I took my VW in, as the passenger side door light wouldn't go off with the door shut, as well as having a block heater installed. I received a call from Corrado's, stating that the price to repair the door was going to be $800.00. The block heater was $200.00. I went with the block heater, however given the age and value of the car, decided against the door. When I go to pick up the car, they charge me $200 to diagnose the door problem! At no point did I authorize them to do any work beyond checking the switches. At first, they gave me the excuse that they spent hours taking the door panel off. When I pushed, they agreed that they didn't, and just hooked it up to their computer diagnostic system. When I continued to ask for justification, they said again that they spent hours taking the door panel off. I live nearby, and my car was never in the shop for more than 45 minutes, so I have no idea where they get off saying they've had the car being worked on for that amount of time. I found their service poor, expensive, and not what I ordered. I would highly recommend going anywhere else but this place. I'm all for trying to support local merchants, however if this is the type of customer service they're going to provide, it is not worth the expense.

My previous mechanic of 15 years sold his business and retired. I was willing to give the new ownership a try. When my check engine light came on and it was a transmission code all they told me was that I needed a new transmission. I asked if there was any troubleshooting that could be done before pulling the trigger on a new transmission. All I got was, "nope, you need a new transmission." That is when I started looking elsewhere. My roommate has done business with Corrado's for sometime now, so I thought that I would give them a try. I couldn't be happier. The owner has treated me with respect, has never been condescending to me, and has worked with me to troubleshoot a couple of problems. So far one of the things we tried to help the transmission is holding. Also, the pricing is incredibly reasonable! I would recommend Corrado's to anyone.

I am not sure what these other reviews are about, I have been going to Corrado's Auto repair for years. I have always found them to be professional and fair with their pricing and service. While I don't disagree that they are sometimes frank about what needs to be done to my car, I actually appreciate that. Tell me what needs to be done and why, and if there are any alternatives. I don't need the sugar coating or the run around. They give it to me straight, always deliver on time, and have never mislead or tryed to take me for a ride. I trust them implicitly, and would not go anywhere else.

We have been using Corrado's ever since they opened and have found the service is always great and the workmanship is excellent. I don't understand the people who are complaining about the prices. They are no more expensive than any other qualified mechanics. If you want cheap and don't care about your car then go a place like Canadian Tire and have an apprentice work on your car instead of a mechanic. The price will be cheap but so will the workmanship. If you care about your car then take it to Corrado's where they will always fix it properly the first time.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use this wonderful community Auto Repair in Oakridge SW Calgary. I only wish I had come sooner for my auto repairs. Top shelf customer service, % trustworthy, reliability, reasonable fair market prices…even better than most shops I would say. I've been coming to this shop for years - they're awesome. I went in recently for a bent rim and when it wasn't going to be done by the end of the first day and I had to pick up my son, they put the car back together for me with the old rim so that I could pick him up and then re-drop off the car for repair - at no extra cost. They're always friendly, answer all questions honestly, and have never tried to up-sell me on anything. Highly recommend.

I literally Just called them to speak to the owner and or general manager. about an issue and however had answered the phone completely disregarded me and said they werent interested and hung up! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! do i sound like a telemarketer? i need service and this place is horrible do not go. very rude and not considerate of their customers. very disappointed

My daughter had tires replaced at Canadian Tire and when I was driving her car on the Deerfoot at 100km, her whole vehicle started vibrating. I stopped in at Corrado's for them to have a look. Appears that the lug nuts where loose and could no longer be tightened as the result. Needed to get new rims for her car. Very thankful for the help. Best service ever.

First time using this place and needed a pretty big job done. Had my outer tie rods break. They were super accommodating an gave me different options on parts which saved me a bit of cash!. Anything goes wrong again with my 2 vechiles I will definitely be bringing it to them. John and Nino are very nice easy going and is a trustworthy garage.

We have been using this corner repair shop for more years than we can count. The estimate is always reasonable for big jobs. They are quick to call and discuss options when something comes up in a regular oil change. They do thier best to complete the work quickly. Hope they stay in business as long as I am driving

I switched shops after taking all three vehicles in at different times. I'm sure I spent close to $10000 in the last couple of years and every time I get charged $130 for diagnostic tests. I have a code reader and it takes 30 seconds to do.I'm not going to pay for that when I'm already spending $1500 for repairs.

Have been to this shop many times! Nino is great to do business with and my car repair was on time and in budget. If you don't want to pay for real mechanics, you can always go to Canadian Tire and suffer the consequences- my choice is to have the pros at Corrado's do it right!

Went there for paint job and they did very horrible job when I asked about this job they said you need sanding work ...what a sanding job after final color... .......what a fiasco...don't go ..I'm trying to contact Consumer Affair Organization for complaints

Always prompt service and they take the time to find the root of the issue. We have phoned in a few time for advice prior to service as well and they take the time to answer questions and give direction. Grateful for their help when my vehicle needed fixing!

Corrado's is a great shop. They have treated both my wife and I very fairly and have completed our repairs quickly snd for a reasonable price. I definitely recommend using this shop for your repairs going forward.

$1338 for alternator and battery replacement. I hope that figure speaks for itself. Just got my car back today I would not recommend this place as several other places can get your car done faster and cheaper.
