As I found the reviews here by various visitors useful, I would like to share my own experience to facilitate other fellow citizens. The timings are between 10 am to maximum 3:30 pm for public dealing. If you are not in-person for your work, do ask favour from your blood relations or spouse to act upon your behalf, do not send members of extended family members or friends instead yourself. Do not visit the consulate the very day you have attested your degrees from Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), as the ministry's clerical staff updates your data on the system later in the business day. They will return you empty handed until they verify your attested degrees on the system. To minimise your hassle, check the QR code pasted by MoFA with any QR code reader in your cellphone. If you find your degrees upon the browser, following the link of the QR code, you can visit the consulate tension free. Before moving to the consulate, do verify that your debit card is activated by your bank for international transactions, because they only accept payment through this process. If you have Standard Chartered Bank debit card, it is authorised for international payments without any confirmation, so you are lucky enough to escape activation process. If you don't have such debit card, arrange it from your friends or family circle, because there is no other way around to escape this necessity. The fee of attestation of a single paper is approx 155 AED, so multiply the cost if you have transcript or other ones with you. Your account must have sufficient balance other than the payable amount, to maintain smooth transition. Consulate issues visas after due diligence and interview, other than visit visas for which you have to consult with travel agencies. Usually the attestation service is quick, but they take maximum time to make que of the documents to stamp it at once and minimise the precious time of their higher authorities. The waiting space in front of 10 public relation desks is huge and comfortable, but there are no restroom facilities for visitors nor drinking water. Thanks for your precious time to read this.

Went to attest my documents. Some reviews said only Gerrys or Sasha can get it attested. But currently they are catering personal visits too. Depending on time, situation I believe rules must be changing. After security checks they gave token to wait for attestation submission. When called for our turn. They asked what documents to attest. Pre requirement is the document should be attested from MoFA Pakistan. Payment charged in AED through Credit or Debit card only. No cash. After payment they asked to wait. After 30 minutes the documents were attested and given back. This time can vary between 20 minutes to 2 hours depending on rush or timing. Do keep copy and original of passport and nic just in case. There will be zuhr prayer and lunch break anytime between 1 and 3. Mobile phones and all electronic devices will be asked to kept in locker otherwise cannot further enter the consulate. Wearing of mask was mandatory. Experience was great, staff was cooperative. Fee for 1 attestation was AED153 but some services charges as well. So 10-15 AED service charges.

It is the only official representative of UAE government. 1. Anyone who has got an employment visa of UAE, he will have to get his documents attested from there, only then can he go to UAE and join his job. For documents attestation, UAE Consulate has authorised Gerrys International having two offices, one at 8th floor, Bahria complex, Gizri and second at Nursery Bus stop, Shahrah Faisal. 2. Private people are not issued visit or employment visas from there like few other Consulates. But a new visa section building has been built, but not inaugurated till now and expected to starts its services in a month or two. Then all visas of UAE will be issued from that office. Travel agents and individual will have to apply there. Visas stickers will be pasted there like Saudi Consulate,Karachi. 3. Still Pakistanis who were working in UAE and have lost there passports having visas, can come for getting permission on new passports to travel to UAE. 4. UAE nationals also visit for their problems relating to Pakistani Government.

I went there to get my documents attested. My experience has been amazing, the staff was very helping, professional and supportive. Infact, me and my wife were served with "Kahwa" as well as a gesture of hospitability. There are two mediums of making payment: 1) Case 2) Debit/ Credit Card I highly recommend to use NayaPay debit card for making payment as the payments got processed smoothly and the conversion rate was also good. When paying by cash we have to pay extra while experience a higher exchange rate defined by the Counslate.

Attestation process has changed. Now, all you need to do is walk-in for attestation. You can make payment online beforehand but it's best you bring a debit/credit card and make payment there. If you make payment online beforehand, make sure you take printout of the emails as well as the browser that shows IDs, reference numbers, and amount paid. It took barely 15 minutes and I got my document attested. If it's educational document (like mine), make sure it's already attested from HEC and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Overall the embassy has improved all of their services but my experience was very dissapointing considering for a 15 minutes job which was given to other folks but when my turn came the electricity went off and entire system including lights went offline due to which the staff was unable to perform their duty,. HAD TO WAIT 2 Hours before the power came back and then my request was fullfilled. My request to the diplomet to kindly install solar power system and have redundancies install in their premises.

Happy to read very good reviews from people about UAE consulate in Karachi. We sponsored our son to visit us in UAE, as we whole family are living here. I want to know how long it takes finger prints and visa stamps in Karachi consulate. We don't have any friends and families in Karachi and my son has to come from Islamabad. No parking. You have to park on the opposite side of the road and cross road carefully. YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS MUST BE ACTIVATED FOR INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS. As they don’t accept cash. Easy and quick and process. Mobile phones need to be submitted at the counter switched off. They will give the key of locker. I did my payment with my MCB debit card which I activated for international use on MCB live app. SPECIAL thanks to MCB and UAE MOFA staff. Thank you.

What an amazing service of UAE embassy. If all organizations work like UAE embassy then Pakistan Will definitely change in few years. Pathetic. No parking services. Does not render online appointment screenshot or mobile in the premise and sends you streets away by crossing main road to get a print from a local shop which will be no use in the consulate and this would result in being late so have 20 mins more provided for this Security staff and receptionist hold a very intimidating attitude except for a few people like Javed Ali - Security Staff

Nothing less than a bunch of life savers who've got excellent professionalism but at the same time are the most humble people I have come across in a Consulate. A specific lady in the staff literally went on to help me as if she were my mother. Great communication between employees. I visited UAE Consulate to attest my graduation degree, the process was so easy and quick, it took only 15 minutes to be complete the process. Security is strict which is good, the waiting hall is huge and counters desks are more than enough to manage the traffic. No need to go any agents, just do all attestation by your self, The charged me 40 USD for attestation of my document.

The process inside is so lean. However on Friday, the timing is 9:00 but they started at 10:00 due to system issue. You will keep on waiting outside consulate, almost on the road and they will call 2 people at a time to go inside. The process inside is so lean and straight forward. Waiting outside is so awkward. They should call all the people inside and may wait accordingly.

I visited yesterday and having very bad experience the people at the receptions both are very unprofessional and one day they said cash is required for fee and than saying no card is required and if u dont have card they are sending us to the tcs outside and asking extra fee. Yesterday they ask me to pay to the tcs 14000 pkr for my nikah attestation.

Brilliant service of all the concerned staff. Attestation fees of a single document are AED 150+ AED 3-4 service charges. Documents must be attested in prior from the Ministry of foreign affairs. The attestation is done immediately within 15 minutes. Payment is done through credit or debit card which can be used on international merchants.

Paki lady wearing glasses behind the attestation counter inside the consulate was rude and crude with her mannerism. She was talking badly to people, especially with people who looked poor and uneducated. They were treated in a harsh manner. She was behind counter 6, to be exact.

The timing which shows on Google are not right . When I reached there 1pm the security told me it's closed as per the timing here on google it shall close at 4pm . Please update the timing to avoid any inconvenience.

The map is showing 4pm off timing and the office is closed at 3 30 pm. Update the timing on the map so people coming from far places should notice this before being khwaar.

Which rate we went to Dubai and came to know that we had a very good experience and there are very nice people and they do good work and they are very cooperative people.
