I found Pastor Sam’s verse by verse and cross referencing preach helpful and stayed for a second. Unfortunately the rest of preachers in the church don’t seem to understand what they are preaching about. Last Sunday the preacher kept emphasizing follow His will rather than look for ‘signs’ to the public. I think it’s a really different scenario as people come to church of course for guidance. There is no solid suggestions on individual struggles. That preacher also kept saying about ‘obey’ for several times in sermon and did not explain what/why to obey. I admired answering questions through mobile text, but answering capacity is limited when asking Biblical questions. Biblical knowledge and heart of the church may need to be improved. When I connect to the group, they still have COVID-19 restrictions today. That really shows little faith with the Lord and outdated. Lastly, money-changers also observed in this church, for food and courses. I think it’s clear that Jesus was furious, and cleansed the church for two times according to the Bible.

This wonderful church is founded on more than 146 years of history.The church has a diverse group of disciples of Christ, which represent a foretaste of what heavenly kingdom is like. This is a large church with resources to train up disciples and implement many great initiatives to bring the gospel to the city and the world, for example it has a large programs for cell group, discipleship, international students community and the world mission. I have personally learned a lot from Cross Culture Church of Christ. I am indebted to its people for my growth and vision in life.

I came to Melbourne to study in 2011 and stayed for two years. During this time, the International Student Ministry in CrossCulture was a huge part of my life. I loved every moment of it. ISM and CrossCulture provided me a safe place where I could rediscover God, and I found myself surrounded by loving people who genuinely cared for me. I'm back in Singapore, but I do miss Melbourne terribly and a lot of it (I daresay most of it) has to do with how amazing ISM and CrossCulture was and is. It is truly a great place and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

very warm welcoming church, visited with my toddler in the 11.15am session. They have wonderful parents room which is very helpful for parents who come with young toddler. We can follow the church session fully while our babies have their own activities in this room. There's a Sunday school at 9.00am session. Coming with public transport is highly recommended as difficult to find parking in the city. Alternatively you can park at QV building which has $12 weekend flat rate if you are shopping in the area too ( ask for that ticket from merchants you buy from)

Wonderful and kind community that loves God! The bible teaching comes straight from the bible and they are always open to questions. My faith has grown here and many loving people have reached out to me and made me feel welcome. This is a great place to go if you are unsure about God or Christianity! Also to bring your friends! Of course this is also a wondeful place to join a life group or biblestudy for people looking to expand more on an already developed faith. Plus the location is very convenient right next to Melbourne Central

Good messages preached by the 4 pastors here in the English service. They line up the messages closely to the Bible. It would be good if the music ministry mixed the traditional hymns with new hyms in the English service every Sunday, as many new hymns are so boring, mono toned and/or empty worded, hence they don't seem to touch people hearts as well as the traddional hymns do. People feel God & get to know him quicker and better by learning correct bible teachings + singing good music and meaningful hymns.

A church that focuses on passage based teachings keeping Christ at the focal point. Catering to 3 different service times and an extra Chinese community service. A large base of international students, and caters for infants to young teens through the morning service. Has a active youth group that usually meets weekly.

I have found CrossCulture (formerly Swanston St Church of Christ) to be a wonderful place where the Bible is upheld and taught through expository preaching and where we are constantly encouraged to serve each other and share the good news of Jesus giving himself as a sacrifice to die in our place.

Christ centered, family and missions orientated as well as great student support. Runs an English speaking group during the week to help orientate newcomers as well as kids and youth programs during the Sunday 9 am services.
