Atrocious service. Moving from Brisbane to Yeppoon was a nightmare. Broken furniture, damaged art, which we paid extra to crate ( !!! )...they even managed to ding the wall with a cupboard, resulting in a hole. We complained in writing and was told they would investigate and get back to us. two weeks later, nothing. Called, was told Ops manager called Michelle Clark would call me the next day, before lunch. 3 days later, still waiting. So much for your word Michelle....USELESS. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Given the price we were charged, you should all hold your head in shame. Using lesser blocks from my front wall as braking blocks? 1 of the 3 "removalists" assigned to us was doing Work Experience from school!! 1 star simply because ZERO stars is not available as a choice....will never use again. Beware the silky words...untruths seem the norm. EDIT: Its now mid March and STILL we wait for Crown to repair our internal wall THEY damaged in November. My wife travelled 800 km's from Yeppoon to Brisbane to meet with Geff the "new" Ops Manager in Brisbane at the house so he could see for himself what needed to be done...he never showed up, no phone call. Nothing. We discover today he was fired yesterday! OMG what a comedy of errors. If not so heartbreakingly sad, it would be hilarious... We had laurel and Hardy removalists, and now Mickey Mouse is running Crown.... We have never been soooo appalled by any company. Ever. We have been assured all will be fixed asap. Lets see. Talk is cheap, it seems, when it comes to Crown. Not Happy.

I moved from Canberra to Brisbane with Crown Relocations with a three bedroom house and a spa needed to manage my spinal disability. It takes a truly special degree of incompetence to break as many items as Crown Relocations broke. I do not know how an organisation so lacking in competence stays in business. They broke my antique cabinet, smashing the central door with its ornate shaped mirror. They broke numerous other smaller items of value to me. They also smashed my spa beyond repair. This has had terrible consequences for me financially and physically. It will take some time for me to recover physically from the damage to my body that Crown Relocations inflicted. Thanks to their dodgy insurance arrangements I am $11,000 out of pocket and have had to take out a two year loan I can ill afford to pay for a replacement spa. Crown Relocations did not merely damage my spa. They destroyed my health and functionality for three months leaving me in unbearable physical pain. Their response when trying to resolve the dispute was appalling. Essentially they couldn't care less what damage they have inflicted and claim that all due care was taken with my items. What a furphy! Items do not end up smashed beyond repair when all due care is taken with them. If this is an example of all care being taken by Crown Relocations it is a sad indictment on its competency. People need to be warned to never use the dodgy services of Crown Relocations lest they incur serious damage.

We used Crown Relocations for an International move from New Zealand to Australia. The glossy sales pitch and insurance options had us trust that Crown could complete our relocation to satisfaction. Unfortunately our shipment was delayed, our personal effects were damaged on site and our car was damaged after waiting 14.5 weeks for it to arrive - yes 14.5 weeks! When things went wrong, staff took several weeks to respond, no one knew what was going on and our file was passed from person to person. When we submitted an insurance claim, it was declined and we were told we would need to deal with the NZ branch, still waiting after several weeks. Our experience with Crown has been more than disappointing and reading their response to reviews of an apology and that they are improving their service delivery doesn't cut it when our items have been damaged and we have paid them in excess of $20,000+ to relocate our personal effects. Based on our experience, we DO NOT recommend Crown Relocations.

I can't fault my service with crown on this side of the Tasman. Michelle Nicholson was really helpful and very efficient. She also was very informative to what was happening with my antique mirror coming over from NZD. She made everything so easy for me and took the time to help me with any questions I had, nothing seemed to be a problem for her. The delivery guys were great and very efficient as well. The guys who packed my mirror in NZD did a great job too, as there was no breakages, as it was well packed into a crate made for it to fit it in. This mirror is not small by all means. However, the lady I was dealing with in NZD, made things confusing and was hard to communicate with and not too informative, until I finally managed to get onto Michelle here, then, everything ran like clock work. A credit to all on this side. I can't thank you enough. Well done guys......

Edited to say that the below reply from crown is also just another scam to show future clients that they addressed the issue. BEWARE - they do not address the issue. No one ever contacted me, nor i have my stuff delivered to me. I am just now scared which shape it will come in, if ever - reading other reviews. Biggest mistake of my life so far - hands down its been crown. IF moving overseas, never use crown. It’s literally just blackmail - they take all your money and take all your stuff and then hold it as ransom and keep increasing the time they tell you. It started with 6 weeks and we signed up with them and then it was changed to 12 weeks by them. We are in a new country with no stuff thanks to crown who fell short of their false shallow promises.

Moving overseas, had a nice chat and reassurance given by the sales rep. who came to give the quote. Sadly that's only positive thing there was. Got the quote 3 working days later then promised and the quote given stated that whole package list (for 3 bedroom house) would fit into 9 cubic meters. No way thats enough space as previously already moved twice and it was 15+ cubic meters (not to say we have way more stuff this time), also partial moving list quote given stated we would need 7 cubic meters for 15% of stuff (only 6 or seven boxes without the bulky furniture. Be aware of them playing with the space in quotes and carefully read all fine print terms and conditions as you might end up paying twice as much from your quote.

Moved internationally from NZ to Australia. Shipment arrived in Brisbane missing a Stand Up Paddle Board. They refused to admit it was their fault but miraculously found the board in one of their ware houses. It eventually arrived in Brisbane damaged! Once again "not my fault" attitude from the company. Unpacked all our things only to find there was at least one additional box missing. Camping equipment gone. OK no big deal, we'll buy more but a fair number of our photos were in another box that just didn't arrive. Once again "not my fault" attitude from Crown. Barely any attempt at locating the boxes and now they have chosen to ignore me in the hope I'll go away. 15 years of memories gone! I wish I could give them zero stars.

I have just relocated from the UK to OZ and my container is arriving into Brisbane on 14 October. Crown uplifted my UK house in May but the container didn’t sail until 29 Aug - they tried to extort an additional charge for my container to sail ASAP and after blaming the shipping line for not taking my container I contacted Hapag Lloyd directly and was told that I had missed two sailings because Crown had not completed the paper work. They refunded £400.00 when I accused Crown of being economical with the truth. I was told by Crown that they would be handling the shipment door to door - I am now dealing with Grace on the Australian end. In short a company culture of lies, deceit and obfuscation - don't use them!

They don't deserve even a star, too bad there is no option for ZERO. My husband and I moved from Auckland to Brisbane. The total number of boxes arrived correctly. Unfortunately there were few items missing from the boxes and I reported to Crown Relocations but all the response I got from them was "WE TRIED, BUT CANNOT FIND THEM." Someone obviously opened our boxes and took our items. We used 100L plastic containers with lid to pack our items, but they didn't seal them, so anyone could easily open the containers. Also, the containers were delivered in broken condition. I still terribly regret we chose and trusted Crown Relocation. They are not a reliable company to entrust your belongings.

DO NOT TRUST THESE LIARS!!! I had some extremely precious items that I bought over 20 years ago that I wanted to be 100% sure would be safe in transit (knowing customs can be quote pedantic). Despite being sold a line that "everything will be fine", 7 months later my items got confiscated! I am furious, devastated and left to try to see if there is anything that I can do without ANY support from the company Biggest regret of my life was using these crooks- please don't make the same mistake that I did it has absolutely destroyed my experience of relocation!

Crown moved my personal effects ron NZ to Brisbane.They arrived last Friday. The service was first class with quality communication on progress of my things. The NZ packer did a great job. There are no breakages including the TV set- which works perfectly! Well my Akubra hat was squashed but Ill survive that! The two guys who unloaded at this end did a great job. Packages were re-labelled and placed where I could access them with minimum fuss. Their standard of care was high order.They were polite and seemed to enjoy the work! I would use Crown again.

As yet I have not received reimbursement as promised. Been two weeks now since Steve contacted. Emailed Steve & he says end of month hassles and they are busy. Happy to change my feedback when reimbursement as promised arrives & I am hoping that it does ................ still waiting .............. Update .......... still no reimbursement. Very, very disappointed, especially as I was called directly and PROMISED the reimbursement! Bad, bad, bad indeed. 0 stars for this company!

Dishonest company. Intentionally delayed the drive between the origin of move to the destination. The drive would only take 23 minutes but they delayed it to more than 50 minutes, claiming that this is due to an alternate route by their GPS. An alternate route would not take more than 2 times the duration, that is impossible. At the end of the move, they requested a bank transfer and did not issue an official invoice. Avoid this company at all costs. Very shady company.

A bit disappointed took a week longer i had to call few times to know where my things were. A lot of my furniture got damaged. The guys didnt use safety to place their ramp in some point was my box up in the air while the ramp went down on the floor. Thank God nobody got hurt and he wasnt carrying a heavy container. But most my furniture got dirty from their blankets and scratches. I wouldn't use them again.$$$$ to much to get my things damaged.

Appalling service. Shipping dates have been adjusted with no warning, despite payment upfront of a very hefty fee. Crown don't seem to realise the flow on effect this has and do not respond to emails appropriately. VERY dissatisfied.

Absolutely useless. 1.5 hours late when I was first person of the day, mover was on the phone at least half the time, complained almost the whole time about stairs, things being too heavy. You get what you pay for - AVOID
