Dana's Flower Shop did an amazing job on the flower arrangements for my wedding. I met with Jimmy and he prepared a sample arrangement for me. We were able to work out exactly what flowers I wanted at a specific cost. Make sure to take a picture of the arrangement that you work on together so that he can refer back to the photo for the day of the wedding. Out of all the places I researched in Queens and Long Island, Danas Flowers Shop had the best prices and they were very willing to work with me to keep the cost within my budget. Jimmy was a absolute pleasure to work with. He was always available by cell/text and was very accommodating when I had last minute changes/additions to the flower arrangements. The individual bouquets for my bridesmaids and me were fresh, all done on time, and so nicely packaged. When we arrived at the venue, we were blown away by the great job they did on all the table settings. All the guests were commenting on how beautiful and clean all the arrangements were. All the guests grabbed an arrangement to take home afterwards and I know it served as a great display piece at their homes for days after the wedding. Dana's refused me service today. I went early, first thing, to order a corsage for my mother. She's elderly, in a nursing home. We can't buy her gifts, but we are going to take her out for the day, wanted her to feel pretty with a corsage, make her feel special. I walked in the rain with my 3 year old, he was excited, we were talking about the colors of the flowers we were gonna buy for grandma. They were getting a delivery, and preparing different flower arrangements for delivery. One customer before me ordered a huge bouquet of roses, but we were the only 2 customers in the store at the time and he left after his purchase. I asked if they could make me a corsage, the guy rushing around rudely replied "i can't". I understand that my purchase was not big, but every customer is important regardless. My son and I disappointingly left the shop, and he asked me where grandmas flowers were, i couldn't reply. I was sad enough that i couldn't bring my mother the one simple thing that could've made her day. And that they couldn't even offer to make it later when maybe he wasn't so busy. For a minute, i thought, maybe they just don't make them. But previous reviews, tell me they do

I visited the flower shop shortly after opening. The place was well-organized and you can tell they care for their flowers/plants because none of them looked withered or dusty. The gentleman who assisted me was pleasant and ready to help, even though he was alone and obviously busy; that didn't stop him from giving me his complete attention. I asked for a flower hair crown but they do not make those. Still willing to help, the gentleman suggested and brought from storage some flowers in case I wanted to make my own crown. After I was no longer interested on the crown, I started to ask questions about flowers and he was ready to answer. He made me feel like he valued my business however small it was. I ended up buying a pretty, single flower for a great price. ...Update: Last night, Jimmy--the gentleman who assisted me at the shop--arranged me the simplest yet most elegant bouquet after hearing of the purpose for the single flower I paid for in the morning. Simply my favorite flower shop in Queens. Whether it’s exotic floral arrangements or healthy houseplants, this place has it all. These guys take the time to listen and work within your budget. Your flowers will last and stay fresh. Many flowers and roses to choose from. From red, yellow, peach, white, orange, as well as exotic varieties too. Cards are always free also. They also have chocolate, teddy bears, humorous cards, condolence cards, fruit as well as dry cracker gift baskets. I’ve been coming to jimmy for 18 years and he has always treated me like family. This place is simply the best deal when it comes to flowers. They don’t just sell, but teach you how to take care of your arrangements or houseplants.The Q46 bus stops in front of the place. The E & F trains also stop directly underneath the place. Since there is an elevator for the train across the street, you can come here by wheelchair either by bus or train.

AVOID!! Came here expecting good things based on reviews but ended up having a horrible experience. Walk in to simply buy my girlfriend flowers. Employee wasn’t sure of pricing so they got the owner to assist me. He was very rude right away but I ignored it so I could get my flowers and get out. I didn’t like the price so I said I’d look at other flowers or just check somewhere else. Mind you, I was very calm and still intended on purchasing flowers from this shop. As I start to browse, I hear the owner whisper a racist remark under his breath. When i asked him to repeat what he said, he was quick to pretend like he said nothing. I told him I think I’d rather check another flower shop at this point, and he tells to go back to my country. Rarely do I leave reviews for any business, but the owner of this shop doesn’t deserve a penny from anyone.

I had ordered a bridal red and white rose bouquet and a red rose boutonnière (for groom) from Dana’s for my wedding. While ordering, we had shown the store rep the picture of the type of bouquet I wanted and specified that I wanted a red stem to hold the bouquet. On my wedding day, our friends picked up both my bouquet and boutonnière - my bouquet was nice but didn’t quite reflect the picture we had shown and had a bunch of green fillers which was okay but the stem was also the wrong color. Didn’t love it. The boutonnière was a complete waste of $$, the pins were so flimsy that it never stayed on the groom’s jacket and we couldn’t use it. My big day happened already but for other needs, I may look somewhere else. They are also quite pricey and didn’t live up to what we paid for.

I called on the same day I needed delivery for a floral arrangement for my moms 80th bday. I asked for it to be elegant and colorful. I gave Jim my budget and he did an amazing job! Delivery was to the door and my mom cried bragging on the phone that she could hardly carry the bouquet because it was so full. I live in another State so it meant a lot that this surprise went well and thanks to JIM it was perfect! I highly recommend their services. They even have online ordering but due to the importance of the event and customizing the order I wanted to go “old school” and call. Thanks so much if I could give you 10 ⭐️ s I would!

We came in from New Orleans for a birthday party for our dear friend's 93 year old mother! We needed a beautiful bouquet delivered to a local restaurant so we called Danas a couple of days before the weekend! The flowers were delivered on a Saturday for the Sunday lunch and they texted me a picture of the flowers prior to delivery. They were fresh, beautifully arranged and in a color matched vase as well. What a lovely presentation for our friend and such a value for what we paid! This is the perfect example of a great, family owned business taking care of business! Thanks Danas! You made the day!!!

If I could give a zero to the business especially the owner! I would ! Very unprofessional! Flowers just got delivered and the arrangement was horrible flowers look half dead and just a very sloppy job! I called the owner and explained how I felt and he just said he’ll go to my house and pick them up and refund me. Like excuse me??! I knew this was a great place just because of the customer service I received over the phone, when I called with a question. I was skeptical of ordering flowers online to be delivered to my mother-in-law because you don’t know how the flowers will look. She called today and said the flowers are so beautiful and she loves the way they were arranged. I will definitely be ordering and having flowers delivered again from Dana’s Flower Shop. I truly believed those flowers brought a little sunshine to her day. If you are hesitant about placing an order, don’t be. This is a great flower shop.

Today was my first time in this particular flower shop, I had passed by this place for years.I purchased a half dozen of red roses, The price was really good for the kind of long stem good cut roses. The customer service was great,and it is good to see a good family owned business still in queens after all of these years. Because there aren't to many florist around queens now and days. My wife loved the flowers, so that's an extra plus. I would definitely go back there in the future. This flower shop is definitely a staple in the community on queens blvd .a queens ny landmark .

They made a standing bouquet for my family member's funeral and it was absolutely beautiful. They put so much effort into it it and I was so impressed. The same standing bouquet on long island cost three times the price that I paid. I scheduled a pick up time and everything was ready to go and waiting for me as soon as I arrived. They even brought it to the car for me and packed it up in my car for easy transport. They did offer to deliver it for me but I figured I was driving out to the island anyway so I decided to deliver it myself. Will definitely use this florist again.

Flowers are flowers :) But the people working at this place, or should I say, the person who answered the phone today 2020.03.04 at 10:21 AM (in case the owner would like to see who that way) was extremely rude and impatient. I called to ask if he by any chance would be able to give me a more precise time on when the flowers are here, perhaps asking his delivery person if he's en route to my location. He refused and said, "I gave you a guarantee before 12 PM and that's it." He also laughed at me when I asked for it. First and last time I'm ordering anything from here.

My coworkers and I ordered a bouquet for our boss’s birthday, and it was more than we expected. The flowers were so beautiful, fresh and all the colors that Jimmy choose were really perfect. We weren’t sure what kind of arrangement we wanted to give her, and when I explained to Jimmy what kind of flowers and colors she will like, Jimmy paid attention at every single detail that I gave him (I can see it on the result). I ordered a vase of beautiful purple roses for my daughter who has been under the weather. Original I had scheduled for them to be delivered at the hospital where she was, only to find out she would be discharged today (thank God for his Number Blessing). I called Dana’s flowers to have them sent to our home address and they were very friendly and accommodating, they told me that they would probably not be delivered until 4pm due to change of address but to my surprise they were here at 1pm and they are gorgeous and very fresh. A truly amazing florist. Beautiful work and honest! I have ordered so many flowers online only to find out the arrangements look pathetic. No were near what I ordered in size and scope and always scaled down versions with minimal flowers. I called Danas and Jim was so helpful, courteous, kind and professional. I told him of my concern and he not only assured me of the quality of the arrangement but would also send a photo to me. Well, it was STUNNING. Exactly what I ordered+. I whole-heartedly recommend Dana's!

Never in my life have I ordered or received a bouquet and it came WITHOUT A VASE!! I am in disbelief that this flower shop charged my fiancé $70+ to have this “delivered.” I could’ve gotten this exact bouquet down the street from Natural Market for half the price. Absolutely unbelievable and a total rip-off. I blocked off my address on the card but you can see “Dana’s flower shop” listed at the top. I’m convinced all of this 5-star reviews are paid bots. There’s absolutely no way. Speechless.

I ordered a special bouquet of flowers with a balloon for our daughter who lives in Forest Hills. I went strictly by what other people had to say. Wow! My daughter was blown away with the beautiful bouquet that Jim and his team delivered to her apartment. She's never had such a large bouquet with so many different flower varieties that are so fragrant and fresh. So much care was taken into putting these together, even the balloon weight was adorable. I live in south Florida and after years of trying to send my family in New York flowers through big corporate companies and having horrible experiences, I decided to start using Dana’s and it has been a refreshing experience. I have placed about 6 orders since finding them and every single time they arrive on time, and even better quality than the pictures do it justice. Fresh flowers and I am happy to support a local business that does things the right way! Highly recommend!

I ordered flowers for same day delivery online. When I called the store to correct an error I made while filling out the delivery information, I was informed the truck had already left for that area. I was assured that they would be delivered the following day, which was fine by me! A few hours later, an enormous beautiful bouquet was delivered! Dana's florist went above and beyond to keep their promise. I couldn't be happier with the flowers and their customer service!!

Beware of the customer service that they provide. People working at the Dana's Flower Shop are extremely rude and impatient. The flowers are old and not fresh at all. Absolutely not worth $50. Every other florist in the Forest Hills has better options, and gives a much better value for the same $50. If you are about to purchase from them, please make sure half of the bouquet isn't wilted. These people will try to screw you over and sell you old flowers.

After ordering they called & said they can't process credit cards(even tho I gave them my card info) & that they are only taking zelle payments. It took everything in me not to ask if they were even a legitimate business. The person was rude & pushy about if I was "going to do zelle or not." & Because of his attitude, I said no I don't think so. Then he hung up. No professionalism what so ever. Glad my money will go elsewhere.

Anytime I need flowers I go to this place. I been coming to Danas for years and never had an issue. Their sevice is great. Even if there is a line which usually happens on mother's day, they still manage to get you in and out quick. Staff is friendly and helps you make a decision if you are not sure. I tried going to a more local pace once and I ended up walking out and driving to Danas. Their prices are reasonable as well.

Searching around for final flower arrangements for my mom that passed, I came across this place on Google maps. Based on it's great reviews I decided to give them a try. My expectations where met. Their selections was plenty and the prices were fair. Upon arriving to the funeral, I saw the casket spray I purchased and I was in awe of how beautiful it turned out. Thank you. For one, the customer service is horrible it seems as if the men working there don’t like to be bothered by any questions at all. The plants look beautiful but at the price point this place sells for, your better off going to noble plants, Natty plants, the sill or plants head even dahing and finding the same plants for a good few bucks less. this place is at the bottom of my list

Wonderful neighborhood flower shop. Wide variety of house plants, choices for bouquets, and flowers to pot. The owner is always super helpful. I got a bouquet for a couple, then asked for a carnation for my wife, and he threw it in for free. Also a great place for last minute Valentine’s flowers haha.
