I love going to DSW designer they have so many shoes and any type of shoes you want to choose from:-)! This place is the hugest shoe store I ever been to I have been a loyal customers with them since the day they been open and if you sign up with a program you will get huge discounts for shoes they have so many variety of shoes and sizes I just love their sandals :-)! And the purses and a variety of socks and this time I was surprised they sell Burt's Bees products:-)! But they do need a lot of cashier to hurry up the line :-(! They need to carry 8 and below men's dress shoes that is one of the disadvantage on that part and also for women like us that is hard to find size 5 and 1/2 or 5 and sometime even size 6 is hard to find shoe size :-(! I like it when they always have clearance sales:-)! They also have some funky looking shoes that I will not even dare to wear it! But they do have also elegant shoes very unique designers :-)! Some shoes I don't believe should sell that high price and some other shoes are very reasonable price:-) :-(! They have very nice backpacks also :-)! I hope that you all will enjoy shopping there :-)!

I love this place and I never have this kind of situation before I was there this week to return the shoes I have a receipts and everything the cashier she scan shoes and she told me the shoes number and the receipt number is not matching She keep telling me the same thing... with her altitudeI...was like what do you mean I have the receipt have the shoes I get what you saying is that my problem or who’s problem that not matching the number however she called her supervisor whatever and he said the same thing and then they ask me you need to have your Driver license I said OK.And finally they said they going to give me store credit I said why are you going to give me store credit I don’t want to your store credit b/c I paid debit.however they find my debit card and they return it but no one ask me apologize or sorry I was so disappointed my plan was after I return I was going to Buy shoes but I was so mad and I just walk out...

Very friendly helpful lady named Brenda at the register(post oak location) .... found a boot in my size at a near by location bc their location was out. I called that near by location (7534 Westheimer rd) and after giving them the boot name AND bar code number, I was told they didnt have it. Good thing I listen to Brenda. She told me to just get the bigger size at the post oak location and go to the Westheimer store and see if they have my size and do an exchange. I drove over to the Westheimer location and what did I find immediately? My size shoe that the Westheimer location staff claimed they didnt have at all, let alone my size. I'm so grateful for good customer service, nowadays it seems so rare. If you dont want you work...dont, but if you are employed.... stop the laziness and do your job! This location was friendly and helpful-- will be going to this location and others besides the lazy staff Westheimer one.

I hadn't been to this place in years but they sent me a coupon so I went back. It is a lot different from what I remembered. I guess like everything else, it doesn't seem to be that cheap anymore. They show you the regular price and their price so they make it look good but with all the different options out there, it's really nothing special. I did some google searches while I was shopping and the discounted prices were all about the same. The bad part is, if you have any questions, you have to walk all the way to the front to asked because no associates are in the store to help you.

I ordered online. First time. I received a pair of flip flops that had clearly been used. They were a light blue and had toe marks in them (gross). I also ordered a pair of navy and white slip on sandals. I received black and white. When I contacted them about the order, I was told if I wanted to fill out a form and that they would then send me a label I could take to fedex for return and if I wanted, they would "hand select" replacement items for me. Why aren't our orders hand selected to begin with? Who fills the orders? Used shoes? Yeah, no thanks.

The girl at the counter wouldn’t let me pay without a phone number or email address. Absolutely ridiculous business practice. Do you want my money or do you want my personal information? You’re not getting both when I’m standing in a physical store location. Considering how a number of companies have been hacked and their clients personal information stolen I have no desire to give out that information in a store with 10 people standing next to me. I’m sure there’s an option to skip but the employee wouldn’t do it. Completely asinine.

Melanie is amazing, from start to finish! She went out of her way to help me with my order since we were originally planning on going to Houston for New Years, and we live in San Antonio. Well, Covid happened so instead of making this situation more difficult for me about being able to receive my package.. she took the time to take my information, and now my wife will be receiving her shoes here in San Antonio. Just left the store a few minutes ago. They have a great system with a greeter there who told us about their new sanitization process where to try on shoes and place them. Everyone there was extremely helpful, and we found exactly what we were looking for. Very clean store, cashiers were super friendly and were super calm to the Karen next to us who was complaining about her Samsung Pay not working. We got a good laugh. Great store. Coming back for sure.

They recently changed the women's side to include kids shoes in the first aisle, seems like the took away a lot of the dress shoes. Recently went to look for dress shoes for a wedding and there were limited options. There was only 1 register open and two additional people (what looked like managers but I am not sure) at another register, they both looked over at the line of people and did not even address us standing there.

A "discount" shoe store. Eclectic collection of Men's shoes, much smaller than the Women's section. No surprise there, but why there was nowhere for a guy to sit down is beyond me. I borrowed a bench from the ladies and put it back. Is there some kind of dearth in shoe shops everywhere? Service is limited to checkout, but friendly enough once you get to the end of the line. I bought two pair for less than $120.

I love love love DSW in particular Post Oak Blvd store. A big thanks to one of the most helpful guys working in there called Jovon. He helped my husband buy four pairs of trainers today so customer service at its best esp as my husband is not a shopper ha! I have so many shoes and boots from DSW and I’ve yet to meet anyone who can visit the store and not walk out with at least one pair of footwear! Thanks guys!

Labor Day was not their busiest day. I've bought my last eight pairs of shoes here over a decade and found the most comfortable walking shoes ever in minutes, highly unusual. The $60 price was welcomed, since I never look at the prices until I find an attractive and comfy fit. The price was so reasonable, I paid roughly the same for my wife's shoes too. The staff was as friendly and professional as ever.

Wonderful shoe selection and prices but the employees are never helpful. Every time I go there are 2 cashier's and a huge line. I even asked one of the casheirs to call for back up and she said she already did twice and if she does it again she will get in trouble. I believe her. This location was not always like this. Terrible management I guess. Go only if you have an extra 20 minutes to wait in line

Absolutely wonderful experience. Emerlin and Tiffany went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I had a great shopping experience. I tried on a pair of sunglasses and was to short to see myself in the mirror, and Tiffany offered to take a picture so I could see what they looked like. Emerlin was full of energy and it was 10 minutes until closing. Great shoe selection and customer service.

Went in to return a pair of shoes I ordered online. Had to wait over 20 min in line. There were only two cashiers working and one was helping a guy the whole time so basically one cashier for a whole line of people. Just crazy. They need more cashiers or a express lane for quick returns. I shouldn’t have to be in the store for over 20 min to return a pair of shoes come on !

Great shoe selection but the woman I asked for help was on her cell phone and acted like I was an inconvenience. I asked her for a boot in my size, she looked at the shelf and said nope. I asked if they had anything in back and she said probably not. I was prepared to drop $300 on some sexy boots but didn't. She didn't peel her phone away from her face the whole time.

Such a great assortment of shoes with wonderful names such as Jessica Simpson, Steve Madden, Antonio Melani and others. Prices are very reasonable and there was a great after CHRISTMAS sale plus I had a coupon so I purchased 7 pairs of shoes for less than $300. I make it a point to visit the nearest DSW. Recommend this store to others for great shoes at low prices.

We really liked the store. This was my first time in a DSW but my wife says that they are larger and have more of a selection. I personally feel that they are on the higher side of my price point but I may have to come back because they have a few things I haven’t seen elsewhere yet. Parking was plentiful and the store was very clean and organized.

Really disappointed with their behavior!! I'm VIP rewards member, DSW send me $30 rewards and I placed the order online, a $30 handbag. But when I went to the post oak store to pick that bag the way that store personnel told me "this is your free bag" and his behavior, look!! I was feeling very embarrassed. I decided to cancel that VIP account.

Customer service is the only reason this particular location received one star. I prefer the convenience of shopping at stores near me. I don’t mind shopping at further locations with better customer service. Good people skills are essential in customer service. The lady working the in store pickup today lacks in this area.

Lots of selection for shoes. Huge selection. Unfortunately, almost every shoe I liked did not have a size 10.5 for sale. I went in the morning, so unlikely they were bought out that day. Most common sizes need to be kept in stock. I ended up essentially using them as a show room as nine of the shoes I wanted were available.

The entire sole of my one existing shoe came off so I needed a pair of dress shoes urgently having just arrived in Houston from Canada. I went to DSW and found exactly what I was looking but they did not have my size so I opted for my second choice. Overall good experience, good price, good quality and friendly service.

DSW always has a varied selection that meets my price point for my teenage girls. I'm always on the lookout for quality inexpensive shoes because well, my daughters are TEENAGERS and really hard on their shoes LOL! I will take one star off as my youngest daughter wears a size 11 and a lot of their styles end at size 10.

Excellent service. No one helped or offered to help me on the floor but my cashier was awes. Very helpful and friendly. I went in for heel padding for shoes that I had just bought at the Post Oak location. I ended up checking out their sale items and got a great pair of heels. The store was clean and organized.

Went during the holiday season and the line was to the mid way of the store. All I was doing was picking up my purchase but had to stand in the regular line like I was purchasing. Once getting to the counter still had to wait for my purchase to be brought to the front of the store. Need a online purchase line

There was a good selection of shoes for men and a great selection for women here within certain brands. It was perfect for my wife to find what she was looking for and she is the harder one to get shoes for. The selection for men was smaller and I couldn't find many Nike shoes which is what i normally get.

Manager Barb is very unprofessional and not very helpful. If you have an issue on returns ‍♀️ run from that store. You wont get help from Barb... we are VIP customers and we received the poorest customer experience and this not what DSW stands for! She wasn't even wearing a name badge …

Only been here a few times but have had a great experience with each time. Great one stop shop for the whole family to get some new shoes. They have a large variety from casual, to sport and to formal and everything in between. They also have some purses and accessories for women.

Great selection, mostly aisles of women's shoes but still tons of options for men. Prices starting to vary more than a few years ago ... can buy men's dress shoes for anywhere between $50 to $150, and sandals $30 to $100. Checkout lines are almost always short (1 person wait).

Surprisingly large selection of shoes. No Customer Service Reps, totally self serve. If they don't have your sized on shelve, they don't have it. Cashiers are strictly cashier's. Not many places to sit down and try on shoes. Store was vlean. Plenty of parking On bus rout.

Oh my goodness, I had an event and found the perfect shoes! A hint of sparkle, not to terribly high gorgeous!!! I also found a soft pick pair of satiny ballet flats, they're so cute, I should've bought 2 pair for later. So comfy! Huge variety at that location!

Great selection of footwear, all at a discount to regular price - though in but sure what that means these days. I think all the stock is out on the shop floor, so if the right size isn't visible, then they probably don't have it in stock. Well worth a visit

Terrible customer service. I asked where a certain shoe was that shows in stock online and the employee says, “somewhere around here.” Then I went to check out and pay , and four employees were too busy taking amongst themselves behind the register. Ugh!

They Sell Brand Shoes For Sometimes Less Than Major Department Stores. Large Selection Of Designer Shoes And Athletics. Sometimes You Have To Size Up For A Comfortable Fit. Returns And Refunds Are Easy, Even If Your Purchase Was Online.

Ordered leggings and shoes online and picked up curbside, and items were delivered to me by hand without bags. I asked the lady who hand delivered my items for a bag??? She stated curbside services do not include bags.
