This place is way overpriced. I may be fat, but I'm not stupid... I used to shop here back in the day, and they charge designer prices for "house brand" clothing. None of the clothes last very long either as they are all very cheaply made. This fat guy shops at a place in the mall that sounds like "A.P. Denny's".They have a decent sized B&T section at the Rivergate mall location. If you want to see more, the Cool Springs "Denny's" has a lot more to choose from. Also, with regards to that particular mall retailer. They have many designer brands available for decent prices if you can catch them on clearance. Brands like Claiborne, Lacoste, Levis, and Adidas. You can also find a large selection of B&T stuff at their website and if something doesn't fit or if you don't like it, you can return it to the local store.

Why I have never been here before is a mystery. I had to get clothes for a funeral so I drove an hour and a half to get there. Literally within 15 minutes I was ready to be out the door! It made my head spin. I have never seen such service in many a decade. That was certainly old time service. All the employees were very sweet. When I stepped in and said what I wanted I was actually measured, which NEVER happens! I was so surprised to see ready made things in my size because I'm huge. Right off the rack. Boom! Done! Instead of just settling for the pitiful amount of clothes you can find in large sizes in the stores and online these days, I will definitely be back! I didn't have time to browse around but did see nice things at reasonable prices. I was on a mission so I will go back when I have more time.

This is an awesome store with a wide selection! The interior of the store is beautiful and modern, and the staff are very friendly and helpful! Jon helped me with my selection, and his assistance greatly increased my satisfaction with the visit! He helped me find exactly what I was looking for and had me out the door in no time! This was my first visit to this store, but I find myself looking forward to future visits! I know shopping online can be convenient, but the online experience is incomparable to the brick-and-mortar experience where someone that cares actually helps you! This was a 100% "Five-Star" experience!

Excellent store, excellent staff! Nina and Amanda are so involved with their customers and love being of service. My fiance and I go in often and whenever we go and Nina and Amanda are there we end up staying for more than an hour. Usually just walking around and shopping but mostly because the staff makes the experience so welcoming you feel comfortable enough to stay. There is no pressure to buy but they are always there ready to help if you need it. Can't tell you how much I love those two women. Nina especially, she's the sweetest woman there, and so loving. Love the DXL at this location.

This particular DXL in Madison at Rivergate Mall the prices are always extremely high for example one pair of black Levi’s is $100 I have always shop there because I have a big tall man the last time I had her pick out socks for me she gave me the wrong size and I cannot return them because I have worn them she also gave me the wrong shirts I’ve worn them so I cannot return them the prices are extremely high but if you’re a big tall man you must shop there the staff is extremely courteous and extremely helpful.

The quality of the clothes is expensive. Just before I went into the store located in Madison Tennessee, three shoplifters walked in, took as many items that they could carry and walked out. While I was shopping I learned from the clerk that the shoplifters hit the store in Franklin. The clerk informed me that the policy is to not call the police and that the company “writes” it off. Could be why it’s so expensive. All locations need security.

Nina and Jon were more than helpful with my sisters and I . We were visiting from Memphis to get some Christmas shopping out of the way and they made sure we took great care of our dad with a great selection and amount of clothes. Also after we found everything that we were looking for our dad they offered coupons and who does not love coupons because I do! Go shop with Nina and Jon they are beyond helpful and give the best customer service !

I dont know why I have never been to a DXL store before but I was very happy with the selection of formal clothing and the fact that everything actually had my sizes available. The help I received from Nina was excellent and both her and her manager were so nice. Nina was very knowledgeable and helped me put together a great looking wardrobe to wear to my company's event. I had a fantastic experience and will be back very soon!

I’ve been to 2 name brands store to get me a last minute suit for my fathers funeral. No luck at all because of my size. I mean I spent at least an hour and half at each store. I walked into DXLand I was greeted by a man name John. He was very friendly and helpful. John had me dressed very nice and I was out the door within 35 mins. I will recommend DXL and I will return this department store in the future.

Felt very uncomfortable Blonde head woman followed me around kept telling me about people stealing in her store. I came to shop not hear about her theft issues in her store I watched she did not speak like that to her white patrons. So offensive and insensitive it was intentional or she does not have a clue of how insensitive that is to a African American customer

Went in there today IAM bad with names but I got great customer service I got a belt shirt and 3 pairs of jeans she's really good was glad to help 2 of them will be shipped to me I was in one in MA in may only difference they had more clearance marked down more ! But customer service is better here thanks for the help !!! …

Took my husband to get fitted for a suit for my daughter’s wedding. Nina was extremely helpful and my husband left and looked like a million bucks! Much different than the non eventful experience we had at Mens Warehouse which I will never return to regardless of any sale. I will only shop DXL for now on!!

First off,, the service is great and very personalized.. I can not say anything bad about that. The selection however is not great and the prices are unjust. I realize that more fabric is necessary to cover someone with more surface area, but the pricing of a tee shirt or a pair of shorts is just obscene.

I drove 40 miles to the rivergate location they open at noon. The manager decides to take an hour lunch from 1 until 2? I've been a dedicated customer for years but I guess it's time to switch over to King Size if I can't actually check the clothes out in person. Thank you for wasting my Memorial Day!

Every time I visit your stores, I receive exceptional customer service. In the past month, I’ve shopped in two different states and my experiences couldn’t be better. My last time was in Gallatin, TN. Rodney assisted me and couldn’t have been more helpful or pleasant. DXL has great people.

The saleswoman Cat, she made all of the difference in the world. I had an interview the next day and was in deperate need of a new suit. Cat treated me like I was one of her sons. She made sure I got what I needed and looked good. Cat is a credit to this store. Thank you so much!

I Google for store hours, drive from Clarksville tn going by the hours Google posted, they know close @6pm . Waste of time and gas, I even called both Nashville area locations. No voicemail or even a messaging system to notify of the new store hours. Gas ain’t that cheap yet!!

outstanding service. friendly, helpful staff. as always, this store has some good clothing choices for bigger men. it is a little pricey for the quality and the choices have been somewhat limited, but it is reliable and really the only consistent store for big and tall.

I went on vacation and left every shirt, except the one I had on, at home. Stopped by for my first time to get a few just for my trip. The ladies that was working were super helpful and extremely nice. DXL has my business from now on mainly because of them.

I like your store big sizes my grand son is 17 and it almost 600 wear a your sizes seven dxl shirts and 5dxl shorts and pants I'm on disable his mother is too can t afford them I wonder if y'all need a .model so he can buy what he needs to wear thank you

Horrible selection of clothing at this store. I’ve been to other DXL locations and they have so much better quality. I’m not sure why this location is full of cheap clothes and others have quality brands. The staff is nice and willing to help.

This is the place for big & tall, big & short. DXL has it. Fair price for clothes. Fellas I know we don't like shopping and may get discouraged when stores don't have what we want. I didn't have that issue here.

Too expensive for what they sell. Just because I wear 3X doesnt mean they can charge 3X for their clothes. For example, a 3XL Beastie Boys t-shirt is $39.99.. that's more than you'd pay at the concert!!!

This was the best place my husband had a hard time finding clothes but when we went here we found everything we needed and then some the management was on top of everything without even having to ask

Dxl is a good place to shop if your a big man 2xl to 7xl sizes alot of clothes to choose from been shopping there for years and your clothes last for years also

The best place to get clothes for big guys. Downside, it's extremely expensive. But the staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful.
