I've worked with Compass Housing, in particularly with Patrick, because our company needed proper short stay housing for employees that would stay in Amsterdam for 2-3 weeks. Airbnb or hotels where just too expensive (e.a. 150-200 euro per night). What I really enjoyed the most was the level of service he delivered. I would send him an email requesting a house in the city center of Amsterdam for a period and x amount of time. Usually I would get an email back on the same day either with 3 options or stating that he was looking into it and would get back to me. Well, that's proper communication. He made sure that, during the stay of our employees, there was always someone available to contact if there where any problems. I mean, that's top notch service, especially if you're not from around here. So, I would definitely recommend this company for the good service and quality houses that they have in their portfolio.

Fast, efficient and a complete package. From viewing to moving in - 24hours. Utilities transferred through their partners portal within minutes, they even helped me tremendously with ordering Internet. I felt well taken care of and that my interests were fairly liaised with the landlord. Rauol was compassionate, understanding of my situation and kind enough to answer all raised questions. He even followed up with other helpful information like waste and recycling. During the viewing, he was very honest about the property and did not try to shy away or sugarcoat any drawbacks. Genuinely felt he was there to help me find my new home. Patrick was super quick with replying to every email and very approachable to clarify any contract questions. They went above and beyond, even post move, to make my settling in as smooth as possible. Highly recommend.

I used Compass (and worked directly with Patrick Gerritsen) for my search. We moved from Stockholm, Sweden to Amsterdam, Netherlands. We didn’t know anything about the Amsterdam rental market and was in for a surprise - bidding wars on rent and deposits! My family have moved around a lot (Boston, San Francisco, Stockholm) and I’d say this is one of the worse. They were able to find something great within 2 weeks. We love our location and apartment! The entire process was super clear and smooth. For days I could not make it to the showing, Patrick just did a video recording. His entire team were helpful and super easy to work with. They even caught an illegal clause in our contract and helped us set up utilities. I would highly recommend this place and specifically Patrick if you do not want to maneuver this market alone.

They were patient throughout the process that took around 3 months.Everyone was super helpful and reachable over WhatsApp during work hours. They helped me in getting viewings for apartments that I found over property sites like Funda, Pararius. Sometimes, they would also suggest some really good (internally-known off the chart) properties based on my search criteria. Someone from the company would always be there at the viewing to show me around. They were very quick with making the offer and very diligent with following up with the other agent for update. They also helped me with setting up utilities like internet, water and also followed up with any other issues I had after I moved to my new home!

These guys were really exceptional. Myself and my partner had been struggling to find a place amidst the housing crisis. Weeks of work with other estate agents was no help, but after one email to Compass Housing, I had a video-viewing the next day and my apartment had been confirmed within three days. Dream service! I used Compass Housing to secure an apartment for a shortish-term lease (i.e. just under 6 months). I needed to secure a place before arriving in Amsterdam, which made it tricky.
