1. Did not deposit money from coin counter into my account by 6pm as CLEARLY stated on the receipt. 2. Did not answer phone calls? Voicemail and additional attempts made. 3. Arrived at 12:57 to the bank closing? For? Lunch? What? And some rude managerial looking figure pointing at the sign and gesturing with his fingers 2pm (they would reopen) as he waddled back in with takeaway. Thank you to the man who heard my complaint regardless and had the money in my account within minutes. I don’t understand why it came in at 1:08pm the following day if it was this quick of a process. Deposited before 11am.

Have a bad experience today around 5th April around 330pm. Staff seems to ignore to help because i am Asian. I felt disgusted by their behavior and professionalism. They were chatting and 1 guy was doing a boxing dance while i was standing alone in the queue. I hope the top management watches the camera video and looks into their disgusting staff that treats the Commonwealth customers. Luckily a nice lady walked out of the room and came to help me. Overall, i still felt Disgusted Experience!!!

Warning: Their phone is non-functioning. Called their branch from Mon-Thursday three times a day and they never answered. Tried to leave voice mail but it’s all full. Went there in person and they said that they couldn’t pick up the phone because all the staff is busy dealing with customers so they don’t have time to pick up the phone. Instead suggested to book appointment online, but there’s no such option. Ended up just walking in again and waited ‍♀️

Tried to withdraw some cash in Toowong Village ATM. After entering the PIN and the money sum, it accidentally showed "Your card has expired and will be kept within the ATM" and that's all. Wait, but my card was valid till August 2022 and today is 19 July 2020! Left me without being able even to do any shopping for the coming week! Still need to wait up to 10 business days for the new card to be posted! Was this ATM hacked or something?

Origianlly posted this around dec 2022. Rubbish branch and under staffed. Was told i had to put my name down so they can call me when they have time to check my ID. Ridiculous Dec 2023 - Here i am again trying to get service from the commonwealth bank in Toowong. Waited in the queue, the was told the wait for assistance was about 20 minutes. That was 35 minutes ago. Commonwealth Bank, you should be ashamed of yourself.

I do not think i have ever left a bad review on google before but for somewhere which i am holding my hard earned money i need to ask questions here and there, i am actually a big fan of the CBA and have been using them for years and love being able to visit the branches, but this particular branch is terrible with customer service, there have been 20-30 minute wait times every single time i have been there

Wouldn't go to this bad boi again - I checked the mailbox everyday for 13 business days to find out that my debit card was never even ordered from the downtown branch who did order it. Opening the account went okay, but that was actually the biggest inconvenience at the time and I almost went crazy looking every day. 7-10 days sometimes means "we didn't order your card" I guess? I don't know lol

As someone who has just moved to Brisbane from overseas, this branch helped me verify my ID and get set up following my online account opening in no time. Tracey was very helpful and just generally lovely! Unlike the CBD branch, which wouldn’t help me because I was only the 4th person in-line before the store opened and they could only help 3 people a day apparently…

Zijn hier geweest om onze bankrekeningen te openen. Het proces was gemakkelijk maar wat het zo fijn maakte was het ontzettend vriendelijke personeel. Ze waren erg behulpzaam en vonden ondanks de drukte tijd om ons uitleg te geven over alles. Shoutout naar Brian voor het leuk maken van het KYC proces. Hij heeft ons super goed geholpen. Dank dank dank!

With all the cutbacks there is not enough staff working here. There is really long waiting times to see anyone. All I am trying to do is change to my new married name. At my other bank, I could do it online and submit all my verified documents. But Commonwealth and with all their cutbacks still make you come in person and wait.

Reviews are true. Staff member halfway through said had to move desk and proceeded to just walk out. May have gone for coffee. Had to then wait for second staff member who apologised, rolled her eyes and then put on waiting list again

I waited for more than 20 minutes, then was told I still need to wait for one and half hours to get a new card send to my place. This is ridiculous, better avoid this branch.

Service extremely slow, the front desk staff didn’t remember what people waiting inline said and sent people to the wrong processing person, it just doubled the waiting time!
