Atmosphere: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Price: 10/10 It is rare that I find a place that truly makes me feel like I am at home, and Andrew and Stacy always welcome me back as if a son coming home from a long journey. Besides their remarkable service, Collective has an enormous selection of craft beer that constantly surprises me each time I enter, especially on their rotating taps. If you are ever having trouble deciding, they are always willing to listen and direct you in the right area with their wealth of knowledge and expertise. Every dollar spent here is worth it. I will continue to come back and get growlers refilled, cans to go, and a good conversation with a friend. Thank you for always opening me up to new and different flavors whenever I'm in.

This has easily become my favorite place to purchase craft beer! The staff are friendly, super knowledgeable, and always eager to talk about all the various beers in stock, as well as make some awesome suggestions on new brews to try! The fact that everything sold is individual and not in packs makes it a breeze to try all the new stuff without breaking the bank. If you are looking for on tap, they also have an extensive 20 tap growler bar that imo is under priced over other stores within the city. Just an overall great place to shop!

Collective Craft is more than just a beer store, it's a great experience! A family owned and run business of super nice and knowledgable people. Some of the best, most unique stock you'll find and they are always bringing in new stuff from far and wide so every time you come through there's something new on tap or in the fridge (huge singles selection!!). Whatever type of beer you like or if you're looking to try something totally new they will have something for you. Definitely recommend checking out this shop!

Collective is an absolute gem for craft beer (and cider!) fans in south Calgary. They have a a wonderfully curated selection of interesting beers, including many local options. Having the store divided into beer styles makes selecting your own six-pack (or eight or ten pack...) a breeze. They are also very dog friendly (seriously, Collective is completely staffed by awesome dog people who will love on your pup hard!). The owners are pretty great, we are so happy to have Collective in our neighbourhood.

Love, love, love this place! A place like this was so needed in Calgary. The staff is super friendly, helpful and passionate about their business. The best thing is that you can either fill a growler or a can that they seal up for you on the site. The prices are more reasonable that J Webb's and Liquor Depot's growler bar, plus they have lots more beers to choose from. They also have a ton of single beers from all over the world in their fridges. It is a great concept and so fun to shop there!

This is a great place for beer lovers! They have a rotation of 16 taps, as well as a whole wall of chilled and individually sold cans and bottles of very unique and quirky finds!! I have enjoyed all the drinks I’ve gotten there! My partner got a 32oz can filled from their taps of a “Mead-jito” and it was soooo good!! It is a family run business, and they so knowledgeable and helpful! It is a truly unique place, with an amazingly friendly energy! I would highly recommend visiting!

Awesome concept(and selection) - many local, craft beers that are sold in packs, are sold here as singles. This way, you can try a bunch of different beers instead of buying a bunch of six packs. I've been wishing for a place like this for a long time. Just moved to the area, and I'm stoked to have this for my local beer store. Staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. This store is a great addition to the craft beer scene here in Calgary.

Quite possibly the greatest beer store in the Universe, Collective caters to the craft beer connoisseur who appreciates variety and quality in their libations. They specialize in singles, so no more buying a 4 pack and getting stuck with 3 duds. Plus they do growler/crowler fills! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff and really fresh gear/branding also help make this beer store the envy of all other beer stores. Bow down!

Wow, what a massive selection of craft beers here. Very organized coolers and the salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful. I haven’t tried the on tap beer yet, but rest assured with a selection of 20 on tap craft brews I will be filling up a growler soon. It’s great to have this craft beer store in the area, give it a try and support local business. They also currently have a buy six cans and get 10% off.

Really regret not getting around to giving this place a review sooner. Fantastic selection, both on the beer and cider/cooler side. I've been shopping here since it opened and have never had service short of fantastic! These people know their beers and are always ready to give solid suggestions. I absolutely love that the vast majority is single cans - the options to customize to my tastes are limitless!

Such a fun,little shop with numerous tasty selections. Really enjoy that things are single cans. It makes for fun gifts or date nights. Not to mention the growler selection. Beer aside, every bottle of wine I have ever bought here I have thoroughly enjoyed as well. We will continue to fill our growlers here and continue to explore and gift all the different beers.

Awesome place! The staff and owners are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This place is awesome for anyone to pickup some of the fantastic beers in Alberta’s craft beer scene and beyond. It’s great for those of us in the Deep South part of town who would rather have drinks at home! There are numerous beers here with 20 taps for filling a growler or howler.

Everyone is always so friendly and very helpful with recommendations. You can tell that the team here really enjoy what they do and take pride in educating themselves on all of their products. I always say this is like a library of drinks. It's a whole experience every time we go! Single cans, wine, all the latest collabs and drops - it's a one stop shop!

I was so impressed by every aspect of this beer shop. The novel canning systems, with the CO2 purge, the amazing selection of draft and bottled beer, and super knowledgable and passionate staff. I got to have a scintillating conversation about craft beer, and got to take it all home with me. I’m recommending this place to everyone I know. So legit.

Great place for craft beer with a focus on those brewed local and within Alberta. A great place run by great folks who truly care about supporting the beer scene within our province. They do carry all kinds of craft brews but their focus is for sure supporting our local breweries and I think that is fantastic. You can not go wrong stocking up here.

The best beer shop!! There's a wide variety of beer (on tap and canned/bottled) that is ever changing and organized in the most intuitive and helpful way. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I also appreciate the curated wine and spirits and wide selection for non-alcoholic beverages! Something for EVERYONE.

Great selection but more important great staff who are able to share their opinions and recommendations because they actually try the products they carry! Super helpful when you can mention a beer you like and they are able to point you towards similar beers for you to try. Like that there's always something new in store.

I love this place. I love the team, the selection, the atmosphere..I love it. If I wasn't already a dad who admittedly sometimes enjoys a drink in the hot tub alone, as he tries to forget having children for a moment, I'd have even more kids.. and then I would name them after everyone in this place. Seriously... love it.

Awesome shop with a great rotating selection of both cans / bottles, and growler bar. Beers are sold individually which is amazing for trying different craft beers and not committing to 4 or 6. Family run business - staff are passionate, super friendly and knowledgeable. We go out of our way to go here - well worth it!

I've been here a few times, and I love the large selection of sour beers. My goto for sour beers is Phillips Dino Sour's and New Level green,pink,orange demon sour's. Was recommended by a staff member, some of the ones below, and the most tart/sour beer is the Collective Art's - Blood orange & cranberry with vanilla.

A large selection of beer including 20 on tap for growler fills. I have a 128 fluid oz pressurized growler, and unfortunately I realized only after bringing it home that it was filled with approximately 50% foam. For the price ($36 plus tax), I do not feel that this was good value at all. Very friendly staff though.

What a great selection of beers! The staff are also terrific. Very helpful and great attitudes. I love the fact that the growler bar has 20 taps and they’re regularly rotated (check online for current selection). They even fill cans there that are the same volume as the howlers. (I’ve never seen that anywhere else).

Amazing selection!!! Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and so kind. Wicked place to buy local, national and international craft beers from small breweries. And best of all the cans are singles so you’re not forced to buy 4 tall cans of one kind. Lots of beers on their taps too to fill up your growlers!

One of the best liquor stores in town. The beer is organized properly by type of beer! Why doesn’t everyone do this?? Good on tap selection and great bottle / can selection too! Friendly staff. Never a line up. Next door to an awesome market to grab some food to go as well!

Hands down the best craft beer selection in YYC! Super friendly knowledgeable staff, if you can’t find it just ask. The owners do an incredible job of sourcing some of the “harder to find beers” and stocking them. Stop by and check it out, you won’t leave empty handed.

Collective has by far the best selection of beer in the city. Their customer service is always top notch, I’m always greeted with a smile. The staff and owners are very well informed and very helpful in helping me pick out new IPAs to try.

These people are awesome! Not only do they have an amazing selection of beers in cans, bottle and on tap but they are accommodating, friendly and understand how to treat their customers. If you are in the area go check them out!
