I had a wonderful experience at Damara Day Spa! Upon arrival, I was happily welcomed into the spa and given some forms to fill out. While completing the information forms I noticed there was a section about whether you wanted “silence, some conversation, ongoing conversation, or no talking” during your treatment. I personally have never seen a section like this on the information forms that I’ve filled out at other spas. I thought this was such a great addition when collecting information as it sets up an experience that is tailored to the client’s desires. I received the Oxygeneo 3-in-1 superfacial which was lovely! Shuranda took amazing care of me from start to finish. Before we started, Shuranda asked me some follow-up questions to the forms I had filled out. Throughout the treatment I was informed of what was happening and provided with lots of information. Shuranda is extremely knowledgeable and it is clear that she is passionate about helping others feel their best! The atmosphere of Damara is cozy, warm, and relaxing. There are a variety of treatments and services that are offered. I was also impressed to view the diverse selection of products sold at the spa. I would highly recommend Damara Day Spa to everyone, and I can’t wait to return back in the very near future!

As a pre-wedding gift I took my two daughters (bride and maid of honour) here for a spa day. We booked three Ultimate Indulgence packages and were extremely disappointed. The body wrap was pointless, all of us were very cold and uncomfortable. The bride actually asked them to remove it right away as she was shivering uncontrollably. They need to rethink how to apply and remove the product, perhaps extra blankets and a heated bed. My facial was very bad, she took no time to evaluate my skin, didn’t even turn on the lights. There were no extractions, nothing was applied to my neck and décolletage. Didn’t apply anything to my eyes and there was no neck and shoulder massage. Scalp massage was annoying as she didn’t seem to know what she was doing. The worst part of the experience was the massage, the girl wore gloves which felt uncomfortable on my skin, she applied no pressure even after I asked her to, it felt like she was just there to slather oil on me. She didn’t touch my lower back. The whole massage was just annoying. I can’t believe I paid so much for such a bad experience. I would recommend they do more training and upgrade their facilities if they are going to charge these rates.

Good Morning Yesterday me and my hubby spent the day at your "spa". I want to start by saying the ladies we had taking care of us were extremely friendly and did what they could. We spent over 800 and feel like we got nothing for our money. The massages were more of a rub down which we could have done to each other. The wrap felt very rushed to apply and then take off. After that we were asked to get dressed (which I found odd considering we had more to get done) most spas will give you a house coat. The manicure was in a small room with a towel over a dinner tray and nothing was really done besides a bit of filing and nail polish. We had to wait in a hallway of a hotel while this setup took place. We moved on to the the pedi again we were asked to wait outside while this was set up. The chairs are so uncomfortable, room was cold and again nothing was really done besides some filing and nail polish. The tubs where you place you feet were broken so they were transferring water from a sink to the tub. The jets didnt work either in the tub. As a spa you should offer more of a relaxing area. Not happy at all. Came from out of town for a nice day.

Finding this spa has been HEAVEN SENT! I’ve been on the search for an aesthetician for a while, in desperate need of help with my skin & skincare! Clean, friendly, comfortable, effective & AFFORDABLE what else could I have asked for! I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in my skin after only a few treatments & I will keep coming back for more! Treatment was personalized to exactly what I needed and I was given tips on how too maintain my skin at home, I didn’t feel like just another “client”! I HIGHLY recommend this spa, I’ll be a customer for life! THANK YOU!!

My feet could have used a significant amount more filing My nails were still wet and tacky the following morning My cuticles were not cleaned up very well My nails weren't filed to shape The mani/pedi massages were lack lustre The selection of polish was not very good The room for mani/pedis was tiny, poorly lit, and uncomfortable The pedi could have used an actual pedi chair with a jet bowl for the feet as well as reclined For the 30 minite massage I was left in the dark to try and find my way to undress and get on the table unable to see

Where do I even begin?! I just left and felt the need to write this because it was so amazing!! I booked in for a couple's massage and facial for my sister and I. The whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end, my therapist relieved so much tension in my shoulders and back. She also told me what my skin needed and figured out that I have been using the wrong products for my face my whole life. Lol so much thank yous to the ladies at Damara Spa! This tired Mama needed that more than you know! Hopefully be back soon. ❤️

Came for a manicure, intentionally chose a day spa instead of nail spa to have a more relaxing experience. The room was bland, uncomfortable chairs, and the lady doing my nails was very kind, but did an awful job on my nails (I just wanted shaping and a plain polish) the top coat was all lumpy and stringy. The manicure was awful, not worth any time or money, and the atmosphere was not relaxing or spa- like. The ladies working there did what they could and were very sweet but not skilled at nails. Do not recommend

Went for a last minute massage, and the Damara spa was very accomodating to us. They made time for my daughter and I and went above and beyond to call us back to let us know what they could do. My treatment was done by Shuranda and wow, she was amazing!! She was very professional, welcoming and friendly and she got me at ease right away. She really took the time to understand where I was in pain and worked on all those areas. I highly recommend her and the Damara spa at The DoubleTreee by Hilton West Edmonton!!

I had a relaxing time at Damara Day Spa. Sonis did my treatments and she was extremely professional and very detail oriented. I felt welcomed from she greeted me at the door and sought to ensure I was comfortable during my time there. I felt refreshed and rejuvenated after my facial anx massage and look forward to next appointment. They epitomize service excellence and are truly experts at what they do.

My husband surprised me with a couples facial at Damara, and I was absolutely blown away. I've had spa facials before, but never one like this. My esthetician did an AMAZING job, and relaxed me to the point of putting me to sleep. She really took her time and massaged my face and neck so well. I left with glowing skin, and feeling like I was walking on cloud nine. 10/10 would recommend.

Shuranda gave me the most skilled, informed and effective massages of my life. She uses a variety of techniques -- not limited to traditional massage -- to achieve impressive results in a single session. Ask her and she'll also send you home with exercises to extend the results. I will see her again every time I'm in Edmonton! A highly talented professional. I can't praise her enough.

The staff were punctual and friendly from the start. They made my kids feel special and took their time with each child and were personable and made it easy for the kids to be themselves and comfortable. They weren't at all pretentious and we had an excellent experience. The pedicures were well achieved also:) And, it was priced affordably.

I went to a duel massage and facial with my sissy, it was phenomenal. Just go! Take your friends, take your loved ones. Take just yourself. What a treat! So relaxing, so lovely. The massage was perfect full body and the facial left me glowing inside and out. Thank you for a much needed spa treatment ❤️❤️

I had the ultimate indulgence. I had a nice massage, body wrap that smelled amazing, and a great facial. I love that they analyze your skin to ensure you get the best facial for you. I have very sensative skin. The eminence products are amazing and soothing! I would recommend this place :)

I have been having some tension in my neck the last couple of weeks. I came to get a massage here and the pain is gone. The staf were nice and welcoming and the space was very clean and smelt great. I will definitely be coming again.

I had a massage with Mekelle. She was extremely professional & made me feel comfortable. The atmosphere was peaceful and the spa was very clean. Overall it was a great experience. I will definitely return & book with Mekelle again

I had an amazing experience. The lady that did my waxing was very chilled and not rough at all. I'm not a fan of Brazilian wax but she will be seeing me on a regular. Also the environment itself is calm and relaxed and very clean.

Relaxing space, professional and warm staff, and amazing service. I had a massage with Shuranda and it was one of the best I've had. I'm looking forward to going back to Damara Day Spa for the other services they provide.

I believe a therapeutic massage is best evaluated the following day - if you feel better. As such, I can report that I truly do feel better today and have better mobility. I look forward to returning in the future.

One of the best Spa treatment we have had. We started off with a foot massage and pedicure, after that we had our massage. The owner was kind enough to provide us with wine too. Our retreat Spa day was a hit.

This was one of the best massages I’ve ever received. Shuranda was able to give me a great deep tissue massage and really get the knots out. My back hasn’t felt this good in a long time.
