RE: 8 Collins Street Red Hill. You advertised the property with the description that it could accommodate 14 people and while it could sleep 14 people it most certainly did not comfortably accommodate 14 people. My family makes a point of setting time aside time from their busy schedules to come together for an annual family holiday in comfortable and beautiful surroundings. While Red Hill is a beautiful area the accommodation was not, had we wanted to spend a “rough” holiday we would have gone camping. Each night, as we retired to bed, the front bedroom (with the very small ensuite) provided my husband and I an evening serenade from whatever creature scratched away in the ceiling and wall. You stated that the house was set up for entertaining, however we felt it completely failed in this description, hence each day we would escape the house for most of the day. • The bathroom and laundry facilities were inadequate • The cooking facilities were of a very poor standard • The sleeping quarters were of a very low standard • The enhanced clean as advertising was of sub-standard as the house constantly smelt dusty, to the point were two of my grandchildren had to use their Ventolin inhalers • The closet facilities in each room was totally inadequate. • Please know that the coffee machine so proudly advertised, like the bath, was not used. The machine required descaling. • Strongly suggest you can make it clear and recommend to guests to bring-in their own drinking and cooking water.

The house is good so far as the bedrooms are concerned, every bedroom has a reverse aircond. and the bed is comfortable. The lounge is large and lounge couch is comfortable.

Great house with lots of space for a big group. Open fire place keeps everyone toasty in the winter.
