The reason for the stars I have given comes solely down to a particular employee named Joanne! She was so friendly. helpful and kind. She went above and beyond her duties to assist me in store and had excellent, genuine customer service. I believe she is a real asset to the Chadstone team. I had to get her name as I left the store so that I could commend her to the appropriate personnel as her efforts made my hectic Christmas time much less chaotic and all of these months later- I still remember this positive experience. Some staff weren’t so helpful.

Overcharged me, were completely unapologetic tried to refuse to refund me the overcharge until I (politely) showed the staff member the consumer law showing them they have to give me the overcharge back. Once she realised she was in the wrong she was so rude despite me being quite polite. Basically threw a pen and receipt at me. Maybe needs some training on her attitude. Editing to add they’ve also given my click and collect away to some random, what a joke. Your staff need some serious training.

This store layout is really poor. If I didn’t have a voucher I would have walked out. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to put the children’s wear section up stairs with no ramp?! I had my baby in a pram and the location of the baby clothes was really impractical. I understand there is a lift for the one meter elevation but I really don’t think parents and those in wheelchairs should have to wait for a lift. The staff were friendly but also clearly frustrated by the layout.

Country Road Chadstone is an amazing store and the staff members are very friendly. The ambience and vibes are super good.....6 Star eco store this is....lots of good options.....Country Road also has a Good Business Journey initiative.....totally love this amazing Aussie fashion retail brand and this store is just amazing.....highly recommended and I always come visit this place when I come to Chadstone.....

Pretty horrible to place the childrens section at the back of the store where mothers have to carry their prams up steps and risk injury just to be able to shop at your store. can’t imagine this being wheelchair accessible either. In my 15 minutes at the store, I watched 5 other mothers lifting their prams as I was wondering if there was an alternative way to getting up after injuring my knee.

The worst customer service at Chadstone store. For a store that markets themselves as a premium store, they are really not providing customer service to go with the image. Been trying to reach their store for past 4 days to organise picking up a order. They do not answer their phones and when they do after 30 rings, someone just hangs up on you. Been hung up on 5 times. Very rude!!!

The worst service. I was in the changing room and needed a different size. Asked for help and the staff replied, “You are welcome to help yourself to it.” Zero service and what’s worst, I was with my 3 month old in a pram and that would mean I have to take the lift instead of the stairs to get it on my own. But isn’t it part of her job to assist? Shrugs v poor.

Just wanted to say how wonderful it was to be looked after and styled by Phorn Pen today , this lady truly is a massive asset to Country Road and I can't wait to come back again ! Really bad customer service at the cashier, the staff forgot to remove the anti-theft device, only found out when I arrived home, so I had to go back to the store again to remove it, but the staff at the counter treated me like a theft and did not even apologise for the inconvenience caused. Will never go to that store ever again!!!

Very happy with the service at Chadstone, one time I was served by two lovely gents in the men’s section even though I was waiting in the main section and didn’t need any men’s items they were still eager to assist, also been in other times and staff members are always very helpful and friendly. The store has a calm and nice energy.

Absolutely disgraceful. 1 star is far too much. Did not get acknowledged at all, even if the assistants saw us in our eyes. When walking pass us in tight space did not even day 'excuse me'. Have absolutely zero mannerism and customer service. Kudos to management for allowing such toxic culture.

They have taken away a ramp for prams to get up. Instead installed a mini lift that takes one pram and 10 mins to go up and down. We had 3 prams so ended up having to help each other carry our prams up and down the stairs. Aesthetics obviously means more to Country Road than practicability.

Your new model of no phones at stores is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Apparently to provide better customer service. What a joke. At least say so on a message. Or get rid of the phone number all together. Why advertise it on-line but don’t answer it?

I bought a beautiful shirt from the shop, however, I had to line up twice to pay. First time for 5 minutes then after the staff found the right size shirt for us, I had to line up again for another 15 min to pay. It was such waste of time and disappointing service.

I frequently visit this store and am never acknowledged by staff and can never get any help. Paying for my things is always a weird experience because the staff never friendly and are always having conversations between each other during my transaction.

Such a rip off. Go to any other store and you find the same items at half the price. Try to sell/ advertise clothing as high quality, cultural setting items but in actual fact is a massive rip off of other brands. Never going back.

Poor customer services. They are not there selling anything or helping people to find something. They don’t even want to talk. Then we know why so many Aussie owned brand has gone. Lack of management and competition. What a pity.

Poorest customer service I have ever experienced in country road. I asked a sales lady for slippers. She said country road never sell slippers and she does not own the company and has no idea. Highly disappointed. :-(

Everytime I go in there there's no sizes that I'm looking for and no one to greet you (on a weekend!) and no one to ask if you want help. Queue is extremely long with slow staff serving customers. Do better guys.

It's an ok store, I like that there are some warm items in winter made from synthetic materials (no animal products) but it was hard to find staff in such a big and spread out store for help

A lot has changed at Country Road but the Children's section is gorgeous and there are amazing gifts for kids that are really sweet.
