I came by to discuss selling a car to the owner of Crest Auto on a Saturday. We agreed on a price and shook hands on a deal. After that, I left my keys with them and they removed my license plate. The bank was already closed so we made plans to make the sale on Monday. On Monday morning, I texted him asking to set up a time to meet up as we discussed multiple times to make the official sale. He then tried to tell me we never agreed to a sale and that we would need to wait and find out if there were any oil leaks. The car had already been there for 48 hours at this point but I asked how much longer he would need. After several attempts, he would not respond with a timeframe. Instead, he simply insisted I was being "too demanding" and that the deal was no longer on the table. The reality was that the car had been repainted (which we discussed) and he ended up changing his mind on buying it. I ended up having to drive way out of my way to get my car back and put the plates back on after leaving it with them for a full weekend. To this day, the owner still insists that I somehow mixed up his words even though it was made excruciatingly clear to both me and the friend that came along with me. If he had simply admitted that he changed his mind on the deal instead of attempting to redirect the blame on myself, I could have considered returning in the future. The owner let his ego get in the way of any possible future business relationship.

My husband and I had a great car buying experience with crest auto group and we recommend them! We recently bought a 2011 range rover from them that was in beautiful condition and priced fairly. Once we bought the car and got home we discovered an oil leak. We contacted Crest Auto right away and they weren’t aware of a leak so they referred us to have the car checked out at Bob Hindson Racing where the oil was last changed. They paid to have the car checked out which was a relief! They took care of the problem in a timely manner and their customer service was wonderful. Crest Auto paid to have the leak repaired. This gave us complete confidence in our car buying experience with Crest Auto. We worked with Chris who was great and communicated well to help us get the car fixed. He even gave our son a coloring book and Carfax stuffed animal while we were signing the papers for the car to help keep him busy. The car buying was quick and simple. Pete, the owner, was also very helpful with our experience regarding billing. What could have been a major headache of a situation ended up being a breeze with this group. We highly recommend them! I love my Range Rover and couldn’t be happier driving it!

This small dealership has the most impressive fleet of low mileage, high end, performance vehicles that I have seen. Pete is a true professional, he may not wear a suit but he handles his business in a unique way that just works. His top priority is customer satisfaction. He really follows through to make sure that everything about your car is absolutely immaculate. I bought a 2000 Chevy Corvette Z71 from him with 43k miles from him. The only thing that made this car shy of perfect was the cloth headliner on the painted targa top had come loose from the top. The car had two tops come with it, one glass and one painted. So this was not a major issue. He took the cost of the repair off the price of the car, got it repaired in a matter of days and offered multiple times to meet me halfway so I could get my top. He really went the extra mile with me and I could not be more happy with my purchase. He did an excellent job.

I bought a car from Pete a few years ago. The car turned out great. The experience with Pete was great. Pete has also helped me with detailed information regarding other purchases I have made when he didn't have exactly what I was looking for. I had such a good experience I tried to return to take a look at a second vehicle about two years ago. Pete was happy to hear from me again, but unfortunately had just sold the car I wanted. I missed that car by a day. Now those cars are just increasing in value. He told me the market on that vehicle would be heading up and it has. His pricing is in line with the market and he carries some unique cars. Have the car checked out if you need to. The one I purchased was everything it was said to be. I would recommend going to see him.

I bought my Audi S4 from Pete in August 2018. Working Mon-Fri and an hour and a half away, I scheduled an appointment to look over/test drive a BMW on a Saturday and ended up spotting the S4 on the lot. Pete allowed me to test drive both that day. With no pressure or pushing to buy I was able to leave and compare prices. I learned the car was priced right and called pete back in the middle of the week and struck a deal. I returned the following Saturday, finished up the paperwork and left an hour later with my S4. No surprises, no hassle, no pressure and honest answers. I would recommend Crest Auto Group to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

I give 4 stars because the car they sold me had the CEL turn on within 50 miles of driving it away, its of no fault of their own ( sorta, it has a catalytic converter code because of catless downpipe ) but they did delete the code and didnt mention anything about it, so that was disappointing, just felf as thats kinda a janky way to do buissness. But other than that they treated me well and they have a great assortment of cars in the back too.. tbh i dont know if I'd recommend a friend here just because of the whole trying to hide the CEL thing.. but i will say if you're looking for a really nice car, call them.

My wife owns a 2006 Audi Avant 6-speed manual that she loves. It had 200,000 miles and was beginning to need a lot more work. I started searching for a similar car with less miles. Found a 2008 Audi S-Line Avant with "only" 100,000 at Crest Auto for a fair price. Negotiated a little, flew from NY to Kansas (they met me at the airport), car was great, process smooth, and they even followed up sending me a small missing part they promised me and the second key. It all went smoothly and was a pleasure. Drive home was good, my son has the 2006 and my wife has a newer version of a car she loves...

I don't know when / how they sell cars, but they obviously won't lift a finger to do it. Scheduled a test drive a week out... they have very inconvenient hours, but luckily I had a day off work so figured I'd check out a car... They won't let you drive a car in the rain, they were busy when it was dry... How are you unavailable until 2:30 when your hours are 9-5? "Sorry, we can't control when it rains" No, but you can control your availability and your desire to show a car to a buyer. Total waste of time trying to work with these guys over the last week.

Being an out-of-state purchaser, Crest Auto Group made it one of the smoothest transactions I've ever had. Their online listings are very detailed with lots of photos. Pete was super easy to work with and was very accommodating--even offering to drop the car off for inspection and pick it up. Then, he brought the car to meet me at the airport. Plus, he kept me updated via email every step of the way. This car buying experience was very professional, easy going and fun. Best experience I've ever had buying a used car, and I've bought a lot of them. I live a few hours away from them so I wasn't able to go see the car in-person. Dan was very honest about the condition of the car and responded to my questions within a very short period of time. Sounds simple, but with all the craziness right now, those things are getting lost. Upon arriving, the condition of the car was better than I expected. Called multiple times and dont get an answer. So i figured i would just go up there and take a look at the car i wanted. I told the guy the car i wanted and he says we are by appointment only. I told him i called several times and that they are hard to get ahold of of and he says they are by appointment only. No explanation or anything. Terrible customer service. Maybe next time you will try and have a better approach when a ready willing and able buyer walks through your door.

I found the specific car I was looking for in the Crest inventory. I called and set an appointment for the following day. I worked with Chris and had a positive experience at all levels.
