Great pricing for cards..I can't wait to get cards up to play MTG... This is the only store I'll go to for my game, board, miniatures, cards, and etc... Thank you for an amazing experience.

  • William Watson

The carryover folks from Riverside location are decent enough but CoC will always have the problem of workers that don’t know what’s going on. Stuff not in my pull or the wrong stuff there. Frustrating.

  • Selena Cantu

They had a whole wall full of Funko pops and we got a mystery 3 pack for the cost of less then one and it was no not well known pops and one was even 30 dollars so it was a really good deal.

  • Isabella Jo

Had a great time, bought candle keep here when it first came out. Got into a pretty bad car accident after leaving but the store was so cool that it didnt spoil my opinion of this rad store.
