Hi, my name is Deborah Robertson I’m a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and I would just like to start off by saying I am blessed to be a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and have a pastor who is a bible believing pastor like Pastor Lewis I believe Pastor Lewis to be a true man of God, whose concern is for the spiritual growth of his congregation not only does he preach but he teach to save souls and bring people to God. his message is always from the bible the word of God he doesn’t put his own spin on it there’s no twist when he’s delivering the word every word is what says the Lord in the KJV Bible Cornerstone is a great church to worship to hear the word of God as well as a fun and exciting place without compromising the word of God Cornerstone is a family oriented church we have children of all ages babies toddlers teens as well as young adults and elderly adults so surely no matter what the age all are welcome the church reaches out to all communities sharing the gospel hoping to teach people about salvation praying to save souls and bring people to God there is always a welcome mat here at Cornerstone Baptist Church please stop in and give us a visit!

Great Bible believing church! If you’re looking to hear from the Lord that’s exactly what you’ll get if you go to Cornerstone Baptist church. Pastor Courtney Lewis preaches straight from the KJV Bible and encourages you to do the same. You will definitely get used to hearing “Turn your Bible to “ and he expects just that. If you’re serious about Jesus and want to grow spiritually, Cornerstone is a great place to go. You’ll be encouraged and challenged to grow spiritually. You’ll have a church family that cares about your soul and your family and friends soul as well. You’ll definitely have a good support team and a place to use your talents. I could go on and on but just come see for yourself. You might “get your toes stepped on” but that’s what you want; the truth so you can be set free. To God be the a glory. We need more churches like Cornerstone a baptist.

Almost 2 years ago I was driving on Woodlawn and drove past a church that had a sign that said Old Fashioned Bible Believing Church. I decided to visit one Sunday and we have been coming ever since. I absolutely love love this church! I love how meaningful and thoughtful each and every sermon Paster Lewis preaches. It is evident that it comes from his heart to reach out to those SOULS that need to be saved. Another reason this church stands out from any other church in the entire city of Chicago, is the outreach into the neighborhood with its ongoing consistent bus ministry. Pastor Lewis and his entire staff go above an beyond to help impact the community which is truly amazing. I highly recommend anyone to come to Cornerstone Baptist Church. It will be the best thing you could ever do for yourself and your family.

Love this church friendly, loving and strong stands on the Bible (kjv) strong stands on the family and outreach to the community is right in line with Gods plan for the New Testament church. I Love the Pastor like a brother genuinely cares for SOULS and building strong families. I love the outreach going out into the hedges and highways and compelling them to come in Gods great commission. Not to mine church follow Gods great commission anymore not to mine Pastors believe it still works all they care about is filling and lining their pockets and looking good and having numbers or people to fill the pew so they can pat themselves on the back. But this church right here God defiantly has His hand on it. Its not a big church either but its a strong church of vibrant believers who just simple love people and the Lord.

A traditional Bible preaching church, A pastor that gives everyone equal access and respect whenever seeking biblical guidance pastor Lewis is there to help, a church with fellowship and great Bible preaching not watered down to spare the truth, children ministry(age appropriate Sunday school and Sunday service)as well as a bus ministry getting children to the church and home from church, a nursery to help parents focus on the church services uninterrupted. From visiting watered down other churches this church is truly a blessing, if you’re seeking traditional church with great Bible preaching come visit!!!

Cornerstone Baptist Church is a wonderful Bible base believing church with loving members that welcome you and make you feel like family. I love the teachings and activities they have for the children (Christian Academy & picking up children in the neighborhood making a way for them to get to church and back home) and just reaching out to any and everyone in the community to win souls for our Heavenly Father. The preaching, the music, and the love for Jesus Christ this is a good church to attend to receive God word. I'm thankful.

The people at this church are so welcoming and you can tell they have a passion to work for the Lord. They want to make sure that people understand salvation and how to help other people be saved. Very family friendly and always willing to help. Pastor Lewis has been a blessing to many of the families and individuals at the church and has been a blessing to my family for sure. The friendship and fellowship found at this church is unlike any church I have ever attended. I am blessed to now call Cornerstone my church home.

As a recent Chicago transplant, I was looking for a church where the word of God is preached faithfully, and the community is warm and welcoming. I found all that and more at Cornerstone Baptist Church. The believers at Cornerstone have a genuine love for God and for people and it shows in everything they do. Cornerstone Baptist is a great church for anyone looking for a place to worship and grow in their faith.

God has been doing wonderful things here. Souls are being saved, disciple, and growing in grace. We are not a perfect church, but we are a Bible-believing church. So If you believe in the Bible, then Cornerstone is the church for you! We have a great kids ministry as well. Hopefully, we'll see you on the Lord's day.

This Church is outstanding. I love the bus ministry, My kids were picked up and dropped-off every Sunday. Pastor Lewis Bible preaching is, “Thus saith the LORD”, and not this is what I believe it says. Straight from the KJV bible. I was saved by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 20

This place is Unbelievable they invited poor communities to come out for free bikes for children. Brought a group of Republicans to speak and preach about Hell. Then raffles off 100 used, rusted bikes. This is so offensive to our community.

Cornerstone is an amazing Church with strong biblical preaching and bible based teaching on marriage and family. Our entire family has spiritually grown leaps and bounds.

I've not physically been to the church building but I listen to Pastor Lewis's sermons on youtube. Good sound biblical doctrine and teaching. Direct and concise.

If you want to hear a Pastor preach from the Bible and be challenged to improve your walk with God, then this is the place for you. A KJV Bible believing church!
