Stood at the front door for a couple minutes waiting to ask a question while the employee chatted on the phone, never acknowledging my existence. Then went wandering to find someone to point me towards masks I could wear while exercising, and they said they're on an "end-cap over there," pointing somewhere vague. Man, wny so lazy that you can't walk to spot to point them. Of course, turns out, after several minutes searching for the right end-cap, that they were gators, not masks. Then searched for another employee, finally found one in the shoe department (must be on commission to get the out of hiding), who eventually figured out they don't carry them. Left to go to Academy, which had a good selection and better employees, not that that's much of a stretch.

DO NOT PURCHASE FIREARMS HERE!! They refused to price match GrabAGun in Coppell (yes, a retail store) despite their very clear price match guarantee. They wanted $320 for a $200 pistol and because GrabAGun was already closed and they "couldn't speak to one of their reps to verify SKU" they refused the price match. Save yourself a headache and the complete lack of honoring their price match policy and shop somewhere where Customers are actually treated as they should be. I'll make sure I keep an eye out for their going out of business sale, because their price markup is absolutely insane. This is for ammo and Firearms as well.

Typically, I have an acceptable experience at this particular DICK’s, but today, a sales rep named Tony really embodied the first name of the store. What I thought would be a simple exchange of chair the manufacturer told me to return to the store, turned into Tony telling me that “they will accept the exchange, but the manufacturer does not tell them what to do! The name on the store is not GCI…. That’s not what it says out front.” His comment was completely unnecessary, especially since dude was accepting the exchange anyway. IDK, chalk it up to a bad day? Maybe. Just watch out for this guy!

I just purchased the Calloway Xr driver and the service was impeccable. I got great service for the gentleman that was working. I obviously did not buy the most expensive driver there and he treated me as I was. New to playing golf and he took the time to explain things to me, we hit some balls in the simulator and gave me a suggestion to help with my swing. I will definitely be coming back to this location in the future. Kudos to your team. Keep up the good work.

Pretty good place to grab things you forget to grab before heading out fishing or camping from work. Prices are a little high, and they used to have an archery section, which at least right now they no longer have, but the real best thing about this store is when they have their clearance stuff set out before each new season. It’s worth a look! Otherwise, you can most likely find what you need. The price will just be a bit higher.

We just purchased a basketball backboard for $1600. It was the most painful experience because literally one person did not know what the next person was doing. Not only was the back board not in stock, when we attempted to order it online the sales person did not know how to complete the transaction and ultimately require the managers assistance. Despite getting the managers assistance we still could not set up a delivery date.

Very bad customer service!!!! I know they want to go home but the manager Tony (if they told me the real name- older guy with glasses) literally kick us out of the store! We had a couple of jackets in our hand ready to buy but him coming twice to tell us they are closing in two minutes and the registers are close made us just leave what we were buying. I wonder if we weren’t Hispanic, would he had treated us the same??

They had everything for sports. Your masks is required too and social distancing is put in place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Went there for the fist time yesterday and I was able to get all I needed. Got some outdoor gear for my kids too. Their swimming gears are so good. Got life jacket for myself and the kids and their snorkels. They also set up and email for discounts too.

This review is for the shoe department. It sucks. No one around to help you out. Stock on the floor is minimal. They have two to three of the same shoe on display. I guess that makes the department look larger than it is. Did not have half sizes. They were out of stock of what I wanted. Wasted thirty minutes of my life. Done with this joint. Academy is now my go to store.

This review is solely for the swimming gears. There were no swimming caps and goggles on display (went last Saturday, 16th March 2019). Checked with 3 different staffs, pointed out at the same direction “that corner of the store”; but there were none. Dick’s Irving was better, never faced these issues at the Irving branch. Wonder why the Irving branch got shut down!

Would give them 0 star. Ask the store manager to help me find some rocker chair, reply was if they are here they are here otherwise we don’t know where to look for it. Then just left like that didn’t bother to check inventory or anything. Dick’s deserves a quick bankruptcy. Let’s see. My prediction is they won’t make it over a year

Visited this outlet to change the grip of my goft club. Carter at the golf section was very helpful, he tried his best to let us know everything we need to and did a good job in changing the grip for me. Look for carter if you happen to drop by this outlet. This friendly and professional boy will definitely make your day

Variety of things to choose from. Kinda pricey considering i can buy the same products from at least 2 other stores for much less. I would recommend creating a specialty to drive more business. (Push products for a Certain sport- hockey gear isnt easy to find and little women have no options in golf... Just a suggestion)

They only had the floor model of an older less popular adjustable weight (powerblock 50) but went out of their way to look for it, then offered me the floor model. It looked fine and I was happy to buy it. The price was less than what I had seen online too, but perhaps that was due to it being a floor model.

I was looking for something specific and called first as the weather was bad and I didn't want to get out in it. An employee named Ashley answered the phone. Found what I was looking for and she held it for me. It was the last one. She is awesome. Then at the checkout the item ended up being about 60% off.

DO NOT order online for pickup. If they don't have the item they can't switch it to another store. Your money will be tied up for 3-5 business days. Store was very unhelpful with the matter and could care less. Customer service number is not any better. A smug sorry is all I got. Never again.

If I could rate lower I would. Terrible customer service. The girl working the shoe section could not be bothered. She made me feel like a nuisance when asking her for help...I was keeping her from her phone. I am not one to ever complain, but I will not be returning any time soon.

Online it said this location carried firearms, Ammunition and Accessories but they apparently stopped selling all of that along with fishing tach over 3 years ago at this location...... come on 3 years and you still haven't fixed the info on line...... over priced lazy company

Went in to the store looking for running shoes and could not find anyone to assist. I asked an employee walking by if she could help me find a size and her answer was “I don’t work in shoes” and then she continued to help someone else in the store. Terrible customer service.

Just horrible. Dick's is known for high prices and this location is known for horrible customer service. I have been here twice (always give a place a second chance) and the second trip was worse than the first. I'll drive the 10 extra minutes to get to academy.

Greeted at the door by a polite gentleman. A young lady helped me find what I was looking for (water shoes so I don't shred my feet on the bottom of the pool). The selection was small, but I was able to get " close enough" to make it work. Good store visit.

Clearance racks say pink is additional 50%off ticketed price and the manager said ticketed price was it which the rest of my things that were that color discounted additional but he didn't wanna change it... he was rude and not willing to go back and look.
