Great to see our Canadian tax money at work. The most useless consulate office I have ever been to. Went there in order to get visa information for my girlfriend but was told to go to another office. Went to the second office and was told that they only accept applications there and cannot answer any of my questions and that they need to be sent by email. Seriously??? Where is our tax money going???

Called the Canadian Consulate office on November 10th. Put on hold while reception had to find out if there was a Remberance Day Service the following day on November 11th. Unbelievable!!! Afterwards, I was transferred to a voicemail. Our Canadian government, embassy and Consulate are a disgrace to the fallen solders who protected and gave us our fundamental freedom. Lest We Forget.

I'm really disappointed with the Vietnamese security officer lady at consulate. She's cold, unfriendly and not very polite when talking to Canadians ( especially Vietnamese Canadians) at the consulate. I've never seen this attitude any government offices in Canada. It doesn't hurt to say "please" and "thank you". We're Canadians as well, please don't treat us like criminals.

Small office but efficiently run with kind and informative officers. Seems like they hired a new security guard - a young man who is quite pleasant in contrast to the previous female guard (as many others have complained about in older reviews). Though I’m not Canadian, I would have liked to of seen some official pictures of Canada’s leaders, but that’s okay.

Everyone in the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh city is not helpful !!! There is no way you could contact them to ask for their assistance! They just simply ignored you.Big country with bad services! Worst experience with an Embassy/ Consulate ever!!! Really disappointed...

I’ve been to many embassies and consulates around the world and this has got to be the worst. The security lady (local) super rude for no reason. I’m a Canadian at my consulate and she acted like I was a criminal. Why is she allowed to work for the consulate ?!!! …

I came here for a document, having made an appointment online. Everything was processed professionally, quickly, and politely .Staff really friendly .THANK YOU, and thank you Consulate General of Canada in Saigon -Vietnam .

Being so disappointed with the service here. What’s the problem with those security ladies? Her attitude and language is unbelievable, so rude and aggressive. I expected something more polite and cheerful.

The staff were knowledgeable, polite, and very helpful. I was able to contact them through the phone and e-mail and the response was quick. The online booking system was easy to use as well.

I feel really disappointed with their service. The staffs are unprofessional and unfriendly also. Brings me bad experiences !!
