Just stopped by to grab a few things on my lunch break as I do when on site .”now as a black woman we expect this and it’s unfortunate that we deal with it so often “.I walk around trying to decide what exactly I wanted and was followed by the person that was first standing by the entrance and then while waiting for a empanada he proceeded to pretend that he was fixing items in the fridge near to me so he could keep an eye on me .i really do hope the white people that come to that store are treated just as uncomfortable as I was today .it’s disgusting !! ps. All black people aren’t thieves. Also for the old half dead black man behind the counter serving food please remember people can hear you .I asked for a side of avocado.this man starts talking to his coworker about “who asks for a side of avocado.why not just buy a whole avocado”. If I want a side of avocado I should be able to have a side of avocado without hearing ur mess .if you don’t like your job ,go work somewhere else .Threw away the avocado anyway because it was green and distasteful like the experience I just had.

I utilized the services of this eatery from time to time for lunch delivery, my job is close, so when I'm too busy to walk there I order online. Previously the delivery limit was $5. Upon ordering and in desperate need of something to eat I received a last minute phone call that the limit has been changed to $10. I use my debit card for payment the cashier then calls to tell me the payment can not be processed after a frustrating conversation, and waiting almost an hour for my food I asked to speak with the manager who immediately cleared up the problem, one sunny side out of a million. They also have bad timing in relation to delivery. I have stories for days but won't have to elaborate further, I no longer use their services. I may continue to shop from them if need be or if not too busy. The regular cashier who is Caribbean works well with customers as opposed to the other cashier who acts as if you're taking money out of her wallet to pay for services. SMH enough said.

I'm a recent owner at CV. I'm an accomplished senior professional (saying this so that most can assume that I have a certain amount of knowledge and experience in life and work) and today the manger did not like when I asked why the expensive tomatoes are still rotten expecting him to say when the new delivery will be. Instead he told me that all I do is complain, believe me that is not true, and then he proceeded to throw me out of the store! Now this is a first for me. I will review this with CV management as well as speak to my fellow owners. This is unacceptable behavior. Lastly, the rest of the staff is extremely polite and friendly; Sunny not so. A week later after the Owner stated that he/she will review the incident but NO answer. Unfortunate.

The store owner and workers are racists. They racially profile patrons. Any person of color that walks in is blatantly followed around and sometimes even after they've left the store. My son was crying because it happened to him and then he watched it happened to another man. I give my son money everyday. He could be walking around with the money in his hand and they still follow him. Disgusting! my son has to live the trauma of discrimination at 11 yrs old, when his white friends that he goes to the store with at the same time, do not. I had to explain to him that this wont be the last time that this will happen and he should still walk with his head high , have dignity, respect and do what right.

First time I go waited in front of the register while a man finished paying. The girls leaves that register when I approach the counter to go to a second register where there are three ppl waiting who came AFtEr me! And had the nerve to say I had to make the line again! She’s lucky I didn’t shake that soda and open it right in her face! I tried to give the store a second chance! I use the atm which has no price, after they argued the price is on the screen! Then when you cancel because you don’t want to pay $3.00 they still charge you anyway and spit out your money! Fraud at its finest! Never again! Also we have a bunch of ppl from the office that go there. I put a stop to it all!!!

Best catering and such a surprise for small local market- - delicious plattered assortment of sandwiches including chicken salad wraps, turkey/cheddar, ham and cheese on crusty bread with lettuce and tomatoe. Tons of packets of mustard and mayo on the side. Beautiful - perfectly packaged boxes of giant cookies: rainbow sprinkle, chocolate sprinkle, chocolate chip, caramel and dipped white chocolate plus individual large bags of potato chips in a great mix for different tastes. The right mix of cold sodas, plasticware, plates & napkins. All delivered early and neatly. I am sure we received extras. Very happy customer-!

This is the “little store that could.” In other words, for a small place, they have a great selection of items including hot and cold take out. And they deliver locally. The place is always clean, neat and well-stocked. The staff is friendly and always ready to help with your needs. If they don’t have an item you’re looking for, they get it in. They are credit to the community. When COVID hit, they took a huge hit to their business as they are situated in a primarily commercial area, but they found a way to stay open and to continue to serve the residents of the area. I definitely enjoy coming here. I've been coming here for years now and aside from having some rude workers in the past, there are some lovely current ones now and they always seem to make going to concord market a pleasant experience. Although the food is a bit pricy at times I love their deli. I typically get my own custom samdwhich not the ones that's already on the menu and I haven't been disappointed yet. I like that they have some vegan snacks and food so if you're thinking about becoming a vegan it isn't a task to find foods that you are able to eat.

The manger is disrespectful and rude. I pulled him to the side nicely to complain about a string of hair in my sandwich. As I am showing it to him he kept insisting there was nothing in there. As I pulled it out, putting it in his fingers to show him. He makes a scene calling me crazy, claiming there’s no hair. I just wanted him to replace my sandwich but instead the manager rudely insulted me in front of everyone that was in the store. Instead, I asked for my money back. Its a shame because all the workers in there are friendly and nice.

Concord Market is convenient. It’s more than a bodega and less than a supermarket. As such you can find the basics and pick up things on the way home. However, you pay the price for convenience. Given that fact there are sometimes specials and the store does offer customers the option to buy a store debit card which costs $100 with a $15 bonus added on. I like the guy who works the register. We have cool conversations about Angelina Jolie and what we’d do if we hit it big in winning the lottery.

This place is nice and has good food BUT the staff in the kitchen are the worst! They don't have any costumer service and treat people with disrespect. I used to come here to get my sandwich but ever since I got treaty very bad I stopped coming here for the food. There is an old lady who clearly looks that she doesn't want to be there and just everyone except for one short guy. Please be aware of terrible costumer service there

You have to be very careful about the prepared foods you buy from here. Often they are expired or already moldy. I also don't enjoy how it smells in here. I'm not sure what it smells like, but it smells very peculiar to me and whenever I buy something from here, the item seems to come away with the smell. This is particularly troubling for buying drinks. I try not to go here, but it's good in a pinch.

Concord market is at the center of the bustle of a busy college. It has a lot of good items, with a wide variety of vegan food items, but they are a bit expensive. Some of the prepared food on the shelves isnt quite as good, and sometimes you find a hair in them, even the packaged fruit. I would recommend the paninis, they are large enough to serve as two meals.

Avoid it like the plague. Brought a faulty iPhone charger for $10 and manager refused to issue a refund. BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT this awful business. By far the worst customer service ever. I'm tired of all these delis that disregard customer service yet still continue to operate. Bring back small businesses with locals who actually care about locals

I had placed a rather large order from Concord Market Catering for a work event and everything was done so well! Everyone at the event was happy, the food was great, more than enough food was given for all of the single portion items; truly a great experience and will be reaching out again in the future. I would definitely recommend!

Now that's a roast beef sandwich!!!! Meat wasn't chewy, every bite, amazing! Some delis can be so off putting. This place was great with a large variety for shopping and a great clean deli. The cook, the manager*?*, and the clerk were all so friendly. I will be coming back here again ❤️

The personal 10" pizza was terrible. I ordered one for me and one for my wife. First the pie didn't look like 10' more like 6' and the sauce was like bottled spaghetti sauce. The cheese was not stringy and melted but thick in one huge clump. I won't be ordering pizza from there again.

Worst place ever! Several days old cannoli sold in receipt under 'item deli', same with spinach pie that's go under 'iced latte'. They use dirty berries for smoothies. I hope some inspection visits the place. Don't go there if you are not looking for stomach bug

The young lady at the register added things to my bill I weren't purchasing. I asked for a receipt because she had my change wrong and this got her upset. Her frustration elevated realizing she were caught trying to steal from me. The sandwich was however good.

This store is racist. I’m a black customer, I placed a order with the grill man. A white man walked in after me, , told the same man his order. The grill man proceeds to start the man order before mine. This is not the first time.

It’s a great establishment, very clean, seating area, salad bar, and deli. Food is good too. Only thing is lines get pretty long and it’s a bit pricey but all in all a great place.

Moved to the neighborhood few years ago and Concord market has always been my go-to place for all my groceries. Reasonably priced items, clean and helpful crew members.
