Summary: Overall, recommend Crosstown for Dr. Chan and Dr Abbas for Crosstown rehab. Walkin clinic and parking are areas that Crosstown can improve. Cannot comment on the on-call doctors. Full review below: Having been a patient here for one year, I can say I have had a pretty good experience here so far. Dr. Chan is a great doctor. She is patient, understanding, empathetic, friendly and most of all, she is focused on trying to provide care that is patient oriented. I have never felt rushed or my concerns ever ignored by her. Dr. Chan continues to strive to become a better physician. If she is unsure about something, she does go out of her way to educate herself and find the answers. This is really appreciated. If you need a referral, Dr. Chan doesn't hesitate to send one. Referrals are sent out in a timely manner here. I can't thank her enough for her continuous support and care for my health concerns. With Dr. Chan, it really feels like you are working as a team to resolve the issue at a hand. Her secretary- Sumon, is also great. When I leave a message, I always get a call back. If she misses a call, she calls you back. She is friendly. She aims to understand what the patient's concerns are and tries to book them accordingly. The doctor's secretary is your window to getting a hold of your doctor. No matter how great the doctor is, if the secretary is not helpful, it really adds undue stress and frustration. Thankfully, this isn't the situation. Crosstown rehab clinic is also great. Dr. Abbas is the man to go to for all your rehab needs. He is educated, evidence focused and friendly. He really aims to help improve the quality of life of his patients. Can't recommend him enough. Areas of improvement: The walkin clinic. Unfortunately, I was sick on a weekend and decided to use the walkin clinic offered by crosstown. I figured it be better to go here because I was a patient of Dr. Chan. Unfortunately, my experience reflects the experience of others. I really felt isolated, not heard, rushed and frustrated. I didn't even get to speak to the doctor who was in charge. I got prescribed a medication that I knew from past experiences would not work. This left me feeling disappointed with the whole walkin experience. I am hoping this is something Crosstown can improve on. Parking. It is tough to find parking here. I wish there was a dedicate spot instead of trying to find a street parking for 5-10 minutes. Unforunately, there's really no accessible public transit to take in this area. This makes getting in and out of Crosstown tough.

The reception staff at this health centre needs some work. I called yesterday to book an appointment and was told to call back today to confirm it. After leaving one voicemail this morning and calling three times with no answer, I decided to call back with my phone number blocked - surprisingly, when I called back with the blocked number, my call was answered (as I have seen has happened to a few other users). Speaking to the reception this morning, no appointment was made and I apparently had to call on the day of to book the appointment. This should have been explained thoroughly upon talking to the receptionist yesterday. The receptionist this morning also seemed very annoyed with my call and basically booked my appointment and hastily rushed me off of the phone. I have worked as a medical secretary for 8 years and this type of patient service is unacceptable. You are dealing with sick individuals who are just trying to book an appointment to deal with their medical issues - customer/patient service needs a serious revamp/course refresher! And please stop screening phone calls. My grandma has also called on multiple occasions, left voicemails and has had no reply. Dr. Den Boer is the best though! :)

This family health team is amazing. I've never had a doctor I've liked as much as Dr. den Boer; I rave to my friends all the time about how great she is. She is always punctual for her appointments, is never rushed, takes the time to explain things and help me work out options/the best course of action, and never hesitates to investigate an issue further. I truly believe she has my best interests at heart; she is insightful, an excellent listener and talks things through with me so that I feel like I'm making informed decisions about my health (extra props for that; pretty sure I have a 'difficult patient' note in my file from doctors all over town, like Elaine on Seinfeld). In all seriousness, she really helped me through a health crisis last summer, I'm so glad I found a doctor I can trust. Special shout out to the staff here too! Everyone is super friendly and super helpful, even though I'm sure they're super busy; they were nice and patient with me even the time I called because I couldn't remember what time my appointment was. Thanks for your hard work!! 10/10 recommend

Wow. First time, I’ve ever been turned away to try to see a doctor. My parents told me to come to this doctor since their good. The receptionist turned me away just now. I called last week and asked if I can walk in on Tuesday. The receptionist who answered said yes I can just walk in anytime on Tuesday. I come today and they said they won’t take me and to see my family doctor. I asked when’s walk in hours and she’s like it’s for their patients only. I’m so confused. The way the receptionist handled the situation wasn’t really helpful. I felt uncomfortable. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here again. I only came here because the other walk in clinics kept giving me prescription I was allergic to. I’m just leaving this review because I woke up super early from Guelph just to come here to see a Doctor due to my parents recommendation. The receptionist who answered last week should of just told me not to come as it’s for their patients only. What a waste of time.

Terrible just terrible. I've been a patient here for the past few years and the doctors are constantly changing. I've never left an appointment feeling that the medical issue was resolved. Always feel rushed and that the doctors just want to get you out and that they have better things to do with their time. They don't believe in regular check ups but rather just tell you to come see them when you feel something is wrong. Wow! No preventative practice just reactive. Never once suggested yearly check ups. On my last visit the doctor provided a requisition for blood work, I get to the clinic and the nurse tells me the doctor put the wrong name on the requisition... I brought the requisition back to reception staff and told them what happened they didn't seem to care and I left. I never received a call for apology or to reschedule appointment so they don't care. It's been about a year now. Won't be going back and I suggest looking for a different family doctor.

Warning - this place is a disaster. Whenever you call no one answers. Voicemails are not returned. It's so awful my aunts had to walk into the office to ask for the doctor to call and still no sucess. The receptionists are rude and incompetent. When you show up for appointments there are often no one at the front desk so you just sit lost. Trying to get prescriptions renewed are a task and the prescriptions are always screwed up. If anyone knows of a good family doctor please leave a commet with details. Don't waste you time going to this awful place with deplorable customer service and incompetent staff. They deserve Zero stars unfortunately the lowest is one star. My biggest regret was taking my aunts to this awful place to get a family doctor. Now looking for a new family doctor.

This is my first Google review ever as I don't complain much and I don't have time for this but this time I can't contain my emotions. The secretary on the phone for Dr. Ghandi is so unprofessional. She has no respect for my time and options. First time, I told her calmly my schedule is very tough as I am a health worker doing rotation shifts. The second time was when I could not contain myself. She has an obvious condescending voice and irritated when I explore the the available schedule. She always say "Hurry! I have another on the phone". My Doctor is only doing some days of the week! How does she expect that I will be available on a single work day she is providing. Are you even providing training for this staff? This clinic has been stressful since she took over the phone.

Spoke with phone reception following from voicemail left for me. The voicemail was spoken so quickly i could barely maks out what was said. I had to replay 3 times. When I nicely offered feedback about this to receptionist, perhaps she could speak more clearer, she was rude and condescending. She said didnt you SEE the number that called on your phone? I said no. She didn't believe me and asked again. I gave up and said perhaps she could be mindful of seniors. She should not assume things about callers. She could have more patience. These are people, human beings with health issues. They may not be to her standards but they are patients of a doctor. Their needs should be respected. One might consider I cant see well. I will be looking for a new doctor.

I've been a patient of this clinic for 10 years, my main doctor was Dr. Jeffries, I've also found good care under Dr. Sun and Dr. Den Boer. They've all provided careful, thorough and detailed care with any issues I've had over the years. Dr. Tang, however, leaves a bitter experience when she is rushing through the appointment, barely examines the issues brought up, dismissing all concerns in a curt manner. Bedside manner is important when it comes to patient care and its unfortunate she heavily lacks in this area. I trust my doctors to make the best call after an assessment with their experience and knowledge, but when there is barely an effort made it leaves much to be desired with the expectations the other doctors set with their phenomenal care.

The West Park Family Health team is extremely professional, efficient and thorough. I have been with this office for about 3 years now, and the Dr. (Dr. Lauren Den Boer) takes her time to answer questions, is very knowledgeable, offers amazing follow up, etc. I had a baby this year, and care has been wonderful. I also very much appreciate the reception staff. They are kind, prompt, and professional. I can almost always get same day or next day appointments. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes to see the doctor for the scheduled appointment. They also offer clinics evenings and weekends. Honestly, I think this place should teach other doctor's offices how to run! If you are looking for a great family doctor's office, I would highly recommend.

I have tried to make an appointment for the past three days. What I get when the line is open is a voice and then immediately, music, which cuts off any interaction or communication to a receptionist to make an appointment. Your reception team has to step up or be replaced, as a hapless patient has no access to your clinic via the phone line. How am I to follow up with the recommendation of my doctor, Dr. Tang, if I cannot get through to the clinic?.I have asked that I be contacted on my landline since I miss any call to my cell phone (cell is unreliable & it is not always near by). Messages to me can be left on the landline as it is often difficult to reach reception after they have called to my cell phone and I missed their call.

My 9 year old special needs sister got turned away from an appointment because my mom is not vaccinated! This is extremely unlawful and this clinic should be fined and every doctor in this clinic should be fined for denying medical treatment on the basis of my moms medical decisions and freedoms. The appointment was not for my mom it was for my sister! Also the receptionist said that she can’t create an appointment Monday to Friday because my mom is unvaccinated but yet she can come in on the weekend when the clinic is accepting walk-ins only which to me and to my entire family, makes no sense what’s so ever! This is a joke and this clinic needs to be publicly chastised for there stupid policy!

Crosstown health Team is very excellent. The receptionists is nice, warm and I feel like home when visiting here. They are very fast, organize for your appointment. Save ton of waiting time . Keep up your best service Crosstown Health team. My doctor was moving and I have new family doctor, so I can’t say yet because of Covid I still not meet her. But I have meet some other doctor and I think they are young physicians team, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and care person. I love this crosstown clinic and wish all the staffs, doctors the best of their life Keep your best service

Two visit both happens to be with Dr. Sun. Very not happy, both time the first with my child and second with me, he seems he is rushing to be with "actual patient"‼️ As we are not his prefer patient. He came very late and he is in a very rush to get away from me, close communication and miss informed on what was happening.not being a dr at all. We go there to see a Dr. not to see a baised, not welcoming and not interested person to come and make us feel worst than our initial visit concerns . As a dr he should remember all lifes matter and all are equal and important to each humans.

I went there for a checkup and ended up taking a blood test there as well. The blood test came with an extra fee of 40$ for an item that wasn't covered by OHIP but I could only pay in cash as I was told that they don't take cards for this (even though they do at the reception upstairs). I thought it was a bit shady but did it anyway, and, well... let's just say that the nurse didn't do a very good job with the needle. I'm used to giving my blood and doing blood tests regularly and never turned that blue/purple after an injection (and that's 3 days later). Very unprofessional.

Overall I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of care that I've received over the past couple of years since I moved to Toronto in 2015. I am truly thankful to Doctor Christopher Sun for helping me with my health over the years. As well as Doctor Bhavesh Dhoka, for assisting me with physiotherapy over the past two months that has taken away my lower back pain from a previous workplace injury. Both doctors have been amazing with my care and will continue to help me towards a long, healthy and happy life. I totally recommend this facility if you live in the area!!

I went for my two month baby appointment with Dr. Tang and she never once checked my babies head shape, she was in a rush and now that my baby is 4 months we have to go see a helmet specialist. Not saying it’s her fault but we would have liked a heads up: like hey make sure you do loads of tummy time, in your next appointment we will check to see if she gets a flat head and if she does, she will be recommended to a helmet specialist. Why don’t doctors let you know this ahead of time ? I never came back after that.

Please say my thank you to Dr. Shaili Perez. I was comfortable during my appointment with her. She answered all my questions and concerns. Dr. Perez even called me not once but multiple times about my test results explained it at my level of understanding, and provided advice for what would be the next steps. She sent two referrals and assured me that I was going to be in good hands. I did a consult where she referred me and I’m convinced that I am being taken care of. My doctor is fantastic, the reception staff...not so much (with the exception of Diane, she great). The male receptionist is aggressive and unhelpful. I dread receiving calls from him as I am usually left feeling stressed and frustrated, his lack of wanting to be helpful is abundantly clear. The staff require regular follows when waiting for specialist appointments, other wise you are forgotten about. And if they do get you a specialist appointment, half of the time they forget to tell you about it.

Our experience was the worst ever in this place, two of my kids and I were met with this Dr that : 1- Never introduces himself . 2- Take us to the back of the building as we are lepers, did not explained why he has to take us to this shed. 3- Diagnosed us with covid the minute we told him our symptoms despite my explanation that I have been swabbed 3 times ( PCR) for covid and it"s been negative 4- Did not even ask if we need some medication to treat our symptoms.

We have been patients with Dr. Den Boer since they were at West Park Health Centre. I always received great care from her. She is patient, kind, and overall amazing. Even when our doctor was not available, we would usually see Dr. Sun. He's been great even at our last visit for my son. Nurses and other staff are also kind and attentive. Reception is great and have always gotten back and are kind and accommodating. We are lucky to have them.

I have been a patient of this clinic since it opened brand-new. The medical service has been very good despite never being seen by the same doctor. And lately I notice the cleanliness of the clinic as well as the space has not been well taken care of. I’m really sorry about my comment but sincerely bother me to observe the dust and garbage accumulated in the attendance rooms. Shouldn’t this be a clean space for hygienic reasons?

It’s way too difficult to get hold of the clinic. They rarely answer the phone, you can’t leave a voicemail during their lunch break or outside of business hours. Google has the clinic hours listed for today (Thursday as 8am-8pm) I’ve tried calling 3 times today at 3pm and kept getting an auto message the clinic is closed and to call back. It shouldn’t be this difficult to reach your family doctor’s reception office by phone.

Dr. Sun is amazing! He always replies super fast and detailed to any questions I have and always puts his patients first. I wish there were more doctors like him. The entire team is very efficient and well run, as someone who is immune suppressed, I really appreciate the effort and professional setup they have to ensure safety for their patients and staff. Can the staff or the doctors here explain why no one ever picks up the phone at any given time of the working hours mentioned. We’ve literally called 6-8 times a day (different days). The only way it keeps ringing or goes straight to VM is either no one cares enough to answer the phone or they are seriously short staffed. What is it?? The authorities/mgmt needs to look into this and talk to their staff

I have been going there almost more than 4 years, Dr. Den Boer is wonderful, she is patient ,extremely knowledgeable and explains every details clearly. Never hesitates to send referral and extra tests if required. RN ,Social worker both are also wonderful, made me very comfortable in each visit.I also had great experience with reception also, they are very prompt and friendly.

Love my doctor here so much! We are truly so happy to have found her. But it's nearly impossible to book an appointment with any sort of advanced notice with the veribook system. I have checkd the website every day for 3 weeks and there has been no availability for my baby's vaccinations. Would definitely give 5+ stars if I could just book a normal appointment.

The receptionist hasnt picked up the phone for days (Dr. Jetha's receptionist) and the online system to book an appointment has been down. The receptionist for other doctors picks up almost right away and calls back if she doesn't. Figure it out guys or let your patients know what's going on with your receptionists/booking system.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever received for two years. If you want to call the reception good luck, you have a better chance seeing a unicorn. And the male Asian receptionist, my god. Dude, if you don’t want to work stop taking tax payer money so you can sit there with your resting birch face and do the bare minimum.

The receptionist for Dr. Gandhi/Dr. Jetha is completely useless. I've been trying to call for 3 days and have not gotten through even once. I think she has her phone turned off or something. I have heart issues I'm worried about and getting a hold of anyone in this office seems impossible.

The reception staff are not properly trained regarding the AODA Accessibility for Ontarins with Disabilities Act law. AODA has been around for 19 years please get with the picture because your office staff and business can be fined $50,000 per day of non-compliance of AODA.

Dr Chan is always very caring and helpful. I am glad she is my doctor. My whole family goes to her now because of how I feel about her. If she doesn't know the answer to something she will always make sure to do her best to find out.

The worst place ever! In the last 3-4 years they dont do nothing. I had injury, menthal situation, etc. No appointment or waithing for weeks, phone appointment, begging them for help. Charge for records. Nonsense!

My family doctor, Dr. Gandhi and Chiropractor, Dr Abbas are both here, I’ve never had any issues with them and the exercises prescribed have been helpful in dealing with my medical needs.
