Best convenience store by Christie Pitts Park. Run by the OG himself, Mr. Lee, a neighbourhood staple. Fill up on penny candy and party supplies . Get your emergency TP . Get your honey to swing by and get some milk on the way home.
This corner store is the cornerstone of the neighborhood. Mr. Lee runs a tight ship and has all that you need: Ice cream for hot summer days at Christie Park and hot Jamaican patties to get you through the winter. …
So incredibly sad that Mr. Lee sold the store. He’s been here forever and I can’t imagine not hearing him say, “hello hello” or the doer bell chime. He’d stock these particular ice cream bars for me. A true gem!
Since new ownership has taken over from Mr. Lee the hours of this store have decreased significantly. Previously the store would be open approximately 9am-10pm.
