Beware, Dangerous Area! We stayed 3/10/2022 for four nights. Campground fronts I-17 and is very noisy. Driving to the park we noticed several homeless individuals camped about 2 blocks away adjacent to a gas station. Then at the turn into the park there’s a pedestrian bridge across I-17 where more homeless individuals were hanging out and camping. We asked the facility manager about nefarious activity with what we observed driving in. We’re told not much of a problem but to keep things locked up, especially bicycles. We were attending a weekend event and everything in town was sold out so we stayed. The next morning fellow campers told us about a break-in and theft two days ago at the site we occupied. Sunday at 1:30am we woke to many sirens, flashing police lights and a helicopter overhead. This continued until sunrise. We left for our event at 7am and the exit was blocked by 40+ police vehicles & crime tape. The police eventually guided us out. We checked the local news and learned two police officers were shot while attempting to stop a vehicle. Thankfully the officers had non-life threatening injuries and the suspects were caught with in a couple days. This inner city campground is not in a safe area. We recommend all avoid it. Thank you.

We stayed here for 5 months for work. Pros -close to downtown Phoenix (7 miles north), central to a lot of activities in the Phoenix area. -right off the I-17 making it easy to get around -greenery and trees for shade which was helpful in the hot summer -friendly owner and Rv stayers -level Rv sites -the pool is great! Clean and nice to cool off in -the pergola area was cozy and cute Cons -the area right outside the park is full of homeless and drug users. By the end of our stay the area was tagged with graffiti. It was uncomfortable to even walk outside the park itself so we stayed inside. It would have felt More secure if the park was gated or required a code to get in -there was only 1 functioning washer and 1 dryer in the laundry area during our 5 month stay and they ended up breaking at some point so we did our laundry off site. The machines were never fixed -the owner is not in the office often during the day so it was a bit difficult to get packages on time

Covered Wagon RV Park was a welcome respite from our boondocking Southwest adventure. Angie was very helpful and available to answer my questions. The laundry room was available every time I needed to use it despite only having one dryer out of 3 functioning. They have ordered new machines, so I really appreciated that they are addressing the issue. The bathrooms were clean and spacious with great water pressure. We are a family with 4 young kids and found it extremely difficult to find any parks in the area who would even allow our family in. Covered Wagon was accepting of our family which I was grateful for 100%. The park is waiting on permits to open up the pool, so we were not able to use it. My kids and I are hiking to return someday so we can experience that! The neighborhood is a bit rough, but we felt safe enough. I have seen complaints of noise but we did not experience any problems with noise. From booking to check out, this park was a breeze to navigate and I really appreciated their automated communicating via email, very helpful!

Moving the AZ from CO, we decided to live in our RV until we both secure jobs. We stumbled across Covered Wagon after looking at 20+ parks. All of the other parks were 55 or older (we are younger) or complete dumps. Covered Wagon is truly a diamond in the rough. Great prices, a pool, laundry facilities, showers, big sites with grass and large trees. There are a lot of extended stay RV’ers at the park which helps contribute to the safe and “homey” feel to the park. But what makes the park the best is the Manager Angy! She greets every arrival, helps you back into the site and get everything hooked up. If you are missing a part to hook up, she has one you can borrow until you get what you need. She knows everyone in the park, many of which are like family. Angy is always running around taking care of the park; trimming trees, repairing hookups, mowing, and stopping by just to say hi, there is no task too big or too small for Angy. We are very grateful to Angy and the owners for creating and maintainig such a great place!

My wife and were at Covered Wagon for about 10 months while I finished my clinicals before continuing on to travel therapy. This spot is one of the few that is not 55+. Angy is awesome and is super laid back and takes good care of the pool, which is small, but pretty clean and refreshing. The fruit trees by the office are also a nice addition. The only thing keeping the park from a 5/5 is the immediate homeless population and the fact that my wife’s bike was stolen from our bike rack. It took a long time for it to happen, but still happened. If the park was gated I would most likely be giving it a 5/5, but until then, security cameras simply aren’t enough. However, if you leave nothing of value outside this park is a great one to stay at. My motorcycle was outside for 9 months and no one tampered with it or tried to steal it, so crime here is really not that bad for Phoenix in general I would assume. You will be hard pressed to find a better park that isn’t age discriminated.

When visiting the metro Phoenix area, I always try to stay at the Covered Wagon RV Park. The on-site manager, Angy, is a gem who goes out of her way to help all, especially those new to RV'ing. Thanks to irrigation water from SRP, this desert park has many large shade trees which helps to mitigate the hot summer temperatures; other RV parks are just gravel and concrete. Yes, there are homeless people that sometimes wander around outside of the park. However, this is common for much of Phoenix as their city council doesn't criminalize sleeping in public right-of-ways. Additionally, the management walks the park at night. The Covered Wagon is situated off of I-17 which provides very convenient access to local attractions and serves as the main route to northern Arizona, including Sedona, Flagstaff, and the Grand Canyon.

My family and I stayed here for a few months while we found our permanent home, we all really enjoyed our stay. There's tons of trees that provide shade for most RV spots. My daughters loved the swimming pool, and the showers were updated and well kept. Angie (manager) treated us with respect and was very kind. It's in the heart of Phoenix which we absolutely loved. The convenience of being next to the freeway saved us a lot of time when going places. Roughly 10-15 minutes from downtown Phoenix , 10 minutes from castles and coasters. 20-30 minutes from PHX zoo, 15 minutes from downtown Glendale. Food city and Walmart are only 5 minutes away. The neighborhood was a little rough but we kept to ourselves and never encountered any problems. My family and I would most definitely recommend The Covered Wagon RV park.

  • Jon Pazaruski (Paz)

All the positive reviews I have read, are right on! GGreat trees, grass, pool,, everything is very clean, helpful and friendly staff, easy commute to all surrounding areas, I have to say the bathrooms are the nicest park bathrooms I have seen. They are unbearable to use in the summer months, they have a problem with r,v,ers forgetting there cats at the park, when they leave. This is not one of the most prestigious areas in Az. But it is a friendly , convenient, affordable park ,that I always feel safe in. The previous review was something that I just read today, and if I really have you a 1 star, I would give my reasons. I think reviews should be given by people that want to give reviews, and not be bothered by Google when I am hot ,busy, during normal work hours is very rude and had nothing to do with CWRVP.

My husband and I viewed the website and booked with Covered wagon based on these pictures and positive reviews. Who wrote the reviews?? We drove a long way. As we drove into the entrance we were immediately disappointed in the condition of the park. We were going to suck it up as they say until we were told that the occupant of our reserved space was not leaving until the next day but we were welcome to park at the side of a building until the next day!! I think I am most disappointed with the fact that she did not call us and let us know this fact and let us drive a long way to find this out with a 45" fifth wheel in tow. The park is basically beside a highway and they are not lovely shaded spots as shown in the pictures. Very disappointed and we would not recommend this park.

Family of 4 kids 12/14 booked stay for 3/10-3/12 of 2022. We planned on staying here for 2 nights to go to spring training. We pulled in and it was not exactly what we expected. Office was closed during office hours. A lady came around back pointed to our spot and that was it. My husband and son went golfing after we setup and the girls hung at the rv. After a few questionable moments and some gun shots heard followed by police it was time for us to leave. When the boys returned we broke camp and headed to a Walmart to boondock for the night in a much safer area. We are a seasoned RV family. Traveled for 6 years to the lower 48 around 65k+ miles. I would recommend the KOA or Walmart although a bit of a drive to get into the city much safer.

It's been 5 years last month since we were at this RV Park but if Ange is still part of the park I'm sure it’s just as good. A group of us were travelling across America in a campa van when we found this place. Very friendly and pleasant park, with a nice pool. When we first arrived we met Ange in the cabin and she actually dropped us off in the centre of Phoenix for a night out and picked us up at 3am. We hope she still remembers us, we certainly won’t forget Ange. We are now back in England and have subsequently named boats and a football team after Ange, to pay homage to what a great lady she was. Anyway, all that aside, a nice place in Arizona for a stop off.

This is no a fancy-schmantzy RV park. We had a delay on our trip and couldn't reach our planned destination. As the co-pilot it was my job to find a safe place with hookups. While darkness was settling on is I called EIGHT other RV parks before the Manager Gal answered at this one. She asked if I was able to book online so I did. Took less than 3 minutes. 24 minutes later we were off the road and parked. She walked us out to the spot and made sure we could find everything in the dark- even loaned us an adapter for power. Will stop here again. Thanks for answering the phone!! Note: Its close to the freeway exit but not noisy. It's possible 75% of spaces are filled by long-term renters, many RVs appeared unoccupied.

  • Geri Newlun

Very difficult to maneuver in. Sharp turns with units parked along the roadway. Difficult location. After the freeway exit we had to proceed down a frontage road and turn on a narrow residential street. No lit signage. Apartments and residential made for narrow streets. Cats roaming so my dogs went nuts and we had no place to walk them. No lighting so had to set up in the dark. The manager was patient as we didn’t put the right address in our gps and got lost. Her directions were confusing but she finally got us to our spot. Looks like long term residents. The pool is very small and uninviting. We’ll leave as soon as we wake up.

The manager is the best I've ever had the pleasure of meeting down to earth and a great person. The others around have no choice complaints only praises exspecially the lady from Alaska bless her dear heart and soul so very. Nice and caring hadn't met. Her for more than an hour she so sweet brought me a.boowl of spegetti and toast thank u so kind of u and I feel like a idiot cuz I forgot her name I will find out and add her name in tomorrow thank all of u at covered wagon camp site oh another thing .75 cent. Drink mechine how awesome is that I mean yes make money but here they don't wanna empty ur pockets by over charging I feel they under charge but that people being 100 no less thank you staff and campers

  • Barby Pickett

The bathrooms were amazing, clean, good water pressure and very functional. There are no pull thru sites, the back in sites are large and easy to maneuver. Angie is very friendly but she is not always available during office hours. The price vs value was just OK. The scheduling is bad. We made our reservation in January and in late April, our site was not available. Angie worked out a site for us but kept asking us when we were leaving. There were homeless people outside the campground. There were gun shots at 5 am. We were fine but it was alarming. On another note There are no convenient rv parks for baseball spring training or other activities in Phoenix. Not sure if I’ll stay there again,

  • Nico Plyley

This place does have some noise pollution being next to the freeway and may not be in the best area of town, but those do not effect my review since that's something that someone so be aware of just by looking at this place on a map. All the spots appear to be very well shaded and even with it being 100 out, I did not have to run my a/c all day due to the shade. The only down fall is the manager or owner seems to be hard to get in contact with sometimes. I tried to call and make a reservation with no response days before. I ended up showing up and she was on the office however other times during my stay it was hard to get in contact.

  • Shelley C (Shelley C)

We had a great experience at the park. The restrooms were clean and well kept, pool looked well kept. Angie showed up when we were backing in, she was great at helping us. Even let us borrow an extension cord. It’s in an older area of Phoenix, close to stores and restaurants. The lots had mature trees, which provided good shade! We felt comfortable in the park. Met a few long timers and they were friendly and helpful. Listen people….stop complaining about what the park can’t control, the weather (lots of winds blow debris), the mess and inconsideration of other campers and/or anything outside the park. We’ll stay there again.

  • Jennifer Kiefer

Angie is the BEST! Stayed here on New Year’s Eve and I was skeptical as I grew up in Phx and know this is a very sketchy neighborhood! But it is a DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! Lots of big trees, very relaxing. The manager, Angie even came back with medicine for my pups as the fireworks were a loud 5 hour event and they didn’t like it at all! I can’t wait to stay here again!!

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. It's the most central park in the Phoenix area that I've found and is convenient to a ton of things. All of the trees around the park were just awesome, loved the shade and some even had oranges! We especially appreciated being in walking distance of a dog park. There are some homeless outside of the grounds because of the proximity to the freeway but we never felt threatened/uncomfortable and never saw any issues within the park. Freeway noise fades into the background and is honestly to be expected given it's right in the middle of a city.

  • Ricky Waggoner

Hello folks , This RV park folks is one of the oldest family owned parks in Phoenix AZ . Not only the oldest but has to be the most comfortable, quite , laid back clean , all the above folks .In the past we've stayed here on a couple of occasions and loved it the park has a lot of trees & grass as well. This stay was exceptional great staff ( Angy ) worked her magic & was able to get us moved into a spot for a much longer stay . Bathrooms , pool , mail boxes , showers , vending machines, & wonderful staff like Angy is what makes this a 5 star RV park ! I highly recommend it !

  • Ed Sanchez

1 week in to a month long stay. So far, so good. Angie was helpful on the phone when I called to make my reservation and quick to get me checked in when I arrived. Minus a little bit of noise from the 17 (I'm on the east side of the park) it's a quiet place. Other RVers are respectful and keep the noise down. Some of the spots on the outer perimeter are a little tough to back in to so practice reversing if you haven't towed in a while (5th wheel). Definitely call ahead because they seem to be very busy and appears tough to get a space, especially for a month stay or longer.

  • Steve Garland

It is a small RV Park. But, it's layout is easy to get in and out. Angy, the on-site manager, is very friendly and helpful. She really made my stay enjoyable . I didn't see anyone just wondering around that didn't seem to belong there. There are monitoring cameras all around the property. It gave me a positive sense of security. In the office, Angy can monitor all the cameras, day or night. It is pet friendly. Surprisingly, being alongside I-17, it is very quiet because of the high barrier alongside I-17. The pool is just the right size for the number of RV spots.

  • Dusty Treese

Have to say this place was Just OK! Located in town! Right off the highway... Not in a great section of Phoenix. The owner will reply to Texts so don't bother calling her! Unfortunately we had a bad experience here. We got to witness a man have a heart attack do to a drug overdose.. he passed away! The transient people walking through the place makes ya want to lock your door! It has quite a few permanent residences... Don't settle for a place .... Do your homework! This spot is fine you are going to to settle! I would have rather stayed at a truck stop!

  • Adam Villalovas

We stay here on a regular and it just keeps getting better every time the manager Angie is such a great person she's went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable even with the homeless people right outside the gate they're made well aware there is no trespassing and they are respectively aware I usually say prayers for everybody extra prayers get sent out seeing the sadness go on throughout their lives I've made a couple of acquaintances throughout them everybody there for their own reasons God bless you guys wish you all the best

  • Glenna Kamholz

Arrived same day as reservation. No one at office. Ended up just picking an open spot. No one at office during business hours or evening. Power was weak at pole. Bathrooms are unisex and key coded. One of 2 was not functional. Park small and not in a high quality neighborhood. Gunshots and police helicopters on our one night say. No acceptable overflow area. Felt really bad for the couple who arrived aver us as they just had to setup on the road in front of the bathhouse. Bathhouse had poor ventilation and was in need of cleaning.

  • Yoseph Atreyu

Super friendly manager accommodated us last minute, she even offered to drive us to a tourist destination rather than get an Uber. Beautiful fruit trees through out the property, lemons, oranges, peaches. Small pool to cool down in summer that is safely fenced off. While it didn't bother me, there are only two unisex toilets which can form a line in the morning and evening, with some of the longer term residents, and visitors. Also, many friendly cats seem to congregate in the area, but luckily they didn't make a peep overnight.

  • Shelly Bailey

Checked in on line. No one was at the office. Note on door said to call or text and someone would get back with you. I left a voicemail for bathroom codes and Wi-Fi password. No one responded so I text 3 times, left another voicemail then sent an email. No response. We were there 3 days!! First night we heard 5 rounds of gunfire go off about 9:30pm on the other dude if the wall. Park is ok with large trees but expect no response from management. Next time in Phoenix we will stay somewhere else.

  • Garrett

Angie, the owner, is a total sweetheart. Called her around 6PM and said I would be coming by after my workout to fill up my camper van at her water station. Ended up getting stuck out til 10PM. Still picked up the phone when I got there and still allowed me to fill up my van for free. Not many people provide that level of customer service. Looking forward to meeting her next time through Phoenix and tipping her the money I owe her! Thank you Angie!!!

  • Cora Breezley

This is an older RV park. Spots are back in only & very close to each other. We drove by to check out the park before we booked reservations. Let’s just say I was glad we did this. Not a very friendly looking group of people staying here that we saw. Not sure would even recommend this for an over night place. Hard to find and way off the main traffic flow. Definitely not a place for larger Motohomes or Travel Trailers.

  • Dennis Moore

Spooky place, I can't believe anyone would give this place 4 stars, it's in a terrible neighborhood you felt like you would get shot if you stayed there very long. It was impossible to contact them because their voicemail box was full, they had no vacancies, but the only you'd discover that was too show up and ask. It is right next to the freeway, very cramped, We're glad we didn't stay there. It's truly awful.

  • Becky Hanes

Angy is the best, has definitely gone down hill since new ownership. Who closes a pool in summer in Phoenix??? Pool is not kept up or clean. No waters or dryers work. Who wants to talk a shower with water bubbling up. NASTY I feel sorry for angy in the office

The only good thing going for this place is that they have shaded areas other than that the place is a total dump. Would not recommend this campground there’s homeless walking through the campground whenever they want. The whole entire layout is terrible if you have a bigger rig it’s impossible to navigate the park. The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful looked a little high or drunk to me

  • Tom Maiellaro

The reservation system was easy to use, but the description of the park and the surrounding area was way off base. First, the park is surrounded by people standing in the street corners and pushing grocery store carts. Second, we drove up and everything looked clean and well kept, but then we saw several RV’s with there windows covered with tinfoil. Needless to say, we kept driving and didn’t stay.

  • Rhonda Clower

The manager may be nice but we were looking at different RV parks to possibly move to, and this place is an un-kept DUMP. The grass was tall and looked like a pasture and tree limbs touching most RV"s and located in a very seedy neighborhood with gang tags everywhere. These people leaving positive reviews must have grown up in the hood in St Louis or Chicago........Lets be truthful here folks......

  • Veronica Perez

Stayed here overnight Thursday to Friday as we had business to take care of Friday morning. We came in late at night and had no problem getting set up. The host was super responsive to our text and even allowed us a late check out free of charge. The area is not the best but I really appreciated the spot itself and the friendly host. Would stay for a quick over night again if needed.

  • Candy Wanker-Rayburn

This was in a very unsafe area. The park was right next to the freeway and there were old un cared for RVs parked everywhere along side the very narrow drive ways and peoples stuff everywhere. Over grown grass but there were a few trees. The price was way to high, especially for the condition of the park. The man who pointed to our site was nice. Sorry for the bad post but not good.

Stayed for one night because we were desperate and they had a spot. Mostly full time residents but the manager Angie is really nice and got us in. Trees need to be trimmed back but we do have a very tall rig and Angie agreed it needs to be done. Residents we interacted with were all really nice and even though not in the best area we felt safe

It was hard to find a place for last minute booking that was safe and clean but I’m very lucky to have found Covered Wagon RV park in Arizona. Place felt safe and the facilities were clean and well maintained. It helps to have a office on site to assist guest. Angy was very friendly, courteous and accommodating. Will definitely book again!!!

  • Ashley Mayes

The office manager was nice and people staying there seemed friendly, rv spots are very level. With that being said this place is overpriced for what you get, the amenities are sub par and location is not great. Had to wait an hour past check in for our spot to open. Keeping your dog on a leash is also apparently just a suggestion.

  • Phyllis Balagna

We had a very positive experience at The Covered Wagon RV Park. Angy, the manager, goes above and beyond to make sure every person is taken care of. The entire park is well-kept, with very clean bath houses. If ever in the Phoenix area, I highly recommend making the Covered Wagon RV Park your home away from home.

  • Dalfrado De-Duddy

Nice staff, helpful and welcoming..helped with setting our class A in our spot.. nice park, covered with beautiful trees for shade, helped keep our coach cool..grass and a concrete patio/slab for chairs and table..even had refuge containers for longer term guest. We will be back..price was even low.. thank you .

  • John Becker

My parents are currently staying here while visiting me from out of state. Nice RV park located in a convenient though somewhat sketchy area, but the owner really seems to put out a good effort to keep things safe and nice within the park. They're really enjoying their stay and already planning their return!

  • Bob Porter

It's not a "5 Star Resort" but it's in the middle of Phoenix, it's a older mature park, nice trees, green grass not a punch of HOT ROCK out in the boiling sun somewhere swank! So if you need a nice quite urban oasis give the Covered Wagon RV Park a try! Hey I grew up in a lot worse "Mobile Home" parks!

  • Rachel Faller

Nice enough RV park, but location wasn’t the best. Front entrance doesn’t have a gate, and there was a small community of people living under an overpass about 100 ft from the entrance. That being said, we did not encounter any problems during our stay. Almost all spaces have shade. Pool was decent.

  • steve forbes

This park is great. Quiet and peaceful. Clean and updated restroom/hot shower. Angy is amazing. She dropped whatever she was doing in order to help us out. She even became our private chauffeur for the night. A lovely lady with her trusty friend "Lucky" . Would go back in a heartbeat. …

  • Tammy Gonzalez

Adorable!! Well kept, sweet, charming area! Trees are large and mature. Some are on their way out, but are being replaced. Hard to believe I'm in downtown Phoenix sitting here sipping my coffee. I don't have a lot of reason to come here, but when I do- you'll see us at Covered Wagon again!

  • 123 vincnt

Lots of shady characters here walking around all hours of the night. Management is sketchy. And it's right next to the freeway and some really rough apartment lots of kids walking around stray cats and dogs. It just feels dingy and out of date. For what it's worth that's my two cents

  • April Clark

We stopped in here for 1 night and we were very pleased. Angy was very sweet & helpful. The park is quiet, clean, and manicured nicely. The area is a little sketchy outside of this park, but we felt safe at all times. We were grateful to be able to stop in here late in the evening.

  • Justin Attardi

The neighbors a quiet and friendly. The the pools is nice. It's nice than you expect for the price. My only complaint is about the laundry facilities. You can't really do more than a load at a time pretty much so if you have multiple loads laundry will be an all day chore.

  • S N

I resided at Covered Wagon for about 4 months with my sister and children. It is affordable and conveniently located which balanced out the dumpy neighborhood. There are plenty of trees. The bathrooms and pool were always cleaned. Management is nice and responsive as well.

Great little park. This park wins for lots of SHADE trees!! Good rates. Nice pool and clean restrooms with double showers. The surrounding area is a little rough but the people in the park are super friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would park here again if in the area.

A nice surprise in midtown Phoenix. Convenient to pretty much everything. The laundry area was clean. The bathroom I used had a stopped up sink but it was Easter weekend and was cleaned up after. Lots of green areas and trees. Quiet and pleasant.

The host is very nice. I haven't camped there but I empty my tanks there for $10 since I stay right down the street. Park is very clean and quiet. Probably the best park in the Phoenix area. All the others are snobby because of my older 1998 RV.

We loved this place. Found this little gem on vacation two yrs ago. It's BIG enough, and just small enough that the office knows who you are. We are retired, and want to become snowbirds. Can't wait for an opening so we can come back.

The Park is located in a heavily populated urban setting. I kept everything under lock and key, just to be safe. The Park is near almost everything I needed, and Phoenix is easy to get around in. I stayed here in a travel trailer.

I stayed here overnight, this was a great park, I pulled in about 9:00 pm. Angy, the park manager was so awesome so nice and helpful. This park is well maintained, the bathrooms are modern very nice and clean. I enjoyed it.

I got to pet the cats and I think the manager called my mom and idiot when she tried to figure out where our spot was so overall it was an okay 15 minutes before we cancelled and slept in a Jamba juice parking lot.

I forgot to snipe some pics but it be reletivly clean as can be for a park n ride that's for free if you please but don't sneeze without shootin the breeze with the fellow copper coming up on you likea shoplifter

Hidden gem in the middle of Phx. A little oasis of grass and mature trees in the heart of the desert. We didn't use the restroom or showers but the pool looked clean and the people were friendly. We'll be back.

  • Andrew Holloway

We arrived late without reservation and Angy found us space last minute. Overall our experience was excellent and Angy went out of her way to help us when we needed it. Would highly recommend this RV park.

  • Gerald Armenta

Just got back from a camping trip from Bartlett lake and needed to dump the waste. We got here and the manager helped us with no trouble, and we got the job done. Great RV park. I recommend you come here

  • Ben Chaltraw

Green grass, space between units, managers should retire and let someone who likes people run the place. Lots of homeless people hanging out on the street, police helicopters are a weekly occurrence.

  • Dago R

Very exclusive place .You have to be white to be considered or placed on the so called waiting list. Even though there are available spaces.Guess I was not light skinned enough to be considered!

  • Robert Moore

Stayed two nights while visiting family, park was clean, owners were friendly and helpful. Don’t let the location or proximity to the interstate fool you, this is a nice place to stay.

  • Michael Harris

Excellent service, surprisingly clean and nice bathrooms, very nice grass and shade trees. The only downside is how loud the freeway is, and that can be avoided with some ear plugs

  • Michelle Ashcraft

This is an RV park. Plenty of trees for some shade. Everyone is friendly and welcoming :)

We really enjoyed staying at covered wagon. It was close to everything including Grand Canyon University, restaurants and shopping. We can say Angie was a wonderful hostess.

  • Natosha Friedenstab

Great staff, helpful and friendly. Haven't seen another RV park with such nice landscaping in Az. Pool is very refreshing and community restroom is always stocked and clean.

  • Erica Blickendurfer

This park is not a safe place to stay!!! The late night traffic back by the office is a huge concern! Not sure what exactly is going on, but I wont be there to find out!

  • kay Sharp

Run well...secure and peaceful as well as quiet..we hope each year to spend a month visiting our children who live nearby..our favorite go to destination in Phoenix.

  • Marie Campbell

Owner was responsive, polite and helpful. This is a cute little rv Park. Spots are tight, but it is all you need in the middle of Phoenix. Will be back for sure.

  • MR. Biscuit

Traffic noise right on top of each other not a nice place to be. Look for other places. Did not feel safe her as a chair went missing the few after pulling in.

  • Yvonne Miranda

We were there one night only. The area was kept picked up and neat however it is an old rv park in not so great neighborhood. Felt it was over priced.

  • Rainbow Pest Control

We enjoyed our stay as much as possible when it was 115°, but thank you so much for the hospitality. Angie is awesome and so is the rest of the folks

  • Donna Keeler

Stayed there for a month, loved it. Angy is so friendly and helpful, rates are great and they have grass in Phoenix. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

  • Joel

This place was good for an overnighter. Good pit stop when we got into town late. The bathroom and showers were exceptionally well taken care of too.

  • Andrew Worley

Needed a quick overnight with full hook-ups. Office was very helpful getting us set. Super clean bathrooms...always a huge plus …

  • Bart Eijk

Great and kind owner. Check-in was very smooth. Most sites have a tree, so some shade is provided. Toilets and showers were spotless.

  • Geromie Isom

nice small RV place near downtown. Only reason not 5 stars is it's not in a great part of town. I'll know more once I move in. …

  • John Stacy

I halved pulled RV out of this park as a professional RV transporter the park seamed clean and quiet. Thank You Bulldog RV Transport

  • janet arizaga

We havd a family emergency and Angie made sure we could fit in the park somewhere. Hospitality was great. Price is fair.. Thank you

  • JESSE YBARRA

This place always is accomodating when friends come to town pulling a travel trailer. It is near the freeway and very large spaces.

  • Kitia Reynolds

Manager was super accommodating on short notice. We only stayed one night but we've glad we found them. Bathrooms were clean.

  • Francisca Ortega

Extremely Reserved Park. Community members stick together and communicate for a safer enviroment. Its very Peaceful. GOOD JOB

  • Judy Cook

Covered Wagon RV Park is clean, quiet, spacious and very accommodating. Angie is a great manager. We will see her next year.

  • Glenna Wireman

When I return to Phoenix, this is the R.V park for us. Angie, a superb host. Dog friendly, people friendly like home.

  • Stefan Cseh

Nice people in a rough neighborhood. Inside lots or closer to office better then next to west Wall of the apartments.
