This car park is quite large with plenty of parking bays even during busy week days. For residents in Wollert, this location is very convenient as it's only a few minutes drive for a guaranteed parking bay when compared to driving to Epping Station and having to park on the street. My first negative comment is that it's quite a walk to and from the Craigieburn Station, as the car park has only one entrance/exit on the corner of Craigieburn Rd East. So the car park starts to fill from this end and if you park on the other end, the walk could be as long as approximately 800m to the platforms. The other issue is security - despite CCTV being in operation, I have seen many cars broken into, with shattered glass on the ground. Therefore, reconsider parking here overnight, and if you have to, make sure you don't leave anything inside the car that would encourage a break-in. Walking back to the car park alone at night could be risky at night because some areas are poorly lit (especially under the Sydney Rd overpass). Overall, it's a good place to park your car during the day, if you don't mind the long walk. Arrive as early as possible to find a parking bay closer to the exit.
New carpark for the Craigieburn station. The only negative point is its a bit far from the station, but that can be overlooked because at least there is a parking spot always available because its HUGE! I have only used it in daytime and felt safe, can’t say how it would be in the dark as its a bit of a walk with no local foot traffic or market or anything around. But there are cameras throughout the parking and all the way to the station.
