We had preordered a cake for a 60th wedding anniversary. Luckily we didn't pay as when we went down to confirm to the cake at the bakery at they were closed for two weeks with no notice. No phone call nothing. We tried to email and call and no answer. We went to thunders bakery and they accommodated us INCREDIBLY and made the cake with in two days notice. Really disappointing and poor business.

Popped down this morning for the first time after seeing a post on Facebook....I was not disappointed! The apple puffs where so fresh and tasty, the milk bread was just as my mam had remembered and the brown bread is to die for! Lovely gentleman served me. I’ll be back for more goodies soon. Keep up the good work lads …

Amazing cakes made fresh every morning. Pat mixes his own ingredients to makes his bread and cakes unlike a lot of bakeries that buy in ready mix. The cream sponges are literally to die for as are the apple and rhurbarb tarts. 3 small cream cakes for €5. Lovely staff, fabulous cakes....you have to make this your local bakery.
