Coney Island es como visitar una peli típica americana, con la playa al lado y un parque de atracciones de lo más clásico, con noria, túnel del terror y salón recreativo. Todo tiene un encantador aire vintage y el ambiente es sencillamente espectacular. Encontramos gente tomando el sol, bañándose, escuchando música, bailando al ritmo de un enorme altavoz bluetooth, familias con niños, latinos con enormes y preciosos perros de raza Pitbull caminando por el paseo...todo un crisol de culturas en un mismo lugar. Nosotros comimos en Nathan's, pero podemos elegir otro tipo de comida si nos apetece en los puestos ubicados en el paseo. Si te gusta el cine, recordarás escenas que has visto como en Wonder, en cuya banda sonora encontrarás hasta un tema llamado Coney Island, magnifico, por cierto. Aunque no tenía intención de visitarlo, fue una muy buena idea decidirse finalmente.

Que se puede decir o mostrar de Coney Island. Lugar por todos conocidos, por películas, novelas o por visitas. Fui un día de semana desde Manhattan en subte Que se transforma en tren cuando cruza el río y en la zona de Brooklyn. Cámara o celular atento para el paso por el puente. Es increíble. Un poco más de una hora y se llega sin problemas y directo. Muchos negocios con precios realmente interesantes. La zona de la playa hermosa. Comer un pancho en Nathan es obligatorio. Mucho para caminar. Muchos bancos para descansar. Imperdible.

Each time i visit coney Island in Brooklyn i always have a great experience i recommend everyone to visit coney Island even if you just visit one time trust me you will have so many stories to tell. È la spiaggia dei Newyorkesi. Di sicuro non ti aspetti di trovare una spiaggia bella selvatica a 50 minuti da Manhattan! La spiaggia è profonda, ben tenuta. Non ci sono servizi di spiaggia, ma ci sono i servizi igienici (puliti!) e molti bar. Bella la lunga passeggiata! Andare in metro costa solo 3 dollari, ma non è facilissimo districarsi con il metro di New York!

The Boardwalk itself is quite nice (at least in the morning when there is no rush and tourists like us). There are a lot of shops for eat and drink as well, of course relatively expensive and also very well booked in the afternoon. The fairground rides at luna park are ok (for kids) but nothing special. All in all, we spent a nice half of the day in coney island, if you plan to lay on the beach or go swimming, a complete day could be also pass away.

Great traditional boardwalk park! Loved the classic Cyclone Rollercoaster and all the exhilarating rides! Many rides for thrill seekers and some for smaller kids. Best part is that it is on the boardwalk and the beach. Much like Santa Cruz, California. Both iconic roller coasters are from 1920’s! Great carnival food, shops and rides!

Playa y área de juegos mecánicos,la playa es gratis pero ya para los juegos si tienen costo y hay que esperar para subir a ellos,Coney Island es conocida por que en ella se filmó aquella película de antaño llamada The Warriors y es más recomendable ir entre semana ya que los fines de semana hay bastante gente.

Unique experience! Right next to the boardwalk and ocean in Brooklyn. Lots of cool rides, entertainment and food options. It’s closed outside of the season but you can still walk around and imagine how vibrant it is during the peak rush hours.

Fun fun fun for the whole family. Just very expensive and busy, especially in the summer months. Make sure to visit Brighton Beach nearby.

The Coney Island Boardwalk spans numerous places to eat, drink, get some sun, hop off onto the beach, or join in the fun at the amusement parks.

My mini vacation getaway,I love the beach,the blue skies and the smell of the ocean,wish I could be here every day. Absolutely love this place.

Beautiful during a weeknight sunset in early August. Quite noisy however. But the view made up for the noise.
