First time was great-oil change included a good inspection and wasnt too overpriced. This was done by Lou (he's the best over there). Second time I go there for a check engine light, I think it's Lou's son who ran a expensive diagnostics (came down from 90$ to $50), then told me the price to replace the part that's sending a faulty signal is$115. He didn't tell me the part itself because I will buy it and replace it myself. I was naive and instead got cornered and paid for it. I shouldn't had at all because I didn't get the diagnostics result. Once the part is installed he gives me a $200 bill that included a purge valve which I can find on eBay from Ford motor in US for $45 Cad. He billed me$115 for the part. Stay away from that crook-he mostly sits at the front office EDIT: I just gave you the price and I could have done if you would have told me about the diagnosis. And what about the NOT telling me diagnostics. Who does that!?

My car broke down for the first time in the middle of the Gardiner Expressway. It was my first time in a shop where a diagnostic needed to happen and I was so worried. But all of it was put to ease. They were honest with me, took time to explain everything to me and not shame me for not knowing basic things about cars. My car was bought used and drove better than the day I drove it off the dealership lot. Overall accurate estimates, fair prices, good timing, quality work and care for their customers. Updated: Had another mechanic shop quote $800 for a job, so I called this place and provided the details on the vehicle and what I need done. I was told that job should only cost about $4-500. We dropped the vehicle off and 24 hours later was told it would cost $1200 (again, same service and parts) and although we declined the service we were still billed a whopping $100. Nothing of great note. Not a bad mechanic shop if you’ve got no one else, significantly on the pricey side with their rates compared to others in the vicinity.

I recommend them to everyone! 1st time I went I had an estimate from a dealership - after looking my car over they said it was actually a different hose that needed replacing (than what dealership said) and their price was $600 less!! They must have been right because that issue was fixed since then!!!

Let me tell you guys about this shop right here. Everyone in this place is always friendly and knowledgeable. Jerome specifically has always helped me out with any questions I had about cars. Can't recommend them enough!

I feel like the high price will keep people away, especially new clients. When you go to a service centre you don't expect to be paying dealership rates. Service otherwise is always professional and attentive.

Went to Active Green & Ross who quoted me $2700.00 for a wheel fix... went to Cooksville Service Center and it was fixed same day for $130!!! GO THERE FIRST... no need for a second opinion with these guys!
