The CLP team transformed our house just recently in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, painting both the interior and exterior. Sam and the CLP team are miracle workers, because it’s definitely no secret that my husband and I are perfectionists, and sometimes a bit painful to deal with because of this. However, Sam and the CLP team went above and beyond our sometimes unrealistic expectations. I am so happy we chose them! Sam and the team at CLP are very knowledgeable painters. This became apparent almost immediately. Originally, an interior stylist helped us choose our colours, which were then purchased by Sam so that CLP could commence painting. It would have been much easier for Sam and his team to just get on with the job and paint our house with the chosen colours. However, Sam suggested to us that they may not be the best choice and that we should consider a more modern colour palette to suit our house. Thank goodness we listened to Sam’s advice because it truly made all the difference. The CLP team painted some samples on each of the walls, and we soon realised that Sam was right. The original colour we chose was just not right. Not a day goes past without us receiving unsolicited compliments from complete strangers walking past, commenting on how lovely our house looks and what a dramatic difference the paint job has done to uplift our house. A few have asked who did the painting, and we gladly refer them to CLP each time. I employed CLP to take on my somewhat tedious painting task in the Eastern suburbs. We suffer the task of ongoing maintenance as we are living in amongst elements that require the best paints and best application to ensure longevity. Our home was in need of some major TLC and bringing in CLP was the right choice judging by the result on our home exterior. It has been completely transformed ! From the onset Sam was very thorough with his initial well set out quotation which I might add was competitive compared to other quotes we received. Sam was more than happy to share his advise on the project but also listen to what we wanted and accommodate some of our ideas into his approach to the project. So far CLP has completed the exterior of the building to a extremely high standard, this review coming from someone who is very fastidious being from a trade background myself. Another thing to note is Sam's team are the only trades that have worked on my home that clean up after themselves each day, this given that I've had building, gyprocking & tiling carried out, and it wasn't uncommon to spend 2 hrs cleaning up after other trades people. Even being a good tradesperson, your only as good as your housekeeping. It is very refreshing to have a company that treats your project like it's the best finish or nothing at all. Sam and his awesome team have just finished rendering and painting the exterior of our 30+ year old home. It was a large job with challenging access. There were 3-4 people on site everyday for a month. They turned up on time, worked hard and left the site clean and tidy at the end of each day. If the weather interrupted the job they let us know and made up the lost time by working late. They only used premium brand name materials and the workmanship was superb. Everything promised was delivered and any unexpected building faults were repaired with skill and a minimum of fuss. We changed our minds several times during the job and they were always very accommodating, made constructive suggestions and the quotes for extra work were very reasonable. We are extremely happy with the quality of the workmanship and the end result. Our house has been modernized without losing any of its character - a whole new lease of life! The entire team are a delight to have around and they take pride in their work. Sam and his team from Colour Life Painting did an outstanding job at our home. Our house was built in 1938 with the original dark wood picture and plate rails as well as skirting boards so the house was rather dark. We decided to have all the woodwork painted white and walls a soft grey and the level of professionalism and finishes were beyond what we expected. The interior of our house now looks bright, light and modern. We also had Sam and his team render the outside of the house and paint. The standard and quality of the render was of the highest I have ever seen. And of course, the quality of the exterior preparation and painting was terrific. Called late November 2022, spoke to Sam about a quote to get our house painted in and out. Said that he wouldn't be able to get out till the new year. Busy and Xmas/holidays break and all. So I said no worries as its that time of year and we weren't in a hurry. Chased him up end of the 2nd week of 2023. Sam came and from the moment I answered the door it was obvious he'd rather be anywhere else than here. The arrogance that oozed from this bloke was palpable. Still I treated him as I treat everyone, with the utmost civility. Told him what we wanted. He spent 20mins tops. In that time offered no suggestions just kept questioning why we wanted this and that. Couldn't wait to get out of here. My wife being a non confrontational person and the sweetest human I know said, the hell will I be giving that bloke any of our hard earned money. Well Sam never even bothered to send a quote anyway as stated. I guess he didn't think that our small meagre house warranted his attention. Don't know about all the 5 star reviews but the person that came to our house is lucky to get 1 star from my family.

Sam and his team of painters (Young, Joseph and Dean) were awesome and we couldn't be happier with the quality of work. The work involved repainting the interior of our 2 storey home. They were professional and easy to deal with all throughout the project. They always started the job on time and were very systematic and orderly as they worked around the home. They ensured all our lighting fixtures and furnitures were well covered before painting and always ended the day cleaning up the area and leaving things in an orderly fashion.
