We have attended Cross Timbers as a family for the past five years and loved it. It is a small church and many of the members have known each other for decades, but there are no cliques and they welcome everyone the same. We did not know anyone when we visited and everyone was still so kind and loving toward us. The children’s program is wonderful. Many of the members have Bible college degrees and they truly love the children and make lessons but but also make sure the kids are learning. Our children have learned so much since we started attending there. Most importantly, the pastor works really hard on his sermons. Everything comes straight from the Bible. He does lots of research and and everything he has taught has made sense. He is also accessible; if you have a question about a sermon (or really anything Biblical), you can email him and he will personally respond. This has been helpful for me a few times. Overall, I think this church is definitely worth trying out if you’re considering it. It was exactly the place we dreamed of and I feel so thankful that we found it.
