"This place was that bad I decided not to stay"
"The reception person told us we get $5 off the price and a free soft drink if we gave the hotel 5 stars before seeing it"
"Rooms were dingy, smelt terrible, our milk provided to us was frozen, they didn't allow us in the pool, neighbors wouldn't keep it down after we requested room service as they didn't do anything, the milk was clumpy and moulding as well, haven't seen a single staff member, ants were crawling all over the fridge, saw a cockroach in the shower, shower pressure was horrendous, toilet didn't flush and when it did it took 20 seconds to finish, microwave had milk all in it, dirty bed sheets, we had to bring our own which we do anyway just incase, the heater didn't work, we were provided with 24/7 staff assistance but didn't see one all day, and when we called them no one answered, and one of the lamps stayed on and wouldn't turn off, but it was in a great location"
"This is an unexpected gem on such a busy street! It's appearance when you enter the driveway reminded me of a little country retreat, with the curved roof and winding verandah along the rooms"
"Simple, but we were just after a bed for the night, do suited us well"
This place was that bad I decided not to stay. It was cheap but I've stayed in better than this for less. If there was nowhere else to go I would have opted to stay in my car. Don't take room 30 if they offer it to you. It smells putrid. It's a combination of cigarette smell and mould. The carpet is worn right down and there are gaps around the room where you can see the slab. The grounds are full of weeds and broken dirty furniture. The cigarette trays outside the rooms are in need of emptying. Rubbish all over the place. The pool looked gross. Hotels tried to get me a refund but the hotel refused. They even take a $100 bond. I don't know what for as the furniture in the room looks like it was accessed from the local tip. The lazy fellow in reception tried to tell me they rent and don't have enough money to renovate. When I pay $129 I don't expect a flash room. What I do expect is a clean room. He did try to give me another room, and it didn't smell as bad but my impression of the whole place was off putting and couldn't trust that the sheets and bathroom had been cleaned properly.

The reception person told us we get $5 off the price and a free soft drink if we gave the hotel 5 stars before seeing it. (I assume thats where all the below 5 star ratings came from?) The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. The heater took half an hour to work and the toilet dripped all night. There was a hole in the wall in the room and the bedside lamps, which were mismatched, didn't work anyway. The batteries were being held into the remote with gaffa tape. Couldn't see through the windows as they were so dirty and grimy. The furniture looked like it was out of hard rubbish right across the property. The outside area looked alright from a distance but closer up it was overgrown with weeds and the plastic furniture was totally filthy. Old tinsel still hanging from Christmas past along with giant spiderwebs. 2 stars at best. Wouldn't recommend.

This is an unexpected gem on such a busy street! It's appearance when you enter the driveway reminded me of a little country retreat, with the curved roof and winding verandah along the rooms. Inside the rooms are very spacious and clean, definitely a great place to relax comfortably. The only downside is that the decor is a bit dated, if some modern updates were made to the rooms it would be an awesome and luxurious little getaway destination! Dont drive too quickly when approaching the entrance though..... visually it's hidden away very well off the road, if you blink you’ll miss it!

Quiet
Simple, but we were just after a bed for the night, do suited us well. Our room had a lock catch so felt safe. Friends room did not. Pool was covered and unavailable but we weren't there long enough to want a swim. Didn't find anything about room service or breakfast but the website we booked on said it should have been available. ♀️ The shower recess was tiled around the bottom and I kept kicking it. Lost my toe nail. Probably just me though. Parking was not allocated and we had to park away from where our room was.

We actually had a cancellation on our last place, so as I was looking up places in Melbourne, I came across Comfort Inn. We are so happy we came here! It was exactly what we were looking for. The area is close to shops and restaurants and not too far away from the airport. The attendant was very friendly and helped for our check in to go very smoothly! The room we had was extremely spacious and was equipped with microwave, mini-fridge, electric kettle, toaster, and more.

The bedding and bathroom were clean, although the windows were filthy. The rack in the wardrobe kept falling down when we hung our clothes on it. The chairs both in the room and outdoors were a disgrace, with tears, holes and stuffing coming out of them. Some light globes weren't working in lamps and the outdoor furniture was filthy and in very poor condition. Garden was very over-run. It is a shame because it has a lot of potential and the location is perfect.

My family and I loved staying here. Good value. Sure bathrooms were dated but everything worked and it was very clean The room we had was clean, had everything that needed and the amenities were great. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we were very impressed with quick check in and check out. Highly recommended.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Smells! Power points are hanging off walls. Couldn’t use the pool because it was feral. Holes in walls. Blood stains on the bedding. Shower filthy. We had to go and buy air freshener and Glen 20. Seriously the worst place o have ever stayed in by far!!!

Not impressed at all. Room was right next to the road and noisy all night. Outdated and dirty with no room service despite being offered and indicating that we would like our room to be cleaned. Not much space and no options for contacting anyone outside of hours. Definitely would not recommend and should not receive any stars.

I had a wonderful stay at Comfort Inn Greensborough. The location is perfect, just a short drive away from Melbourne's CBD and the airport. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This motel was terrible. The floor tiles were stained and loose. The smoke alarm was covered in black tape to hold it together which made you question whether it was even legal. The room smelled fusty. The walls were dirty and needed repainting. Stay away at all costs
Comfort Inn Greensborough was the perfect choice for my weekend getaway. The hotel's location allowed me to explore Melbourne easily, and the nearby Yarra Valley wineries were a treat.

Great value
The motel provided clean and comfortable accommodation, with no security concerns . The decor is aging and the grounds untidy, but as somewhere to base myself for a weekend in the area, it was perfectly adequate. I'll stay again.
It’s a place to stay, that is all. Rooms last renovated in the 80’s. Water pressure bad. Musty feel. The grounds unkempt. Not much Comfort in here.

Dirty, cold, mouldy, and doesn’t feel safe. No staff on site 24/7 as advertised, no dining facilities as advertised. Rooms were not clean, bathroom and roof mouldy. Blanket and sheet is all the bedding provided…………
I had a fantastic experience. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located near shopping areas and restaurants.
