How can I describe how horrendous this business has become. My review is the culmination of a long-term relationship. For background, my insurance company authorized repairs there. I thought my car had been repaired. During a rainy period, I found mold growing inside my car. It was gross, sickening and dangerous. I took my car back to Service King, the predecessor of Crash Champions, and was told that one of their employees did not replace a rear light assembly properly resulting in a hole that allowed rainwater to collect in the trunk wheel well to depths of over 4 inches. This shop agreed to correctly install the rear light assembly and offered to environmentally detail my car. I was again involved in an accident several months later and set up an appointment in February 2023 for the repairs and detailing. I needed to move my appointment date to two days later but was told they could not get to my car until the end of March 2023. I confirmed that this would include my car being environmentally detailed. On the day of the appointment, I arrived and the receptionist phoned Enterprise for my rental. The rental agent arrived and I loaded my belongings into the vehicle. The rental agent went back into the shop then came out and told me that Crash Champions could not “get” to my car. I had to unload the rental car while the Enterprise employee watched and get back into my wrecked vehicle. I tried to speak to the manager but it seems one does not exist. I have never been treated with such disrespect but the mistreatment continued. I determined that I would not have the work performed there for a multitude of reasons including the prior poor repair resulting in the mold/mildew issue, total disrespect, failure to provide the offered detailing, lack of regard for my time and the wait I had to endure for the repair. I chose another body shop and arrived there the following week for a scheduled appointment. The employee I spoke with phoned Enterprise to have my rental brought to me. She advised that Enterprise told her there was a problem. I immediately phoned Enterprise and was told I was on a “do not rent” list and was referred to a risk management person. This person was out of the office on vacation and no one else could seem to help me. I contacted the insurance company and they provided a rental to me from another agency. This has been such a crazy ordeal. I do not know the policies or reason behind the actions of Enterprise but am only left to believe this situation came about due to the removal of the mold/mildew from my car being the responsibility and cost to Service King/Crash Champions even after being advised they would take care of it. Again, I never asked them to have that done. It was their idea. I still have not received any notification that they will take care of the mold/mildew issue nor have I heard a word from them since this ordeal. Obviously, I would never go back there plus it is located in a dangerous part of Nashville where I do not feel safe. If you take your car there, please be very careful, mindful and watchful. I hope this never happens to anyone else.
This place was recommended by my local auto dealer to have a small repair done on the bumper of my Mercedes. Originally one of the shop managers, Greg, informed me they would have my repair done in a week to ten days. It ended up taking them almost an entire month to fix my vehicle. They constantly failed to inform me or give me up to date and accurate information on the status of my repair, and misled me about when I could expect my repair to be finished. At one point I was hours away from picking up my car, having just received an email from the shop saying my vehicle was scheduled to be picked up that day, upon calling the shop Rick informed me they would need my vehicle for another two weeks. The employee tasked with keeping me informed about where my vehicle was in the repair process, Rick, on multiple occasions did not keep promises he'd made to call and give me an update, or update the status of my repair within their system. I'm fairly certain they did not do anything on my car for the first week they had my vehicle because the insurance company had not even spoke to them about updating the quote for the repair. In order to make any head way I had to get in contact with the regional manager for the company, Bryan. He also was poor with communication, I had to make multiple phone calls in order to get in touch with him even though I was promised on several occasions he would return my call. The bottom line is In order to get my car back, I had to get in touch with the regional manager to make sure he would stay on the shop in Nashville in order to get my car fixed. The Regional manager, Bryan promised to reimburse me for some unanticipated expenses I incurred due to the length of time of the repair but as soon as I had paid and picked up my car he never responded to the email I'd sent him when he told me to forward him receipts. This place is dishonest and clearly doesn't care about their customers or the situations they put them in. I strongly warn anyone considering using this shop to get a repair. 11/06/2019 EDIT: Bryan, the regional manager, ended up mailing me a check for the expenses I incurred due to the repairs being behind schedule, and was apologetic for the inconveniences I incurred.
I could not more strongly recommend doing business with ECR. I recently built a house and have had to sue my builder - Alan Looney and Castle Homes. Doing business with Alan Looney and Castle Homes has been the absolute worst experience anyone could possibly imagine. MY POINT: working with ECR was exactly opposite of that experience. It was truly "refreshing" to work with people (Heather and Kelly) who are HONEST, ETHICAL, COMPETENT, and KNOWLEDGEABLE. Although I have "yet" to do business with ERC, Heather went out of her way to give me a very aggressive estimate on my Range Rover. One that came in well below my expectations. Kelly is the smartest person that I have ever met as it relates to auto repair and bodywork. After evaluating my vehicle, he gave me several different recommendations and options. All of which were focused on what would be the best and most cost effect way for me. He even encouraged me to get additional bids outside of ERC so that I would feel comfortable with what is best. He took time to tour me around the ERC facility which was the cleanest most well organized auto repair shop I have ever seen. FYI, unlike "things" that I have recently experienced, their work is of the highest quality. You can tell they actually care. Again, it was "refreshing" to interact with people (Heather and Kelly) who want to go above-and-beyond for their customer instead of merely doing and/or always trying to do the very least that is required. People (Heather and Kelly) who have your best interest at heart instead of conducting themselves fraudulently just so they can make more money. Before leaving ECR, Kelly helped me with contacts that could help me with several items outside of ECR's scope of work. I have since made contact with those referrals and could not be more pleased. Because of Heather and Kelly - I could not more strongly recommend ECR!
Bryan, Nathan, Chris, and Sean were a pleasure to work with. I brought my Audi in on an insurance claim after someone vandalized my door and the team at ECR took a frustrating situation and turned it into a truly positive one. From managing timelines and expectations with me, communicating with the insurance company daily, and above all, repairing my door to utter perfection, European Collision Repair treated me and my beloved wagon like we were the only case in their shop—which was obviously far from the reality. They gladly accepted my 2005 Allroad, while every other shop I spoke to in Nashville wouldn’t, given it being a European car older than a 2010. They even found parts that would otherwise be deemed unavailable and out of production in order to fully complete the repair. Nathan went as far as repairing a broken cargo cover on my behalf—something completely unrelated to the damages my car was taken in for that really brought a smile to my face. Bryan even called to check in and thank me for my patience throughout the process. Anyone even remotely enthusiastic about their car or cars in general knows how unsettling it can be handing off your baby to a shop that wants to move you through as quickly as possible. Well, this isn’t that shop. ECR prioritizes quality of service and body work over all else, and because of that, I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
Geico sent me here. I should have picked my own place. The estimated time to complete the repair was four to six weeks (supply issues doncha know). I didn't hear anything for almost a month. I had to call numerous times, email, and text to get a date for pickup. On that date I only had to call and text to get someone who said there was a backorder issue (supply issues doncha know) and technically my car wouldn't be ready for another month! But lucky for me they were going to just put an old (wrecked) part back on and then they needed to put everything back together. Give them four more days. Four days later I call four times and leave messages as well as text before being told "We need to finish the reassembly process. Give us a couple more days." The extra four days was for "completing the reassembly process!!! What they don't seem to realize is that the ink scratches on their paperwork are people. And this person is trying to schedule a ride, schedule job interviews, schedule doctor's appointments, etc.!! Mind you, I haven't even gotten my car back so I don't even know if they've "performed the reassembly process" correctly. At this point, I'm not confident.
I had the worst experience with ECR. My car was hit in a parking lot in September and I went through my insurance to have my bumper repaired. Once the estimate was approved by my insurance company I was told a date and time by ECR to drop off my car and was told it was a 3-5 day repair. My entire ordeal just ended - a month later. ECR lied to me and my insurance company multiple times and spent the first two weeks "waiting for parts" that should have been ordered before I even dropped off my car. They then got the wrong parts multiple times and did not communicate to my insurance company along the way that they needed supplemental forms completed. They also failed to contact me or communicate with me at all during this entire process. I had to call them every time to see what was happening with my car and multiple times I was told someone would call me back and no one did. They have too many cars in their shop and can not handle repairs in a timely and efficient manner. More importantly they can not accept responsibility for anything and continued to blame the insurance company for their own short-comings. DO NOT GO TO ECR!!!
Brian and the team and European Collision Repair have been phenomenal to work with. If I could give more than 5 stars I would do so! I have a Signature Series Model S Tesla, and I am obviously very particular about the quality of the work that is done on the car. The quality of the work was impeccable, and moreover - I understand that after they had done the repair, it didn't meet their final quality control, and they tweaked it so it would be essentially perfect. And it is! There are only a few hundred cars in the world with "Signature Red Paint" and mine is one of them, and they matched it, as above, perfectly. And, they told me of their 30 day guarantee. Tesla door handles are rather finicky and while that has nothing to do with the smashed door, they are fixing that as well. Best yet, the pick up and deliver the car, and since I am always busy, that is a tremendous convenience for me. So, I hope I never need them again (meaning I hope I don't have any more body damage) but if I did have any need for a repair facility, without hesitation I would call them first!
As long as Tracy is working here this place will succeed. He's the best ever. I went here after having a nightmare of a time at another repair shop. He and his team checked the repair and assured me it was fine and then repaired new damage. The little things matter with them and that's great. They organized my trunk. I had everything back there...(papers, pens, bags, hair ties, first aid kit etc). They put everything nicely in bags and vacuumed and wiped down the interior. The repair was done and I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to repairs and Tracy offered to take it back and redo it. Rented me a car and even gave me a ride to the rental place. I wish he could be cloned and put into other repair places around Nashville. ECR is a certified Tesla repair shop. There are Teslas just parked there all the time along with other high end cars. I don't plan to ever need ECR again but if I do, I know they'll be there. It's a bright spot on Murfreesboro Pike for sure.
Follow up; I went to pick up my car and it looked absolutely amazing!! There are some scratched parts under the hood, bumper has a gap, and roof is scratched up a bit but nothing we can’t address. Ken was apologetic for the initial experience which is admirable. I am truly amazed about the work they have done! At this point I am thinking maybe we just had a rough start:) amazing work everyone!! Thank you Estimate started with Ken and actual Repair started around 3-13-19; no communication what so ever unless I call myself; “promised” pick up date has changed 4 times already; promised phone call today (4-16-19) didn’t happen. The sad part I’m beyond upset an frustrated. I am grateful for other people that had an amazing experience with ECR yet I’m not one of them and can not recommend this shop. I can’t wait to pickup my vehicle and close this chapter!
Nate the Great, Stephanie and Jeramiah are an incredible team that will go above and beyond with their service and communication to make sure the job is done right. We brought our Mercedes E300 in after a collision since they are a Mercedes certified shop. After 12 weeks of dealing with our insurance companies unwillingness to cooperate with us and the shop, the whole team still brought excellent communication to the table and went to bat for us against the insurance company to make sure they paid out what they were supposed to. Not only did they finish up that car, but Nate also advised us on an issue with our CR-V that the dealership had quoted $4K for, and found a simple solution for a great price. I can't recommend this shop enough.
Bryan and Greg are both great and extremely courteous. I know they would've made my car look perfect if they were given the chance. However, I am very dissatisfied with the system. I brought my car to be repaired after a wreck and it was deemed to be totaled. I went to pick up the car today intending to continue driving it a little beat up only to find out it was in pieces. They were not allowed to put my car back together again for liability reasons, so they gave it to me 100x worse looking with all the parts in the trunk of my car. It is illegal to drive now because a headlight is missing. I wish they could've told me it was totaled without taking the entire front part of my car off.
Horrible experience. -- A bunch of parts ordered incorrectly -- Forgot to order various parts then ordered the wrong parts -- Overall Bryan was OK, silver lining -- Lamborghini original estimate was 4 months, ended up finally getting done after 11 months. That is $60k of Loss of Use alone. -- After the Lambo was back, then took several attempts to get the indicator light, the roof didn't work and kept jamming, the hood gasket seal never replaced and the trunk shroud component -- As of 11/7/2020 this company is still despised by myself and multiple individuals I know who had equally bad experiences.
The place did a wonderful job with replacing the parts damaged on my Lexus IS 350. They are amazing at noticing all the details of your vehicle and they know what it takes to get your car in perfect condition. They corrected some paint, cleaned my headlights, and waxed my car all out of courtesy before giving it back. They also knew the answer for every question I asked them which I found very valuable because I got to learn details about the car that are useful. Customer service was wonderful, this is a very trustworthy shop. They have high respect for their customers, would totally recommend!
ECR handled a custom install on a spoiler for me and really came through. We hit a snag when while removing the old spoiler they found holes drilled from the factory that would have to be filled. They called me down and had me check before they proceeded with any further work. A few days later I went to pick up the car and was surprised that they washed and waxed the car and had her looking showroom fresh. Super friendly staff and they make sure their work is right; body work was perfect. Would not hesitate to take my car back for anything. Thank you!
man these guys are great! Some of the best people to work with and they do incredible work. My first time i had to use them was when i had bumper replacement on my tesla due to a hit and run. They took care of it from soup to nuts. Then most recently when my tire was flat and had a tow, my front bumper had to get fixed. They took care of that. Today they just wrapped up my cracked mirror and fendor. Since I don't live in nashville, they've worked really hard to ensure they can finish everything within a tight timeframe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
I received amazing service from Bryan, who's the general manager, and, specifically, one of the technicians, Kelly. Both were beyond helpful and courteous, and they took the time to thoroughly investigate and diagnose my Tesla's issue. They also took even more time to thoroughly explain it to me ... I especially appreciate that there was no "mansplaining"! This company is one of the very few in the Nashville area that's certified to work on Teslas -- and the level of service and knowledge tells me why.
I brought my Porsche Cayenne here after a very low speed parking lot accident. The pictures show the original damage, their “finished” paintwork with dozens of sanding marks (video), and the “finished” headlight with a half inch gap at the seal and aimed incorrectly. They repainted the hood but damaged other panels. I have more pictures of their defective work but it’s hard to photograph paint and you get the point. I’m told they won’t honor their warranty now because they’re being acquired.
ECR did a wonderful job matching the paint on my vehicle, which is a VW GTI Rabbit special edition. They returned my car to me earlier than they had expected and had waxed the entire car, which made the paint job look really great. Also, before I drove off with my repaired vehicle, they were so nice to check the tire pressure to make sure the tires were ok in the cold weather. Could not be more pleased with the repair and customer service.
ECR did a great job repairing my brand-new, convertible Mercedes that had been backed into. But just as importantly to me, when there was a problem, they were very professional and kind and worked hard to make it right. Honestly, every company is going to make a mistake at some point, the difference is in how they handle it and ECR handled it exceptionally. I highly recommend this company.
These guys are great at what they do!! I had extensive work done on my truck with this shop. They went above an beyond on keeping in touch with me as far as the current state of where my vehicle was at an what was going on with it. I highly recommend this shop to everyone!!! They will treat you an your vehicle like your part of the family!!! # Customerforlife.
Had a terrific experience with ECR last week. They were able to get me in, and look at my issue within a few hours of calling - same day. Identified the problem quickly. The replacement part was available so they drove 30 minutes round-trip to pick it up so the repair could be made while I waited. Terrific people and service! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! John
Bryan, the general manager, is one of the friendliest, most articulate customer service reps I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and assisted me personally through every step of the process. I never felt out of the loop or uninformed. I cannot recommend ECR enough! Also, he is Tesla certified :)
This place is amazing! Their communication is great! They had it done early and it looked and smelled like a brand new car when I got it back. They were very proactive about working with insurance to get the job done on time. ECR alleviated a lot of stress for me during this collision repair. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back!
Incredible service and workman ship from this top-notch company! Greg and Brian kept me informed frequently on the status of my automobile, and assured me only the best parts and workmanship. They did not disappoint. Extremely happy with their work! I highly recommend bringing your luxury automobile to ECR for repairs, you won’t regret it.
ECR took my car in and stayed in constant communication with me throughout the process. Greg, the parts manager called and updated me twice weekly on progress which I much appreciated. I drive a higher end Mercedes so if you have a luxury European or Telsa they are the place to go!!
Nathan and Chris saved the day. I was in an accident and my driver door wouldn’t open. No auto shop had availability until mid August or September. Nathan and Chris worked with me and got my door open. They were the nicest people to work with. I recommend their services.
All around highly recommend this body shop! Quality of work is great -- my vechicle looks and drives like new! Of course No one wants to deal with Getting repair work done after an auto accident but ECR honestly made the experience very pleasant!
Came here to get my headlights buffed and SHELLEY did AMAZING! My headlights were yellow and foggy and wasn't sure if they could be buffed to look like new again. Turns out, they can. Will return to take advantage if his great work.
Very pleased with our repairs and we'd definitely bring our car here again. It took a little while, but it was well worth the wait. The car looks as good as it did when we bought it. Nice job ECR …
Stephanie and her team always do an outstanding job on my vehicles! I've had everything from minor paint work to major body repairs and it everything is always perfect. Best body shop in Nashville!!
Would give 5 stars but USAA and ECR did NOT coordinate with us the unstated "rules" about rental car depending entirely on repair parts being IN HAND, which interferred with our travel plans.
I can’t tell you how much Bryan and his staff went above and beyond to make my overall experience excellent. I will alway go to this location for all future service.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I WOULDN'T TAKE ANYTHING TO THEM. THEY AVOID YOU AND ARE VERY DISHONEST!!! COMMUNICATION IS TERRIBLE!!! THEY SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN!!!
These guys are professionals. Wouldn't trust my vehicle with anyone else. They can handle import body work better than any other body shop in town.
Thorough and sweet folks at European Collision Repair I Highly recommend ECR Nashville to repair BMW or any Euro Vehicle!!!
The owner is a good guy, excellent work! He explained everything as if we been knowing each other for years
Friendly Informative staff. Really helped out with my collision loss issues with my insurance company.
Great job fixing my car. The only downside is that it took forever. But the end result was very good.
Very happy with the work done on my Subaru. Would recommend these folks to anyone.
they said it would take 7-9 days and they had the car for alomost 3 weeks.......
Took my BMW here, they did a great job and the customer service was excellent.
Quick and high quality repair to my Tesla bumper.
Very professional and nice to deal with.
Top notch work! These guys are awesome!!
