"We came after lunch at Westfield Doncaster on a 20°C Saturday"
"Tranquil place with a small billabong with Mullum-Mullum creek meandering through"
"A small piece of full-on Aussie bush in the middle of suburbia"
"It is a nice isolated little bit of bushland but the angry and aggressive homeless person camping out there next to the BBQs and toilets abusing families and other people just trying to relax and enjoy nature, scaring them away make this a horrible choice"
"It was one of my worst memories, because the gate of the park was locked, we were not able to leave the park and we waited until late at night for the guard to open the gate, when one of them came and unfortunately said that the gate was locked and he could not Open the gate!! It was really awful ,we left our car there and went home buy taxi , the guard rouin our holiday and our Christmas "
We came after lunch at Westfield Doncaster on a 20°C Saturday. Took the 5km creek circuit. Half of the walk is rough terrain, up and down with some steep climb. Single file walk. Other half consists of gravel walkways, and the return walk alongside Reynold road is asphalt. Time to listen to the birds, hear the sound of running water from the creek and check out native plants. There are seats peppered along the circuit. Occasionally pass by other walkers and bikers. A group of kangaroos lazing under the shade on the return leg of the walk. Excellent bush walk experience so near my suburb. Truly a hidden gem. I'll come again with a drink bottle.
Tranquil place with a small billabong with Mullum-Mullum creek meandering through. Pretty rust metal sculptures are scattered around the trail depicting flora & fauna. Varieties of coloured parrot species flit around other than the noisy galahs & sulphur crested cockatoos. Roos & wallabies are here too - get in earlier like 8 to 9am in winter. Rug up & wear solid walking shoes. The early morning fog/Mist & reflections in the water is quite magical. You can get a good workout on some of the steep uphill/downhill trails if you take the fork on Ruby's Track & climb up to Powerline Track.
A small piece of full-on Aussie bush in the middle of suburbia. A very natural setting, this place is a hidden secret- you won’t come across many people here. Wildlife on the other hand you may well see such as kangaroos and kookaburras. There is a toilet and some picnic tables at the highest point in the park. There is parking for about forty cars on a gravel car park accessible by a steep gravel road coming up from Reynolds Rd. Come here if you want peace and quiet and a nice natural bush walk. Do not come here to kick the footy, as there is very little open space.
It is a nice isolated little bit of bushland but the angry and aggressive homeless person camping out there next to the BBQs and toilets abusing families and other people just trying to relax and enjoy nature, scaring them away make this a horrible choice.

Wow what an awesome place to visit. There are lots of trails to walk here and plenty of things to see. There are lots of information boards and signs showing the history and wildlife information about the area. There is an abundance of bird life to see, and kangaroos wandering about the park. This place makes for a fun day out. There are picnic tables, bbqs and toilets for your convenience.
This place is great for the kids. Plenty of places to explore. Calming and relaxing. It's like being in the middle of the bush, but it's only a 30 minute drive from the heart of the CBD. Definitely recommended for the little ones. They have toilets, showers and drinking water.
A really lovely piece of bushland next to the suburbs. Plenty of kangaroos throughout, an abundance of birdlife and frogs calling. Nice tracks, some sections at single file and not too steep. The drive in to the second car park is a little narrow.

Very clean
A bush walk just 40 min from the CBD yet you feel like your in the middle of no where. A great get away spot for a walk. Our family love to walk this area as the paths are wide and clear and not too long. As a bonus the toilets are clean and spots to stop and eat.
Went here with my wife for an exercise walk and to see what’s here. Walks are ok but the fire trail was in full sun and a bit boring for a bush walk. It’s a well preserved bush park but there is quite a bit of local traffic noise. Been to better.
Little known wildlife park however the presence of kangaroos and wallabies is much less than years ago. Great to walk around however if you wish to see any wildlife Best to go either early morning or at dusk. The park closes at 8pm.
Beautiful :) There is lots of natural bush to see and so many different types of birds. There are also a number of trials to walk. Many kangaroos live here too so if you want to see them this is a good place to come to.
Great place and there's so much wildlife around. The cacophony of bird calls against the rippling of the Mullum Mullum creek. Even walked past a mob of Roos with Joeys in the pouches at one time. Regular spot for a jog.
Great facilities (toilet, bbq, tables, parking). Some pretty walks. Caught a cool breeze while bbqing in the shade on a warm summers evening. And the serenade from the currawongs made for a perfect end of the day.
A bush park that has remnants of early European settlement, gradually returning to a more natural state. The toilets seem to have been improved since my last visit, and were clean and stocked with toilet paper.
It was a pleasure to visit Currawong Bush Park and it’s very beautiful all the way around. We saw a group of kangaroos and a wallaby as well as numerous birds in the area. Will definitely go again soon!
Much more rustic than other parts of mullum mullum, paths not as well marked. Good if you want a stronger bush experience, also lots of Roos if you keep your eyes peeled so great to take your visitors
Nice place for morning bush walk or family BBQ. Plenty of wildlifes can be observed at the place. Also, a great way to teach the young ones how to be respectful toward the nature and native animals.
Got BBQ , great place to picnic with family, can see kangaroo and nice traces to walk, only thing is about one kilometre road isn’t asphalts so you might need to wash your car after …
Nice place for families. Walks start in the bush then seem to go through suburbia. Clean toilets with soap! Fairly built up around the park which may be why we didn't see much wild life.
Beautiful bushland with easy access. Nice to spend a quiet walk which is not too challenging. Plenty of wildlife depending on the time of day. Relaxing, yes back to nature.
Great walk although the track can get quite muddy in places if your there when raining or just after. Appreciated the natural setting a lot. Quite a lot of birdlife about.
Hidden gem!!! Lots of place for bush walks in less crowded park. Creek flows through it which makes for a tranquil setting. There is toilet facilities near car park too
If you want a guaranteed up close encounter with eastern grey kangaroos, just go there in the late afternoon and you will see heaps of them. A lovely place for a walk.
Love it. Totally forget that you're in suburban Melbourne. Genuine Bush feel, just minutes from home. Great place for the kids for a day out without hours in the car
Really nice bush park with plenty of tracks to explore. Also has quite a few decent sized picnic tables with bbqs and public toilets. Has decent sized car parks.
Love this place. So many places to explore. Beautiful wildlife (massive massive Joey's!!). My daughter and I go here often to find challenging areas to hike.

Beautiful walk, it is the closest encounter of roos I can get among all the walks in Warrandyte, less crowded, natural bushland.

This is an amazing piece of bushland so close to the suburbs. Plenty of kangaroos, native birds and more. Very peaceful.
One of my favourite sites to work in, please report any dirt bike activity to the council, they are ruining the habitat.
Great natural place for kids to explore. Plenty of kangaroos to spot. Facilities include picnic tables, BBQ & toilets.
Kangaroo, kookaburras and all sorts of other birds. Beautiful walk. Great for kids. Amazing it exists in it's location
Dogs are not allowed, which is bloody ridiculous. Shouldn't be any issues when they are kept on the leash.
A great place for beginner bush walking. Lots of birds to watch and some wild kangaroos if you are lucky.
Beautiful parkland. A joy to be able to escape to nature. We are blessed to have this environment.
The home of our bush playgroup, lovely picnic areas, outdoor play spaces, kangaroos and cockatoos.
Super quiet and relaxing, a great place to go to be calm! Just make sure to look out for snakes!
What a beautiful park hidden away in Manningham council area... Definitely recommend this place.
