Summary - very bad, rude, fraudulent guide We took a tour with Cuiaba Pantanal Tours, run by Jardes Gomes, in July 2019. We booked a private tour, paying a premium rate, and yet ours turned out to be a group tour which we were only told when we arrived. Jardes claimed this was a "misscommunication" - it was him lying. He also lied to the otehr group on our trip - telling them they were the only ones booked for their dates when they booked in May; we booked in February. Jardes is very uncommunicative once he has recieved the deposit. We emailed him several times to confirm the plan without a response. The accomodation that Jardes takes you to is extremely bad - our room was infested with mosquitoes, the electiricty cut out twice, there were exposed electrical wires in the shower, and other electrical appliances were held together by gaffa tape. When we arrived, this accomodation wasn't even organsied (despite being that is what our deposit was to secure), and we were told that we would be able to leave after just 1 night. When we asked to move the next day Jardes was extremely rude, and told us he had never said we would (another lie).

It was so amazing there. I enjoyed every minute of this trip. Me and my family spend a few days there and we learned so much. Jardes is a really good guide who knows a lot about the Pantanal and who is friendly too and likes his job. We saw so many animals and plants and learned so much. You won' t regret it if you' re there. And when you come from far away and visit Brasil, this trip is a must for you to go!

Top Organisation! Sehr guter Preis! Die Unterkünfte sind einfach, das Essen sehr gut. Die Brasilianer freundlich, offen, entspannt, auch Jardes kann sich noch ein bisschen mehr entspannen :-) Alles in allem hatten wir eine sehr gelungene Tour mit ihm.

Melhor tours que já fiz na vida ...
