Me and my friend have been there to have quick snack.Female staff were really friendly.But everything became upside down with Male worker (He looks over middle age with dark skin). I think he is the owner of shop.If his own the shop then what a big SHAME. We have placed our orders and were waiting for it. Male worker directly talked to me like giving an order to staff..."Do not touch your hair". At the first moment I though he is kidding and trying to make some funny jokes.But what a SHAME! Just because we were sitting front of the big mirror and off course thats normal to look after urself, even for a second u touch your face or hair as a CUSTOMER! Then I realised that he started to talk like a boss and explain why I shouldn't touch my hear inside the shop with unpleasant face. This male worker (or owner) thinks that this is normal way to talk to customer! I was trying to figure out what just happen! I was shocked! I really want to leave immediately but stayed there because of my friend and for also prepared orders by female workers. The moment male worker was talking like bossy way to tell me that how and why shop need to be hygienic but after little while GUESS WHAT HAPPEN! While we have eating we saw a lot of flies on the corner which is where we sat.It was disgusting to see flies around the food. Before we leaved I said "Sir we didn't enjoy because of the flies! he replied by laughing at me and said to me he is gonna take care of it" with really unserious way. I been working in catering business for 8 years and there is no such a example like that even in my entire life. Male worker needs EDUCATE! and I have to say this shop better with only females. I will never ever will go there AGAIN!

AVOID!!! COFFEE LOVERS 4 of us went here, coffee was warm at best and poor, and uht milk... cakes were good.. asked for some hot water to heat coffee up,got a grunt off lady owner no smile, we moved 2 stools outside as only 2 seats were available. It was only 2 yards out to sit opposite our wife’s. Nothing was said until I went across the way to get a takeaway coffee towards the end of our stay as there’s was terrible and expensive. That obviously annoyed the man owner he came out and was ranting about the 2 stools we had moved,that he didn’t have license for them!!! He Should of mentioned it straight away before he took our money,no problem with us. Anyway he started on us about this fact,and then my takeaway coffee!!! Very rude we left had spent 25 euros on 4 coffees & 2 cakes... he was rude, arrogant, grumpy, x2 staff/owners they should not be in this job never seen anything like it, until I saw the other reviews which confirmed our poor experience at this dive.... Abzocke und Touristenfalle - lieber woanders eine Waffel probieren!! Der Laden hat auf Google so toll ausgesehen also sind wir hingegangen. Auch in der Vitrine lagen wirklich lauter Waffeln und andere Süßwaren, die wirklich köstlich ausgesehen haben. Preislich haben wir bei der Größe mit Rund 5-7€ gerechnet. Denn die Preistafeln zeigen nur Toppingpreise an und der Verkäufer hat uns auch nicht auf den Preis hingewiesen. Als sie 10€ für die Waffel verlangt haben, waren wir schon etwas geschockt. Aber für gutes Essen wäre es uns wert gewesen. Leider war die Waffel aber weder knusprig noch weich. Nur die Erdbeeren darauf waren gut. Für 10€ ist es das echt nicht wert. Auch 4 Stangen Churros für 6,5€ ist absolut überteuert - ohne Toppings! Leider waren wir echt enttäuscht.

Wir haben uns schon gewundert, dass wir keine Preisschilder entdeckt haben. Vielleicht waren wir zu naiv, denn wir haben trotzdem drei Waffeln überzogen mit Schokolade gekauft. Als der Verkäufer - der außerdem alles andere als freundlich war - dann 25,50€ für die drei Waffeln haben wollte, waren wir schon ein wenig ungläubig, aber was macht man nicht alles im Urlaub… Haben für den Preis natürlich eine Geschmacksexplosion erwartet, aber die Realität war eher wie ein Stück Beton aus 99% Zucker und ein bisschen Schokolade. Dann lieber für 2€ aus dem nächsten Supermarkt, kann nur besser schmecken.

SERVICE: The service and interpersonal skills are utterly missing and the idea of customer service doesn’t exist. Instead they have an attitude of doing a favor by offering us their products. As a reminder, a restraunt runs on the mercy of its customer and not at the attitude of the owner. FOOD: The food very delicious and fresh and of good quality and you get what you pay for. Won’t be disappointed.

I wasn't feeling very well during the evening and needed a place to sit down in fresh air. Although the staff asked that I purchase something to use their chair/table, they let me sit there for close to an hour until I felt better, with a simple purchase of a bottle of water. The staff checked on me and asked if I was ok, but left me alone and weren't rude or pushy to get me out of there. Thanks guys! I did feel better and managed to get to my hotel to get some much needed rest before my flight the next day.

DO NOT GO HERE. They are another one of the million of awful shops in Amsterdam that charge tourists extra. Of course, they don't provide a menu with prices on them. I thought the medium sized churros were reasonably priced until I realized this 'medium' size is what authentic restaurants in Amsterdam put as their 'small' churros. Disgusting place full of rude service people charging you extra, like 99% of the city. Amsterdam is a beautiful location with disgusting, ugly people.

12,50€ : that’s what you’ll have to pay for a chocolate waffle with extra cream and a small bottle of water. This is simply unacceptable, and add to that the fact that the price was only disclosed to me AFTER the waffle was already prepared and served. In hindsight, I should have refused to pay. No menu, no clear prices, no smile from the staff which was far from polite ... just spend your money elsewhere.

Walked into this place to get some dessert. Big mistake! The churros were heated in the microwave and tasted stale. The waffle was not good either as it was very dry and the cream was a bit off. Paid €16 to leave my tastebuds with an awful taste. We had to leave the waffle half eaten. It's the worst place to get any dessert! Avoid this tourist trap as there are many better places around the area.

Worst waffles ever. Heated them in the microwave to freshen them up but then stuck to the paper plate. Ingredients were not that fresh and the Nutella icecream tasted cheap and nasty. Biggest Scam Ever run. Paid 11 euros for Waffles with no pricing displayed. When questioned, the staff threatened and said "Why come to Amsterdam centrum if you cannot afford" We should have just refused to pay. They take advantage of tourists. Funny thing is that I'm living in Amsterdam since 7 years and they think I'm a tourist. Who do you think you are to ask why I'm in Amsterdam Centrum?

Server making the crepes is rude. Asked for a crepe with not too much Nutella and whipped cream. He doesn't acknowledge the request. After repeating a couple of times, he looks up and says "I heard you three times already", proceeds to make the crepe and then forgets the whipped cream he heard three times. Crepe was undercooked and doughy. Average and long waits for a disappointing outcome.

Pésimo lugar. Sin calefacción, sin servicios y sin wifi. Además del mal trato al cliente, que no ha sido ni siquiera amable. Carísimo, incluso para estar en Ámsterdam, 5'00€ un café pequeño y en absoluto increíble, más bien mediocre. Solo acudan aquí si quieren sentirse estafados

Un lugar para nada recomendable cero atención y la comida muy mala, pedimos un brownie por 6 € y estaba seco, ni se podía disfrutar del sabor a chocolate y eso es difícil. Además nos cambiaron de lugar donde estábamos sentados porque llegaron unos conocidos, siendo que ellos llegaron después, una falta total de respeto hacia sus clientes...solo si quieren sentirse robados vayan ahí.

No doubt the croissants here are good but there are other options available nearby vicinity. The service here is poor. The owner/crepe maker is very arrogant with customers. The owner might have forgotten that he is in business because of us "the customers". Some people forget about humility and humbleness once they achieve success. And the owner of this shop is one of them.

S C A M M E R S. Any pancake you will chose to get will cost you at least 8 E U R O S. Underlined on the menù you will see the prices of the toppings which are 2.5 each. The price of the pancake is written in a very small print and it’s 6 E U R O S. The guys do everything to make you order very expensive. Very dishonest the way they present the menu!

Had a cheesecake slide w caramel. It was 7.50 euros. It was pretty good and the place was open late at night! Packed place at midnight. The guys were nice to us but I did see them yelling at someone for taking a picture of the pastries! I just snapped a pic when they weren't looking. Not sure why they'd have a problem w pictures.

Viel zu teuer - Crepe mit Nutella und eine Kugel Eis haben 9€ gekostet. Es stehen nirgends Preise dran und Kuchen etc. Liegen dort sicher seit Stunden und sind zudem nicht selbst gemacht. Kann ich nicht empfehlen. 2 Sterne, weil der Crepe sehr sehr lecker war, trotzdem kein Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Gostei bastante desde espaço. Pequeno e acolhedor e com boas cores e boa luz. Provavelmente não é tão conhecido porque o sitio é um pouco escondido. O bolo que comi era bastante saboroso e o staff simpatico também. As vitrines são muito sugestivas e é fácil ficar com vontade de entrar.

Horrible waffles, the guy literally just warmed up the waffles, squirted some nutella on top and the most shocking bit was that he just threw the strawberries on top. It was almost like having a plain gross waffle with some Nutella on strawberries on the side

È vero che il prezzo è un po' alto, e che quello al cioccolato non è piaciuto molto alla persona più amante che conosca. Però consiglio se si vuole prendere da qua quello bianco all'oreo, perché a parere mio è davvero buono, di quello ne prenderei un'altro.

The food was quite bad, suspecting everything coming from the freezer and the oven in the shop seemed to be dirty. No visible price mostly because of inapropriate too expensive prices. On top of that, the staff members were obnoxious.
