Unfortunately as the buyer of a property we are not allowed to select the conveyancer to do the transfer. Dykes Van Heerden was appointed as the attorneys for the transfer by the seller. It was the worst possible experience. They are over priced! many other attorney companies were charging us far lesser. Absolutely sloppy with documentation , calculations and extremely delayed with their communication, basically they provide horrible customer experience. They made errors on the costing about 3 times each time it needed to be pointed out by us. Even at the end of the deal they were errors with regards to the refunds and again it had to be appointed by us. They charge for so many extra things without explaining. If they require you to sign a document you will have to print, scan and email them. They won't come to you even though you are charged thousands. We weren't notified about registration of an account with the municipality until a week or 2 after the transfer had taken place or that they'd be so much more additional cost. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! if you are a Buyer of a property I wouldn't recommend you deal with them
