Came into this location to purchase a set of irons, found a set of Taylormade M2 irons that I initially thought were correctly priced at $499. I asked the team member working in the golf department that I was interested and ask where the rest of the set was. He replied that the rest of the set was missing. I asked what was the current price with 3 clubs of the 7 iron set missing? His response was “that’s the price, my manger won’t change it for some reason, but you can ask him” So I asked to speak to the manger which He initially said was available. I was then told that the manager currently on duty was conveniently on a conference call and was now unavailable and the answer was “NO” on a new price for the remaining clubs. To start the team member was friendly and helpful. That being said. I’m also a manager in retail and if a customer asked to talk to a manager about a reasonable question. Im not going to have my employee have to tell the customer “NO” That’s terrible customer service and it’s also a bad business practice to try to sell customers a product that’s missing pieces for the same price as if it’s not!

Dicks® has taken some flack for its corporate position on the 2nd Amendment; while it is their right to exclude law abiding citizens who are lawfully allowed to purchase a shotgun or rifle, it has created quite a stir. The selection has been good and prices reasonable. They cover the full spectrum of sports and outdoor activities; everything from softball and baseball, golf to fishing, running to weightlifting. That noted, Dicks® has a wide selection of sporting goods and athletic apparel. They still carry some rifles and shotguns, however they will not sell them to anyone under the age of 21, despite the federal law being 18.

Today's date is 10/02/2016. Disappointing at best. It's the only Dick's store in the area and my family and I were hoping to come here often but after today's experience I rather just shop at REI in Virginia. They were racial profiling! My husband came here to buy some hunting gear and while we were shopping they had the "security gurd" intimidate my family by walking in the isle that we were shopping to "ask if we needed assistance" Followed by the pretend manager or whatever he was. I know they were profiling because we are a minority and there was a Caucasian male near us that was not spoken to he was left alone to shop around. Leaving the store I felt highly insulted. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this store.

My wife and I normally have very good experiences when shopping here but today I can only give one star to the service we received today. We wanted to buy an elliptical machine and treadmill and have them delivered to our home. We asked a sales person for help to pick the best options for us. But all he talked about was his bad knees and why we shouldn't buy if we have bad knees (we don't) . lol This person in my opinion needs more sales training. Always a pleasure to visit this location. The store is always clean and organized. You usually get greeted as you walk in the door. The associates are always helpful and pretty knowledgeable. They will go out of their way to help! Well stocked too! Bought a fitness trampoline to keep a 7 yr old from going stir crazy in an apartment during these NO School days! Hope it works! It was Waaay up high. Had 3 different associates make sure I got what needed. All while helping other customers.

Customer service was the worst ever that have young people that don't care how important shoes are to athletes we need a shoe for our team seen them on Sunday called on Tuesday the female told us they moved all the Puma sneakers out. Really then calling was on hold for 45mins just for them to hung up everytime we call. They need to be fired I been calling since 9pm they don't closed til 9:30 just wanted info I will report this to corporate office tomorrow

First time at this location and Adrian made it such a nice experience. Was hoping to find some tennis related items and despite many things being sold out Adrian helped us find some good golf equipment and gave very helpful tips on the kind of tennis racket I needed. It is always nice to meet staff that are knowledgeable and wanting to help better your extracurricular activities. Thank you Adrian!

It is Wednesday May 5th around 2:30 I came in to this store to buy a bicycle , I was going to spend at least $500 dollars , Stood up in front of the guy who was fixing a bicycle, for good twenty minutes, other store employees walked by, and no one, absolutely no one even acknowledged that I was there, no one even bothered to ask me if I needed help, I guess I take my money somewhere else ✌

Went in to get a medicine ball and the price tag was $44. I don't think so, not at those prices. The manager asked if I found everything ok, I was like, "I can beat these prices on Amazon. He asked me to show him what Amazon had the same medicine ball for and he'll match it. He did just that. I got my medicine ball for $19.99. I had an awesome workout today, just in case anybody wants to know.

Man, I love Dick’s (he said without even the hint of a grin) - One of the last brick and mortar sporting good stores that we have in this country. Support them by purchasing directly from the store or you can be rest assured that we will all solely be ordering everything online in the very near future..... and that’s not really a future that we want.

This place has the worst customer experience in DC. I walked the entire store twice looking for an employee. The cashier said my best bet for help was to keep searching for an employee or use the as scanner to see if the shoe was available there before anyone could assist me. She than said other than that she didn't know what to tell me.

Nothing special about Dick’s lately. Product selection is a bit sparse, at least in the golf section. Layout is somewhat confusing, as some product locations aren’t logical such as golf shoes next to treadmills rather than golf equipment. Store is pretty understaffed. There were no employees around except for one cashier up front.

Don't try buying a bike here. Most of the bikes are on raised racks that require an employee to bring down for you. But there is hardly anybody working here. There were two people working in the entire store that shift. And the store is the huge. What a waste of time. After waiting half an hour, we finally gave up

After purchasing a pair of sneakers waited for cashier to place in a bag only to be informed there was a five cent fee.....Really, so I'm supposed to just walk out the door with the box in my hand I say include this fee in the cost, not charge me extra!!!!!

I don't know why they have on the webside that in this location they sale fishing gear when theres none i came here for the first time to check out the fishing items and theres none anywhere in the store
